jblaze - yup... smut mags... mags with guitar pics... and all the guitars are not wearing any flight cases or gig bags.... lol..

Zen - I checked out mix: 2 of Artaud this morning.. the snare is a tiny bit too low in the mix and one of the snynths is a touch loud and toppy... I'll cut mix:3 tonight... it's almost there..
Yoda - I'll try to sort something around late Oct / early Nov...
cuthbert / 962 - the UK was always a target... UK has it's own sizable nuclear arsenal.. so, being a nuclear power in our own right and also being the USA's #1 ally when the dirty work needs doing, makes us a target anyhow.. so allowing you guys to deploy cruise here [and other stuff like airbases etc] makes no difference.. so far as USSR is concerned, the UK has always been #2 on the NATO shit list...
optical - those mags are full of little tips and stuff... they're worth a look from time to time...

it's cool your pal is surprised at your sound... just goes to show... he don't know much about EQ or parameterics.. lol..

962 - I've no idea about the MIDISPORT... never used one..

Jazzy, no, I didn't read that book. Tommy Lee has always been one of my favorite people, and Vince Neil has redeemed himself over the past year or so. I always thought Nikki Six was hot, and Mick was a great player. - Do you think that if I swamp the Godsmack site with posts asking Sully to say something onstage like "take your bitches home and throw some ass around" that my husband will realize how much he still loves me? lmao! I think somebody's been reading to many romance novels with Fabio on the cover or something?

Wait, on second thought, that might not work since I'm going with my brother in law. ROTF!! Ain't no ass throwin' goin' on there yo! LOL!

I love a good coffee buzz in the morning :)

Clarky, because a bread box won't fit?

Jblaze, Daffy Duck? lol! I have no idea - who?

Crue at a wedding rocks. We had Crue's "Don't Go Away Mad, Just Go Away", Sam Kinison's "Wild Thing" and Beavis & Butthead w/ Cher doing "I Got You Babe"

We did get a few looks - but it is our wedding right - we paid for everything ourselves - so we did it our way.

Cheer up - life can be a pain once in a while, believe me. Eventually, it will pass, maybe not today, tomorrow or the next day, but it will pass. Chin up.

Artanis I
I used to be on a bunch of email lists too, but now I just get them from friends / relatives. Most of them I do not post here, I try to post entertaining ones, or ones that make you think. I have lifted a few that were posted here and have forwarded them onto my email lists - share and share a like - joke share ware - what a concept, what a great country.

Good morning amigos.

TRUE TALES OF INDUHVIDUALS ==========================

Here are some more true tales of Induhviduals, as reported by vigilant DNRC operatives in the field.

=

While looking at a house, my brother asked the real estate agent which direction was north because, he explained, he didn't want the sun waking him up every morning. She asked, "Does the sun rise in the north?" When another person jumped in and explained that the sun rises in the east (and has for some time), she shook her head and said, "Oh, I don't keep up with that stuff."

=

I used to work in technical support for a 24x7 call center. One day I got a call from an Induhvidual who asked what hours the call center was open. I told him, "The number you dialed is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week." He responded, "Is that Eastern or Pacific time?" Wanting to end the call quickly, I said, "Uh... Pacific."

=

So my colleague and I were eating our lunch in our cafeteria when we overheard one of the admin assistants talking about the sunburn she got on her weekend drive to the shore. She drove down in a convertible, but "didn't think she'd get sunburned because the car was moving."

=

I was in a high school advanced physics class and the teacher was talking about a new military weapon that uses sonic waves on the battlefield to burst enemy soldiers' chests. One Induhvidual in the class spoke up and said, "Well that's stupid! Why don't they just wear headphones?"

=

My sister has a lifesaving tool in her car. It's designed to cut through a seatbelt if she gets trapped. She keeps it in the passenger side door's map pocket.

=

My friends and I were on a beer run and noticed that the cases were discounted 10%. Since it was a big party, we bought two cases. The cashier multiplied two times 10% and gave us a 20% discount.

=

I was hanging out with a conservative friend of mine when we saw a woman walk by us with a nose ring attached to an earring by a chain. My friend said, "Wouldn't the chain rip out every time she turned her head?" I had to explain to her that a person's nose and ear remain the same distance apart no matter which way the head is turned.

=

My girlfriend and I were picking up some sandwiches from the sub place last week and she asked the clerk which one of two sandwiches was better. The clerk didn't have an opinion but did say that the first sandwich was more expensive. My girlfriend got a quizzical look on her face and asked, "If that's the case, why are they both listed with the same price on the menu?" To this, the clerk responded, "I don't think they tax the turkey."

