Did anyone see the "Chrome Boy" Satch Model on ebay? It seems to be in excellent condition. It has Joe's autograph on the back. It is currently selling for $4,500.00. Just thought I would pass it along for that serious guitar collector. Too rich for my blood. Still, would be an awesome axe to own.

Thanx 4 the response. I figured thats what he was doing...but I did'nt think he hit the open B string. I'll have to try it. I guess this explains when I tried the open high E, it never seemed to work very well. I never thought of trying the open B. Hummm....interesting. Thanx.

I don't think that will ever happen. Although it would be cool as hell. But Eddie usually doesn't do anything outside of Van-Halen...at least that's what I've always read. But I guess anythings possible.

Chuck Joseph..........Hey remember to slightly touch the string at or near where the 24th fret would be, just pass the end of the neck. This will make the pitch harmonic, then pull up on the whammy bar. This will work with other strings in other positions also. You may want to read my post again, I may have left somethings out here.
Peace..................Clint

chris, i'll get a bassline goin for ya soon enough. i've just had troubles getting the spare time to record something. i should be able to get you something rough before the end of the month. stuff's kinda busy around here for the time being.
edit: dude, you look way older on your workshops page. lol. the background outline on your front page makes you look really young.

STuClone: you callin' me an old fart? haha!
Chuck Joseph: Here's what Joe is doing in detail. with your right hand strike a pinch harmonic on the open "G" string directly over the position of a middle pickup (strat). Make sure that you are muting all other strings with your right hand (because the left can't help out because it will need to be on the whammy bar) ...I usually use my middle and ring fingers to mute the "E" and "B" strings when I do this technique. While doing the pinch harmonic, use your left hand to depress, then pull the bar all the way up to create the sqealing effect. I can't stress enough that if all of the strings other than the "G" are not tightly muted out, open strings will ring killing the harmonic. Hope this helps

jelly man - Have you heard EJ's first album, with the band The Electromagnets? I have a feeling you'll like it more than the stuff you've heard from Ah Via Musicom.
Click here for sound clips from the entire album, or click here to download two MP3s from the album from EJ's site.
The entire album is awesome...it's one of my all-time favorites. Minus Mufflers is my favorite song on the album...the CD Universe sound clip of it sucks, though.
Let me know if you like what you hear. If you want, drop me an email and I can send you an MP3 of one of the songs (if you want to hear one of them from start to finish). I really think you'll enjoy this album...
The Godfather Of Guitar - No, there isn't a CD or DVD for the G3 2001 tour.
GODGUNSGUITARS - Cool...I'm glad you liked Rush In Rio. :-)
JS JS - Welcome back...
Killjoys revolt - Joe uses a DigiTech whammy pedal for that part of Searching.
...Austin...
