Hi there Satchaholics! Hope all of you have had a nice weekend! Tomorrow I head back to work after three weeks of vacation, which sucks, but not as much as I thought it would. Only problem is I'll be on a more permanent vacation from September 1st if I don't find another job quick! lol! I've got a thing in pipeline though and hopefully I get it sorted within a few weeks...

alexandre Hope you're feeling better soon! :)

ovation Have you seen or heard of a movie called Spirited Away? It's a Japanese animated movie about the girl Chihiro who has to work for a witch in order to save her parents. I've seen it twice and it's soooooooo beautiful... I love it!

michelle Congrats on the new car! Maybe you could call it Lima Bean lol! Sorry I haven't written you back, it's been quite busy over here! The Pride festival was just in town and I watched their parade yesterday, it’s usually pretty fun. You’re bound to think at least twice: “What on earth is he wearing? And in that color?” or “Err… nice non-clothing…” LOL! But it wasn't as much nudity as last year, hardly any topless at all. Last year it was A LOT topless and even one or two naked guys lol! It was especially funny last year b/c we had an elderly couple from the US here as visitors, and we were curious how they would react. They didn't seem to mind it that much, although the wife later told me that she'd been afraid to take pictures because she feared her camera might have broken! LMAO! They were very cute. :)

Do the Stu - I appreciate you checking out my song bro thanks!

Alexandre Caetano- I hope you did not injure yourself at the Bodyboarding competition. BTW I saw that video of Goncalo, and I saw you in there! Great Job that was real cool to see you on a music video.

Michelle Congrats on the new Ride. I know you are excited, I can't wait until its time to replace my 1986 Chevy Celebrity with something fresh. Its a great car though. 375,000 miles and still going strong.

Master Yoda LOL now I'm completely against breaking and entering..HOWEVER with people like that, wait till they go out and pick their front door lock, go in the house and put prawns along the tops of their curtain rails...give it a week and their house will stink and I mean baaaaaaaad!

Usually I would use that as a house warming gift to the next person moving into a house im leaving, that and the ol' cling film over the toilet bowl ruitine lol.

Michelle Congratulations on the new car =)...I should be applying for my license soon...then I have to pay an ass load on insurance because I'm under 23 or whatever age it is where you get to pay sensible insurance.

berns1, what? Joe has just left europe! G3 just finished, and while Vai has veered off to cover asia and Australia, Joe has gone back to the US to do his tour/evening-with season. There were 5 and a 1/2 weeks to catch him in europe!

Don't worry, i'm sure he'll be back pretty soon!

Zenfish i think you could play like SRV. but instead of saying its easy for you toplay like SRV, you could say your playing is very influenced by SRV.. it sounds less arrogant that way.. on the GT2J thing cool idea perhaps we will have one in canada....

hey guys... sorry I can't read what I've missed, I'm really really busy.... only now I'm busier cos dck threw a spanner into my works!!! j/k bro!

/\/\ark said he'd posted, so hopefully you know what I'm talking about here....

THE T2J CD WILL BE AVAILABLE VERY SOON. I'm throwing together the bits and pieces right now, but I really need an up-to-date website and email addy per contributor as it's going into the CD booklet. The retail price will be $12.99US, and each CD will make four US dollars for the International Red Cross. Don't forget there are other T2J-related goodies over at the Official Talk2Joe Shop!

Have fun guys, and thanks for being so patient!

On other matters, I hope you are all well, and my regulars - you know who you are - hey! hi!

Take care guys, and Joe - sorry I missed you in England this time! Next time I have a feeling it'll be stateside! :-)

later all, stay cool, Dave :-)

by the way, if you need my email, just head on over to Talk2Joe.com ;-)

GODGUNSGUITARS, congrats on getting the first G3 DVD! Hope you're enjoying.....I personally think it's the best, especially EJ's set!

Supaadave, cause however nice it is (and it is nice, it's a great guitar) I need something more acutely tuned to my needs. To elaborate, I need more of a hybrid-type guitar, which is why i'm going to replace it with a fat strat. Then I can exploit the massive variety of tones you get from one guitar, which is far more convenient and economical.

I tried an American Deluxe strat on thursday. It's the one with the S1 switch. It's damn impressive, it has to be said. Also, i like american build-quality. Fender is always going to make better guitars than Ibanez, not because Ibanez are really bad, although they do have their faults, but because Fender simply has the experience, and 1100 pounds-worth of strat is as good as 1800 pounds-worth of Jem!

I dunno....there's lots of reasons! I have no money right now, so the only way to get the strat is to sell them Jem. If I had the spare cash, believe me, i'd think differently! The Jem also brings it's own sort of bad attention - I don't like people pre-judging me to be a "vai clone" just cause I play a Jem.....it's really irritating.

Master Yoda - I've moved around a lot, so I've had my share of bad neighbors. It's annoying, but I guess it can be fun at the same time (and it looks like you have figured out the "fun" part). Let us know if any other, ummm, interesting stuff happens to your neighbors in the future... ;-)

Greg M - "I thought that Bono wouldn't be quite as cheesy in real life as he was on the simpsons...but actually, he was!"

LOL... He's not that bad on the DVD...

And...I'm not from the UK, but man...that "Preparing For Emergencies" link was funny. Thanks for sharing it. ;-)

berns1 - Joe just did a G3 tour in Europe. He hasn't toured in the US for about a year.
GODGUNSGUITARS - I'm not sure if Ted Nugent, AC/DC, or Pink Floyd have any live DVDs... I like all of those bands, but I don't have all of their CDs (or any DVDs) because they aren't my top favorites.

Can anyone else here help with that question?

Ya Yo Gakk - Can you email me the link that you used to save it? Thanks...

...Austin...

Greg - Oh, God yes! You know, when every house gets a booklet like that through the letter box it must mean the shit's about to hit the fan or something, right?

Delfino - Hmm, interesting idea... lol

Do The Stu - Oh, yeah, absolutely. We're having a blast with them. The fact that they are so uninteliigent makes them really easy to 'beat'. The funniest thing was when another housmate of mine (who's left now, actually - he's finished his degree) was extraordinarily friendly toward them. We were in our garden one evening and they were in theirs, so Sam went up to the fence and said "Good evening guys! How are you all today? I hope you're well!" Needless to say they were caught off guard a little... lmao