=

I was at a convenience store buying a 99-cent "Behemoth Gulp" or some such thing. The cost with tax was $1.02. I only had a $5 bill. The clerk asked if I had two pennies. I said I didn't. She said, "We'll take a couple from here," and got two pennies out of her penny cup at the register. She handed me back my change: $4 in bills...and the two pennies.

=

I couldn't find my luggage at the airport baggage area. So I went to the lost luggage office and told the woman there that my bags never showed up. She smiled and told me not to worry because they were trained professionals and I was in good hands. "Now," she asked me, "has your plane arrived yet?"

On a tour of Texas, the Pope took a couple of days off to visit the coastal area for some sightseeing.

He was cruising along the sea wall on Galveston Isle in his Pope-mobile when suddenly he notices a frantic commotion just off shore.

There was John Kerry struggling frantically to free himself from the jaws of a 25-foot long shark.

As the Pope watched, horrified, a speedboat came racing up with two men aboard.

One of the men, President George W. Bush quickly fired a harpoon into the shark's side while Dick Cheney reached out and pulled the bleeding, semi-conscious John Kerry from the water.

Then using (autographed Round Rock Express) baseball bats, the two heroes beat the shark to death and hauled it into the boat.

Immediately the Pope shouted and summoned them to the beach. "I give you my blessings for your brave actions," he told them. "I heard that there was some bitter hatred between President Bush and John Kerry, but now I have seen with my own eyes that this is not true."

As the Pope drove off, President Bush asked Dick "Who was that?"

"It was the Pope," Dick replied. "He is in direct contact with God and has all of God's wisdom."

"Well," President Bush said, "he may have access to God's wisdom, but he doesn't know squat about shark fishing................how's the bait holding up?"

I figured that maybe it provides a toe hold for the chick bellet dudettes to help the geezer bellet dude get to up in the air when the do the spinny shit...

I'm sure that the chick ballet dudettes don't wear anything down the front.. they are so mega smooth there... at least as smooth as the baywatch chicks...
and everyone knows that they wax off all the nice organic dental floss, shave it some more, t-cut polish it and then get the ultra smooth finish with a buffing wheel...

I can only guess that the ballet chick dudettes do the same or something similar....

which leads me to my next research item of the day...

why do so many women want to deforest their muffin and make it look like a 6 year old's???

cuthbert - politics and music.....

Bob Dylan.....

I am thinking about Christianing my guitar. Names I have chosen (I am a little bored studying for the GMAT, so I thought this up...stop laughing)

1) Xerxes
2) Infantus Metallus (means baby metallica)
3) Vag Rippa(any femistist bitches around?)
4) Chu Hyeong-uk (my guitar is made in Korea :)
5) Jazz Man (even though I cant play squat in jazz)
6) Woody

Michelle: LMAO! definitely no ass grabbing for you at the Godsmack show! Why dont you take the kids along too? Man, you must be so excited to go for the concerts. There is nothing going for me, boo hoo! So, are you going for the philly or NY shows?

Green Day's American Idiot for G3!

Have people heard about Bushisms? You know, when Bush keeps making stupid errors while he speaks not because he made a mistake but just because he's plain stupid?

Kerry for prezzy

Forgive me feminists! I know you all of you are not bitches. But some of you are :) (this goes to my ex-gf)

Joe,

Billy Steel had gotten your autograph for me (on Always with Me, Always with You sheet music - at Bone Bash V). This is going to be a 1 yr. anniversary gift for my husband (it's the paper anniversary. I've just taken it to be framed. I can't wait to get it back. The song will always hold a special place in my heart - as it was the song I walked down the aisle to! Thanks so much for helping me give my husband an awesome and unique gift. I think it is something that we will both treasure for a very long time!

Best wishes to you!

And Clarky, Dylan himself once said that Hendrix had produced the definitive version of the song (Watchtower)blowing away his original...

Others that fall into this category? Remake better than the original? I'll take the Manfred Mann Earth Band version of "Spirits in the Night" over the Springsteen version any time

The Deep Purple version of "Hush" versus the original.

Another obvious one is "Black magic Woman" although the original Peter Green Fleetwood Mac version is cool in its own way.

One last one, "Diamonds and Rust", the Priest version versus the Joan Baez original.

I was reading some reviews for Green Day's American Idiot and one of the reviewers (an obvious redneck probably from Indiana) asks Green Day to "go back where you came from!." Green Day is from the Bay Area, California, USA.

Funny, I thought.

Cuthbert, I agree with Summertime Blues (prefer the Who Live at Leeds version over either Blue Cheer or Rush) and Pretty Woman, although I thought Orbison's cool falsetto was good for that song. Of course one can also talk about "Ice Cream man" but I do not wanna pick on old blues guys, I prefer pretty much ALL blues remakes over their originals.

QR and Slade?? Cannot stomach either version of that song personally....
