Mike....happy birthday Bro'...I hope you have a hundred more......go out and have a few drinks...let someone else drive. Make sure you post here tomorrow so we know you survived the night ;) Hell...us Irish folk can drink anyone under the table so maybe you'll be driving everyone else home..lol.

Ahh Jazzy Boy...its always nice to know that you'll be here to pick a fight. Fortunately, regardless of what anyone thinks about what I said, it's still "freedom of speech". That's why I love this place so much......Peace Bro' !

Brother Al......pre-birthday wishes to you ! Have a great B-Day !

suppadave: You can look at it as a fight if you want to, not my fault. I am discussing, but knowing my past reputation as a fighter cock, you are more than welcome to take advantage of it. And its easy to say "freedom of speech" when you cannot come up with a solid argument. Fine, scapegoat me again for starting a fight. But I think I was expecting a better response from you. End of discussion. :-)

Also, not everyone is strongly comitted to freedom of speech when it comes to other people. We are all built on double standards. Its human.

brother al: good to know its your birthday soon. Join the drinking clan, brother. And dont drink and drive, you miight spill.

Alexandre: Hows it going? :-)

you're just about there. E B F# G A B is the first part (assuming it starts on E, i didn't check).
C A D E F# G, C A D E F# G F# is the second part, again, assuming the starting note is E.

Jazzy boy no I dont have a problem. take it easy man. you said to stop talking about religion cause it was boring and suggested that we tell dirty jokes so I asked you to tell us a good one. and you said something about hip hop and i was wondering if you liked it because you are a Satch fan and the few Satch fans that i know, and the few people I know who play guitar hate it. it is kinda a wierd mix of music. so I was just wondering. I just told you I hate it becasue I was on the subject and my friends say that I am racist for hating hip hop and rap so I figured I would tell you that I wasnt before hand so that if you thought maybe that was a possibility then now you dont have to say it. no big deal really, just conversation. I have no problem whatsoever. so....

Do the Stu you probably did but I just forgot. a lot of stuff to remember. anyway, thats cool.

Supaa Dave I agree with you. it is a disgrace. how can people even call it music? and so many of them like it!! it makes me angry! I have been trying to turn some people I know into 'rockers' but its not happening. oh well, let em rot in ther jewelry, Joe and such are the true musicians. they and us actually have a love for music too, rather than the fame or whatever they like. anyway, I agree with you and good point.

JS_JS: I never mentioned Hip Hop. You brought it up because you have some prejudices. Anyways, why dont you tell some black dudes hip hop sucks and they can rot in their jewellery. Also, they may have issues with rock music....like you know, Tommy lee using the n word, and since you like rock (or you claim to), they might call you racist. Just watch what you say.

I dont mind ridiculing some people about their fancy clothing, but when some like you, a conservative and homophobic person says something like this, I think of the word "racist."

Well, you are conservative and homophobic. Dont deny it. You said it.

mattw - I don't know...it might become available after the tour...

DelfinoPie - 22 degrees C isn't hot... ;-) That's only about 71 degrees F... It's usually over 90 degrees F (30 degrees C) here in California in the summer...
NItefly Rob - Steve Morse has such a busy schedule...it seems that he can never do a G3 tour because he's either on the road with Deep Purple or just got off the road with Deep Purple.

I have a feeling this Satch / Deep Purple tour is a compromise... It's sorta like a G3 tour because I bet they'll do a lot of jamming together over the course of the tour...

bubbles - SupaaDave on this site quit smoking a year or two ago (How long has it been, Dave?)... I'm sure he can give you a few tips... He actually changed his username on the site to NonSmoker for the first few months... ;-)

If you ever run into any problems in the days to come, just post 'em here...we'll be able to help you out.

Jazzy Boy - Geezer Butler played bass for Black Sabbath and (for a short time) Ozzy.

"We are all built on double standards. Its human."

Explain.

SupaaDave - Have you seen Kid Rock live? I saw him open for Aerosmith in 2002...he put on a GREAT show. He opened with a cover of Led Zeppelin's Rock And Roll that was very cool.

I don't really like Kid Rock's music, but I had a lot of fun during his show.

mick87 - Happy birthday! :-)
ovation1 - I just thought I'd let you know that I caught your grammar mistake before you edited it... ;-)

Do the Stu: Heres the explanation. When I went off on Vai a long time back, SuppaDave posted a negative comment. When he posted against hip hop, I said I did not agree. So suppadave expects me not to bitch about Vai, and I expect him not to bitch about hip hop. So we have double standards here. Its human to be hyocrytical.

