I agree with Danny_js 100 and stevevai4 that Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird" would most likely do an awesome G3-jam!

Song of the lonely evening at home all by myself: Sting "The Wild Wild Sea"
...edit: no, make that "Soul Cages"

~8 days till G3~

I am up for a styalisation of a Blink 182 song, I think it would be rather funny lol.

I too would really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really like a backstage pass...knowing my luck though it won't happen so I'm not gettin' my hopes up.

Phrase of the day: "Cock knocker" as said by someone on some message board describing Noel or Liam Gallager(sp?) of Oasis...

I'M ALL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO MORE CALCULAS, CHEMISTRY, OR PHYSICS!!!!!!!!!!

DELPHINO - I love Vai's music. I think why some people have a problem with is the use of dissonence and the quantity of notes. We as musicians are more accustomed to these but the general population is not. I remember in theory class having the instructor tell us not to introduce too many themes and try to resolve most chords.

In regards to that other site, screw'em, we're glad to have you.

BRO AL I don't know if dropping your pants is the best way to get tickets.

How's Irish to learn? I would like to learn to hold a halfway decent conversation with someone.

DID I MENTION I'M DONE? BRING ON THE SUMMER AND 65HR WORK WEEKS!! WOOHOOO!!!

I'm a bit of a dumbass when it comes to music theory, but I'm getting there with help from Master Yoda...

Anywayz, just wondering I've heard of polyrhythms...I have no idea what they are though...they sound really interesting though.

I've had a crushing reality check...looking at all the young talent around, I think that I will have a pretty slim chance of becoming as successful as Satch or Vai when it comes to getting fans and tours and endorsements and so on :-(

civ Thanks man, means a lot to me, I'm kinda down at the moment as you can probably tell.

The Forgotten (Part 2) For G3!

civgeek, no probs dude. these english-to-english translations may be useful someday! hehe
thanks guys on the congrats for aftershow! hehe.

dragonchild, yeah I was wondering that, but I can only assume the aftershow pass means you get to go and see whoever happens to be in the mood for talkin half an hour after the show finishes. But hey, i've heard Mr Sheehan is most talkative, and we all know he's dead funny, so whatever happens, it should be cool!

Delfino, ouch, sorry to hear your guitar decided to bite back! b*st*rd things! hehe. go and soothe the pain by taking a spin on Project Gotham 2! I just got it yesterday......kick-ass!

polyrhythms? i can only assume that's more than one rhythm being played together. you know mobile phones, right? there's were those with mono-phonic tones, which is where you get a single note.

Polyphonic tones are where it actually plays different notes. poly is 'more than one' - a Polygon is a number of lines/angles to denote a shape.

Artanis I, yeah we use footpath in the UK too, only it tends to be more commonly used if the path is detached from a road. if a roadway has a footpath running alongside it it's a pavement; if a woods or a park has a marked pathway through it, it's a footpath!
mikesb, that brit lady in reference is Anne Robinson!
Clarky, I can't stand the term 'axe' either......it sounds like a name people would use when they 'play' a guitar but actually know jack-sh*t about it!
Jimmy Franklin, graphics on your PRS wouldn't increase the value of it. And since it's a guitar, and a costly one too, then you're gonna find that if you ever want to re-sell it, it's not going to earn you much money anyway. guitars are like that.
tamino, damn, i'm sorry to hear of the dirty theft of your father's livelihood. theives are scum, and it angers me that so little effort is made by police forces to combat theft and burglary, because they're too busy fannying about stopping motorists who are driving 2 mph over the speed limit! I sincerely hope you guys can get back on your feet again and at least some of those possessions are recovered. Let us know what happens :)
Ovation1, haha, sure I'll tell Steve "Mikey DeRossa says he wants Fire Strings on DVD!!" (I think I got your surname right?!? sorry man....i'll feel bad if i'm wrong!)
juju, I can imagine the headline - 99.5 'The Mountain' breaks mould and plays real music on-air! read the full story on page 4! Well done to 99.5, it's cool to hear that these things sometimes get played in the US!
24 Fret, no it's not exactly like a letter in a "dear abby" column, cuz you got people here who can listen and try to help you out, so feel free to talk with us if you like! I'm sorry to hear you lost your girlfriend.....that's got to hurt.....I lost my dad nearly a year ago (and I never touched drugs in my life!)

I can recommend trying to do some of the normal things in your life.....don't stop and drop everything to grieve cause you'll make yourself depressed, and that is probably not the sort of attention this person would want......most people don't like the idea of that degree of focus being put on them! Take it easy, hope you sort out a place to stay!

OCPS470, Jenniffer in a metal band? not that I heard, but I could be well off the mark. I thought she basically went straight into the Michael Jackson thing!

Tastey: Scott Weiland used to be so healthy like a pink maxipad. Now he looks like a bloody tampon. I guess all that heroine really helped him loose weight since he is such a fashion junkie. But Velvet revolvers new cd is pretty damn good. You should give it a listen. Its a combo between stp and gnr. of course!

just checked out the rehearsal photos on the site. man, Matt Bissonette has a new look everytime I see him, he looks like a different person (I am obviously exagerating). I cant wait until Joe hits the west coast this December for the Evening With JS tour, that will be sweet if I get to see it.
