hey guys... don't you think that around 2:50 The Mighty Turtle Head has the same sound and feel as Bamboo does at around 3:00? only doesn't last as long? and Bamboo fits better?
I just got my copy of Time Machine after a week and two day wait. I'm liking it! I think Dreaming #11 has one of the kickin'est grooves ever!

I just watched Wrong Turn on NTL's movie channel. I thought it was going to be the most God awful film in the entire universe, but it wsn't that bad. Great gore and very entertainig. And Eliza Dushka is so hot she makes my eyes burn...

The Story Begins... Once upon a time there was a Me, now me was very curious and a few months ago took the pickguard of his strat copy guitar and accidentally befuddled-confuddled and completely f*cked up the pickups...months later me decided to fix them after gaining the knowledge of how...so me fixed them and fixed them good. Me then put them to a height that me thought wud benefit rhythm guitar playing...me then re-strung the guitar...all was fine until...me got to the high E string...round and round the peghead went...suddenly SNAP...me was almost blinded as the string hit him in the face...with blood dripping off his cheek me could only think..."you absolute bastard...and to think i was gonna keep you forever!".
Oh yea me also found a paint chip...adding insult to injury.
Moral of the story: When stringing a guitar don't be an ass...like me was.

DELPHINO - You can't post things like that because the people in charge will deem guitars a saftey hazzard and take them away like lawn darts!!
( long sigh) I miss lawn darts.
I know, I know, you people under 35 are thinking "What the hell are lawn darts?" Let me tell ya they were fun and you're missing out!!

Joe: New advances in playing have been found at a guitar teaching site. I love rockhousemethod.com ! Now Steven and I can jam and practice leadwork, while the net does the rhythm. Almost like jammin' to your cd! I have also been collecting pictuers for our web site(if we ever get the help we need to make one). Hope you are not traveled out..you seem to have quite a full schedule. God bless. Randell
P.S. Steven may have to move..which means a bigger studio for us to put together. I love it. I registered for a membership at D'Addario.com. My pass word does not work! And they sent it to me. Hey Mike: Matt, Ricky, etc.

migupais - Hi...it's nice to see you here again. :-)
georen09 - It would be very cool to have Tim Reynolds on a G3 tour. I don't think he'd fit well with Joe AND Steve, though... Joe, Tim, and someone else would be good. I'd say Robert Fripp but Tim sorta does the same stuff that he does, so I don't know...
Brother al - On this site, the winners are emailed three days before their show... I don't know how things work over at http://www.vai.com/.
death cube k - Cool stuff... :-)

Do The Stu - so far she seems to like Lifestyle, Souls of Distortion, and Bamboo (which btw reminds me of Pink Floyd's Marooned off of the album Division Bell - exactly the same "sound") She seems to like it when I singalong with Lifestyle, I guess I'll have to bust out FIABD so she can hear Big Bad Moon, she'll probably love it! ;O)
alexandrecaetano - Thanks for the advice, I totally agree flash pictures suck not to mention that it can't be good for her eyes. I try to take as many no-flash shots as I can but I can't convince the Mrs. to go along with it. ;O)
michelle - Thank you very much, we sure think she's the sweetest thing. I find myself sometimes just staring blankly at her, it's like I'm lost or something until wifey says "snap outta it" or something. ;O)
Thanks to everyone who visited Anne's Page! and for all the wonderfull feedback.
Does anyone know how old ZZ is?
smooches,

mikesb - bat.. lmao.. that is what I call guitars.. lol... I always hated the slang term "axe"... "dude.. seen me new axe?" just sounds so poxy... I preferred "dude.. seen me new bat?"..
most often though my guitars are 'my gilries'..
zen - I never really got into The Doors... no idea why.. they just didn't do it for me...
you every checked out Legrene.. the mad French jazzer... I haven't heard any of his stuff for years and years.. and then the other day a track of his was played on the radio.. I'd simply forgoten what a beautiful and stylish player his is..
civgeek - no I think about it... I've not had time to do any kind of jamming with me.. up to and including playing the organ.. lol..
jonprince - yeah I like the mel min modes too.. they seem to have a sort of detatched quality.. as if they are "out but in".. like they're begging to resolve to something but never do so they 'float'.... but when you do eventually resolve them to something nice and safe the music almost takes a great sigh of relief.. like leaping onto a nice firm shore after spending way too long out in a rough sea..
