962-Simon.......very nice axe...I've always loved the white Jem. Why do you want to part with such a beautiful guitar?

Michelle....congrats on the new car.....I've been considering a new car for my girlfriend so she can get around after our baby is born. I had to laugh at the new Kia commercial on the radio....."Two Kia's for the price of one"......it's like buying hamburger buns....lol !! How about naming your car "Cactus Satch"? lol ;)

hey guys... sorry I can't read what I've missed, I'm really really busy.... only now I'm busier cos dck threw a spanner into my works!!! j/k bro!

/\/\ark said he'd posted, so hopefully you know what I'm talking about here....

THE T2J CD WILL BE AVAILABLE VERY SOON. I'm throwing together the bits and pieces right now, but I really need an up-to-date website and email addy per contributor as it's going into the CD booklet. The retail price will be $12.99US, and each CD will make four US dollars for the International Red Cross. Don't forget there are other T2J-related goodies over at the Official Talk2Joe Shop!

Have fun guys, and thanks for being so patient!

On other matters, I hope you are all well, and my regulars - you know who you are - hey! hi!

Take care guys, and Joe - sorry I missed you in England this time! Next time I have a feeling it'll be stateside! :-)

later all, stay cool, Dave :-)

by the way, if you need my email, just head on over to Talk2Joe.com ;-)

GODGUNSGUITARS, congrats on getting the first G3 DVD! Hope you're enjoying.....I personally think it's the best, especially EJ's set!

Supaadave, cause however nice it is (and it is nice, it's a great guitar) I need something more acutely tuned to my needs. To elaborate, I need more of a hybrid-type guitar, which is why i'm going to replace it with a fat strat. Then I can exploit the massive variety of tones you get from one guitar, which is far more convenient and economical.

I tried an American Deluxe strat on thursday. It's the one with the S1 switch. It's damn impressive, it has to be said. Also, i like american build-quality. Fender is always going to make better guitars than Ibanez, not because Ibanez are really bad, although they do have their faults, but because Fender simply has the experience, and 1100 pounds-worth of strat is as good as 1800 pounds-worth of Jem!

I dunno....there's lots of reasons! I have no money right now, so the only way to get the strat is to sell them Jem. If I had the spare cash, believe me, i'd think differently! The Jem also brings it's own sort of bad attention - I don't like people pre-judging me to be a "vai clone" just cause I play a Jem.....it's really irritating.

Master Yoda - I've moved around a lot, so I've had my share of bad neighbors. It's annoying, but I guess it can be fun at the same time (and it looks like you have figured out the "fun" part). Let us know if any other, ummm, interesting stuff happens to your neighbors in the future... ;-)

Greg M - "I thought that Bono wouldn't be quite as cheesy in real life as he was on the simpsons...but actually, he was!"

LOL... He's not that bad on the DVD...

And...I'm not from the UK, but man...that "Preparing For Emergencies" link was funny. Thanks for sharing it. ;-)

berns1 - Joe just did a G3 tour in Europe. He hasn't toured in the US for about a year.
GODGUNSGUITARS - I'm not sure if Ted Nugent, AC/DC, or Pink Floyd have any live DVDs... I like all of those bands, but I don't have all of their CDs (or any DVDs) because they aren't my top favorites.

Can anyone else here help with that question?

Ya Yo Gakk - Can you email me the link that you used to save it? Thanks...

...Austin...

GodGunsGuitars yeah, I am gonna wait for the solo tour. I would love to see Joe anytime but I cant afford to see him now and for the solo tour, I want to see him solo more anyway. but I wish I could go, believe me.

962 lol, thanks man. you do have a point I guess. ha ha. that is funny.

Greg - Oh, God yes! You know, when every house gets a booklet like that through the letter box it must mean the shit's about to hit the fan or something, right?

Delfino - Hmm, interesting idea... lol

Do The Stu - Oh, yeah, absolutely. We're having a blast with them. The fact that they are so uninteliigent makes them really easy to 'beat'. The funniest thing was when another housmate of mine (who's left now, actually - he's finished his degree) was extraordinarily friendly toward them. We were in our garden one evening and they were in theirs, so Sam went up to the fence and said "Good evening guys! How are you all today? I hope you're well!" Needless to say they were caught off guard a little... lmao

AUSTIN - i guess luini and co don't like the fact that fans may save videos of joe....posted on joe's own site. with quicktime pro you can save the entire video if the author of the video allows you to do so needless to say the author did not allow it, we might sell the video afterall.... anyhow after using about 5 different stream recorders and finding that none of them worked on the rtsp protocol i went to my last resort --- RiverPast Screen Recorder .... it allows you to select a region on your screen to record to a video file (w/audio) using whichever video codec you want, but due to some video card's using hardware overlay (video is sent straight to the card to play using card's power instead of being sent through OS layer) you have to go to quicktime preferences and select "safe mode (GDI only)" and it will then play through the OS layer and allow riverpast to record it... i used divx 5.1 and it worked awesome, looked exacly like the stream did... if you need a serial # for either divx or riverpast email me.... vairox@hotmail.com ....that goes for anyone....theres no point in keeping people from saving the webcast, plain retarded... whats next...key2audio?

962.....you are right about the vai-clone thing...although none of my friends would ever figure out I was playing a signature guitar....they just don't get out enough..lol. Anyhow...you are making an excellent choice as far as a replacement...Strats are tone machines. I just picked up a Mex-Strat with a flame maple top for almost half of what it costs right out of the factory. I am having some issues with tuning at the moment though. I'll be all tuned up nice and suddenly the B or the high E string will be severely sharp....so I'll tune it back down and the next thing you know it's way flat....I'm thinking that the tuning keys are crap or it's binding somewhere....it's frustrating because I'm running out of ideas on how to cure it. Hope you get a fair price for your Jem...I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had the $$$.
