The Forgotten (Part 2) and Speed Of Light for G3!
tetovo, why do you not think the random drawing process is fair? I think it's possibly the fairest way of doing it, cause it means nobody can be accused of being biased. I think everyone deserves the same opportunity, but it'd suck if the random system randomly selected the same person every time!
dragonchild, haha, that's excellent about Mari gettin those passes. That's the sort of thing sahe needed just to make her trip perfect! great news! thanks for the update!
iplayalilbit, there's a guitar academy of some kind in Los Angeles. The syllabus for the course run there was written by Mr Frank Gambale, so I'd recommend finding out more about that - that'll teach you a thing or two
TheBob, i found it pretty easy to learn some basic drum, stuff. it's good fun - if you have a good natural sense of rhythm then you'll be okay with it.
Secret Prayer, Ceremony and The Crush of Love for G3 Ljubljana!
anybody watched any of the LeMans 24hrs coverage? yesterday evening two of the Audi R8 protos went off-track on some oil, in a 200mph corner, and hit the wall. Both had extensive damage to their front-left suspension and wheels, and to the front and rear bodywork.
They both managed to limp back to the pits where their teams removed and replaced the cowling and the suspension, in just half an hour! these guys are crazy! Alan McNish got concussed in the accident tho.

Oh k, i'm all new here, so be nice! I joined because it's coming up to G3 and i thought this would be the best place to come and talk about my favourite guitarist! Not really sure how this place works yet, so i'll just post this and see what happens.
One thing i have to say however, is that i Love Train of Angels, and i'd love to hear it live!
anyway, hello everyone!

Mmmm, Beer....Me so thirsty.....
I just downloaded the whole Metallica in Madison show from LiveMetallica.com. Bastards. Ripped me off. 10 dollars for downloading the show on mp3. No Video, just music. Assholes. But it sounds pretty good. Professional quality. Thats the best part. I still wanna kick Lars's ass though. Now they have a Video game coming out next year. Pussies.
Anyone going to the MN Metallica show in August?

My T-shirt says "Tony Likes Hob Nobs"
we were ona vacation before jus my friends and we were all in an apartment and tony who isnt in the pic - we put loads of hob nobs (which are like cookies) crumbled up in his bedsheets, and he got really pissed off, so the next day we all got t-sirts printed up sayin that "" and we got like 7 complaints for being loud on the first night the apartment was in tony's name so he kept getting into trouble, it was a really funny week! and loads of other stuff hapened!
And jazzy boy,
He's wearing a cup, so his buldge looks bigger! it looked mad funny theres other pics but i didnt see them and of corse the video!
we actually palyed it very well, and i think were doin a gig soon!

michelle: lol on the bass drum pedal.... A good exercise to start of with is a nice little roll exercise.... In beats of 4.... On the snare (1,2,3,4) to the tom (1,2,3,4) to the floor tom (1,2,3,4) and finish it with a bass drum kick.... Dadadada, dadadada, dadadada, boom.... lol, put on that mean face and then (one hit for each) bass drum, floor tom (right hand) and with your left hand switch between the snare and tom all in one fluid motion.... Should be 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3 and play around with it and get the rhythm down and wail away!!.... Fun stuff and a great way to start!! :-)
Jazzy Boy: lol, I'm not off the boat Italian, but my Dad's side is 100% and my Mom's is Irish and German, lol, I think Dr. VAI explained it best when he was talking about touring Italy (I believe the notes are from the sleeve of AIAUW) : He said that they may call me the Italian virtuoso, and as much as I may try to act like it or want to be, I realise that I am American..
Which has it's own culture of sorts.... lol, read the liner notes for his full description.... Although, I do talk with my hands alot, which is a great habit I adopted from my wonderful Grandma from Palermo and Grampa from Sicily.... None & Nono ;-)
slanshroom: Your hard work has paid off bro!!.... More gear!!
lol, and as long as the girl is good with it, Wohooo!! ;-) LMAO
on the dude that told you to wait your turn on your Park amp head, lol!!.... Dude.... I'm the same way when it comes to the music stores.... That ego guitarist mentality just turns me off, lol, that's why I visit them when everyones at work, or else I bring a bud with me, lol.... Get some rest bro, and plug and play when your VG88 comes in!! :-)
962: lol man, on the 24hr Lemans race!!.... Sounds like it was brutal!!....
Smalldude: Welcome to the SatchRealm!!.... btw, got to this page of the site and list yourself as attending the particular show that you are going too.... You are automatically then entered in the drawing for a backstage pass.... And you can invite a guest if you win!!.... Good Luck!!
:-)

I downloaded the entire bootleg video for free of metallica 20th december at earls court, couldn't see myself tho, i was too near the front :D. Seriously i was too near, it was painful to be crushed by 1000's on to a metal barrier with only a bag with a jumper inside it infront of you. Got an incredible view though.

I just got my Satch tickets for the Greek Theatre show in Los Angeles... I went through Ticketmaster...
I'm in the third section back (including the pit), about 46 rows from the stage. I'm on the outside of Joe's side, about even with the speakers on that side of the stage...I have the two seats on the outside end of the row in the right-center section...
These are worse than I've ever had before for Joe, but they're better than when I saw Deep Purple and The Scorpions at this venue a few years back.
Overall, I guess I'm happy with the seats. I'd like to be closer, but it's cool that I'm sorta in the center (although if I were one more seat to the side I would be in another section that isn't near the center).
Is anyone else here going to this show? Post a message here or drop me an email and maybe we can meet up.
...Austin...