Is the explanation ok, greatest Satch fanboy?

btw, I'm glad I fixed the mistake and didnt leave it there, lol!! ;-)

Jazzy Boy: I like all music cept' old country lol, and Hip Hop and R&B are great, especially when a guitar is added!!.... Look at the Isley Brothers.... Perfect example....

Just like to say that I'm new here, and generally a metalhead. My favorite bands include Metallica, Megadeth (I've got tattoos), Mudvayne, GNR, Maiden, etc.. But Joe is absolutely the best guitarist ever. Being a drummer myself, I think Jeff Campitelli is very underrated and awesome. Anyways, keep it up Joe, and ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS FOR A SATCH TATTOO? Rock on.

DO THE STU - Who in England knows what HOT is. Didn't they just have the first 100 degree day in London history last summer? Hot ha!!

PASTEL BLACK - There a few country guys that rip it up. Ricky Scaggs, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson's guitar player is good.( I don't recall his name). There are a few more, I'll reley them as they pop into my head.

Do The Stu I used to live in Cyprus where an average day was around 87-90 degrees...but that was years ago...I think my body has adapted to UK weather so any day where the sun is out is a hot day over here ;-)

Civgeek I think I might have got you and 962 confused on the Ergo thing, its an Ibanez series of guitar, ti's very niiice indeed. I might have got you confused over that question as well...I was beaming with happiness yesterday so it probably reflected off my computer screen and into my eyes lol Do you play Project Gotham 2 on the xbox? if not then sorry dude I got confuzzled :-)

At 4am I woke up and I had a sharp pain in my chest (a good heart attack maybe lol). But then I had a burning sensation in my nose...I couldn't do anything about it either lying there...so I went to the bathroom got some tissue and blew it...it still burnt, so i continued to blow my nose...after 5-6 tries i finished blowing my nose because what came out scared the gizzards out of me. A...dead....spider.

I read somewhere that in a lifetime a human swallows an average of 7-10 spiders...but how many do they have crawl up their nose? lol

Brother Al Happy 18th man...I read your post wrong and thought you said you were getting a hay-stack lol.

Quito: not in the flesh. I know he's a brilliant player, but I don't think heaps of drums and stuff makes much sense. I'm not a big fan of that kind of thing. I've seen impressive drumming involving a 4-piece kit with hi-hats, a ride and a crash cymbal. Plus moving it around sucks the bees elbows.

edit: I mean having to pack up, shift and set up - not spinning in a circle!

Ovation: see above.

Delfino: yuck. Don't tell Michelle, she won't sleep ever again!

Temperatures: every country outside the USA uses the Celsius scale (the one that is based on the SI unit Kelvin). I do however know that 32 F is 0 C, 104 F is around 40 C I think. 22 Celsius isn't much in some places. Good old Darwin has 30 C in winter. It does however depend upon humidity too. Some places feel hot at 25 degrees, and some feel cold.

Anyone else noticed on the G3 DVD bonus bit the track on Steve's DVD "Blood and Gory"?!

I agree - it's as if the coming tour with them is the closest you can get to having two out of my three favourite guitarists on stage together! If only Steve Vai was going too!!

Jazzy Boy - Please stop the namecalling. This isn't kindergarten.

"Is the explanation ok"

No it isn't, as it doesn't really explain anything.

Your original comment:

"We are all built on double standards. Its human."

After that, you said:

"So we have double standards here. Its human to be hyocrytical."

Saying all people are built on double standards is completely different than saying there are double standards here on T2J.

Explain how being hypocritical is "human".

ovation1 - " in the Beach Cities area you dont need an a/c at all!"

Yeah, that's true... When I'm in Long Beach it will occasionally reach 90, but it's still breezy so it isn't bad. I'm near Sacramento now, though...a few hours inland. It's HOT. ;-)

Delfino Pie - "I read somewhere that in a lifetime a human swallows an average of 7-10 spiders"

I think your numbers are a little high...I've heard around 5-7. That's not much better, but still... ;-)

Artanis I - LOL...no, I didn't catch that... I almost like that title more than the original.
Nitefly Rob - I know everyone you mentioned except for Jimmy Barnes... Who is he / who has he played with? That lineup sounds killer...have they recorded anything?
