Delfino, yeah I saw the end of that thing about the 101 weirdest things removed from the human body. The 101st was f*cking sick, I so nearly lurched! It was a pretty funny show tho. Shame I only saw the last ten!

Master Yoda, no not XXX, go for the H&K Tri-Amp instead! hehe, I can't express how cool H&K's sound!
edit: SOTD, Eastern Flier ~ Igor Belsky. You guys have to check out Igor's stuff, he's awesome!

If you are out there Joe??

I'd like to say that you are the man. Thanks for showing the rest of the world how to play guitar!!! I'd love to see Indianapolis, IN show up on the tour page sometime soon!! I was lucky enough to meet you at Guitar Works in Greenwood, IN in May 2004. I didn't win a ticket to the little show you did b4 the autograph and picture session. So, I'm still waiting to see you live sometime!! The girlfriend and I have our pictures with you framed and hanging in my guitar room and are still very grateful to you for making it possible to get to meet you!! You are a total class act and please keep making music!! P.S. I put a Dimarzio "Fred" DP153 pickup in a $100.00 Strat and wow is it smoking now!!!!!

962 - lol man, I'm just trying to exhaust every single possiblity! I want an amp that makes me go "Shiiiiiiiiiit!". I haven't tried a TriAmp yet, so if it does that then great. But for now I want to try out everything that seems even slightl suitable.

Mater Yoda, hehe, yeah I know.....obviously, you choose whatever you want. Although I would say, if were to buy, for example, a Mesa Boogie, and then try an H&K, i'd probably find myself going "shiiiiit!"

Of course, it's dependent on what kind of tone you want, but the classic H&K distortion is the sort that you can't help but grin at!

Peavey seems cool tho, especially for rhythm tone - Joe's new tone is great when he plays rhythm!

Orzar - G3 2004 will be in South America later this year.

alexandrecaetano - Thanks for sharing the pictures... :-)
Dev - "he seems to think he's too good to make a stand in front of the audience"

That's not true.

"As far as I'm concerned, if you're on a G3 tour, you should play your ASS off!"

You're not on a G3 tour. Robert Fripp is. He can do what he wants to do.

"Isn't the point of these shows to serve the guitar up on a silver platter?!?!"

I thought G3 was about music.

novjul - "I would also disagree about song lengths"

I guess I'm not saying that all long songs are progressive, I'm saying that progressive songs are usually not short. Maybe that makes more sense? I dunno...LOL.

"I suspect it's the kind of thing where "I know it when I hear it", am I right?"

Yeah, if you don't to get into the technical stuff, most people know blues when they hear it.

"How can a song BE (or be called) "progressive" if it doesn't SOUND "progressive"?"

Songs can be complex, but deceptive...so they seem simple to the average passive listener when in reality there is a lot of different stuff going on. There's a better way to explain this, but I can't think of the right words now. I guess it's sorta like how one person might look at the Mona Lisa and say "Big deal...it's just a painting of a person.", but someone else who looks at it closer would sees all of the golden ratios hidden throughout the picture and realize that it's so much more than "just a person".

michelle - Yeah? What if it was about spider burgers? ;-)

I completely forgot that Joe's birthday is coming up...LOL. It's good that you're on top of things.

jblaze - Okay, I misunderstood where you were going with what you said... I get it now though, and I see your point...

...Austin...

I'm desperatly in need of the Guitar One's top 10 fastest shredders of all time list...my friend said Paul Gilbert was 2nd...I'm almost 100% certain he wasn't...and neither of us are prepared to back down...i know Michael Angelo Batio was first, and Yngwie was 3rd...so if anyone knows where i can find the list (google just comes up with a load of interviews with "the great kat")....it would be very much appreciated...

----------ATTENTION!!-------------

Government Warning regarding purchase of UPS uniforms: There has been a huge purchase, $32,000 worth, of United Parcel Service (UPS) uniforms on eBay over the last 30 days.

This could represent a serious threat as bogus drivers (terrorists) can drop off anything to anyone with deadly consequences! If you have ANY questions when a UPS driver appears at your door, they should be able to furnish VALID I.D. Additionally, if someone in a UPS uniform comes to make a drop off or pick up, make absolutely sure they are driving a UPS truck. UPS doesn't make deliveries or pickups in anything, except a company vehicle. If you have a problem, IMMEDIATELY call your local law enforcement agency right away! , TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! Tell everyone in your office, your family, your friends, etc. Make people aware so that we can prepare and/or avoid terrorist attacks on our people! Thank you for your time in reviewing this and PLEASE send to EVERYONE on your list, even if they are friend or foe. We should all be aware!
