hey everybody... how are things going with all of you? Been awhile... school has been kicking my butt, although i was able to escape last weekend for a few days and went out to LA and had a lot of fun... austin showed my friend and i around town one day and took us to see joe's section of the rock walk (Thanks austin!) and we went to the getty and stayed on the queen mary as well as a lot of other little excursions.... had a blast and now am back to the sleep, work, school routine... argh...

hope all is well with everyone and that those who are able to go to this joe tour enjoy it... denver has been skipped, but i guess we cant complain much with the g3 taping last fall and deep purple tour last month...

hope all in satchland have a good evening...

Hey Joe thank you very very much for the wonderful time yesterday at ROXY in Atlanta. It was an awesome starter for your new tour and I had lots of fun. I sent to your webmaster the contact information now in better shape than that little piece of paper and also some shots from the show, Thank you again and I hope to see you soon. Say hi for the band

Rodolfo Alvarado

P.S.: How do I do to add another e-mail address. If the WEBMASTER could do this for me, is the e-mail I sent with the pics from atlanta. My name is signed at the end. THANX

Say, would anyone know of a band who had a couple of former Steppenwolf members. They only put out one or two albums around the early 80,s. I believe the name of the band was The Bzzz or something like that. I am trying to locate the first album they put out. One of the songs they played on the radio was... Get up Get angry. Thanks for any help.

Hi everyone. I heard part of a new Collective Soul song on the radio today. They will be releasing a new album, Youth, on 11/16.

I know a lot of people here were wondering about what their sound would be like without Ross on guitar. Judging by the short clip that I heard, it seems like they're going back to the rock sound that they had for their first few albums (instead of the almost technoish style of their last few albums). I'll definitely be buying this as soon as it is released...

I got a big package from CD Universe today:

- Dream Theater, Live At Budokan (CD)
- Dream Theater, Live At Budokan (DVD)
- Jordan Rudess, Rhythm Of Time (CD)
- Van Halen, Live: Right Here, Right Now (DVD)
- Van Halen, Live Without A Net (DVD)
- Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Place You're In (CD)

It'll take me a while to get through all of this music, but I can say this right now... EVERYONE needs to pick up the new Dream Theater releases... :-)

jblaze1 - I've always thought Raspberry Jam Delta-V would make a great ringtone... I don't have a cell phone, though. ;-)
CUERVITO - Hi...welcome to the site.
hoiguy79 - Joe went from Marshall to Peavey for several reasons. He said in an interview that it was always hard to get Marshall to repair his amps when he was on the road...so that's partially why he made the switch.
patberk - This is probably too late to help you, but you're supposed to pick up your passes at the Will Call window.
michelle - Sign your license plate and give it to Joe...I bet he'd like it. :-)
snickerdoodle - Welcome.
OCPS470 - The aftershow pass winners are announced three days before each concert.
juju808 - Hi... you're welcome. ;-) I've been meaning to email you, but yeah...sleep and school have kept me busy as well. I'll write you tonight after the Cardinals game.

Also, no, we don't know what Joe's setlist is for this tour.

...Austin...

Bahduh: Michael Clarke 150 on debut, Gilchrist 100 as captain/keeper, Harbajan 5 wickets, an interesting first innings. Chopra, Dravid and Yuvraj Singh all out cheap, Laxman out for less than 100 (!) McGrath back in form, interesting start to the Indian innings. What is the pitch like? (Ha ha, I'll give you $5000 to tell me the pitch report! What about the weather? Another $5000! Know any bookies? jk)

Jelly: one of these days I'll get a decent hair trimming thing.

Michelle: ha, when I was asked over the phone I wasn't told it was actually a fancy dress party ... so I basically came over as a gate-crasher, invited by the birthday girl. Kinda embarrassing.

Austin: no thanks, I'll hold back on the Dream Theatre releases. I'm already poor. Damn, I wish Collective Soul would break up and not release more albums. I've got the first 5. Then again I haven't bought the new Satch one yet either. If it wasn't $30 I might.

Just experienced the smell of freshly imported CD this afternoon. My Beloved CD (Failure On) arrived today at Clear Directions, so I did a drive-by at lunchtime and peeled off the import sticker whilst sitting here at the computer. I love the import stickers. Not for what they are, but what they represent. (An imported CD.) CD is good too. (!)

OCPS:
In order to win the after show pass you have to be on the attend list.I believe you go to the "Road" section of the site.Look for the show you are going to, then follow the prompts the site gives you.I think it's "Edit show attendance".It is probably too late because they usually pick the winners about 2 to 3 days before the show.

Austin:I knew I wasn't the only one...lol..

Austin, I thought so too. It would be a reminder to him and his family of the dedication & love/insanity of his fans. lol! I love that plate, which I actually brought in from it's spot hanging in the garage yesterday. I have it propped in front of the entertainment center so I can try to make up my mind on what to do with it. It's also part of the car I drove for 15 years, although I only had the plate the last few, so it's a special plate IMO. I think it would be special, yet hysterical for Joe to hang it up at his house, don't you? Guess I'll have to place a call to the police barracks to see if I can get my question answered.

austin....lucky you,,,,,,,,live in budokan.great news man,,,,,,so how does it sound,,,,,,,,normal dt or any changes????review awaited...wish i can buy it too but then,,,i am an indian from india.....lol.......................sad me.

artanis,,,,,,,,,,the pitch is brown and will surely take turn from today onwards(3rd day).....i guess the bcci is scared of preparing green tops...india did well during the last world cup in s africa and also the last test series in australia,,,,so green tops would have been a risk worth takingbut hey,,,i guess the people who rules cricket in india will never learn, afterall, most of them never played cricket,,,so we do not expect them to do any better,,,,,,,,150-6,,last score at stumps yesterday......the batting has failed india again,,,but then it is not the end of the world,,,,,laxman, dravid, ganguly got out to rippers....as bill lawry would say,,,'thats a ripper''....yup man........if india is to follow on then i think they will be able to save the match but if gilly does not enforce it then australia are almost there,,,,,,,,then there would be 3 test to go and anything can happen....let us wait n see.....bookies,,,,hey i do not know one,,,,so i guess i lost out on the 5000........lol.............dravids run was too good to last..he was in terrific form for the last 2 years.so the law of average was bound to catch up with him........poor dravid..such a wrong time to lose form.............hope sachin recovers soon or else we r possibly looking at a whitewash.......today is very important..if india does well then we can hope for better things in this series or else the outcome would be very clear.....cheers mate..............also cheers to gilly and clarky.....the national sports channel interviewed his grandparents who were watching the match live in bangalore ,they were very emotional,,,,touching interview,,,,,,,,,,artanis,,got a cricket final to play tomorrow,,,,hope the rain gods stay away coz it has been raining for the last 4 days this side of the world.....wish me luck bro...,more to come on the ongoing series...........bye.

death cube k - The bonus features are lame? You suck. ;-)

The bonus disc's multiangle version of Instrumedley (one camera on each guy) alone is worth the cost of the CD and DVD.

I haven't watched the other features, but I peeked at them. The documentary looks decent, and the intro video looks very cool...it contains a lot of old footage that I've never seen.

michelle - I really do think Joe would like it a lot. Just pull off any registration stickers that might be on the plate, and you'll probably be fine...
bahduh - DT's Live At Budokan is amazing. I don't know what else I can say about it...LOL. I hope you'll be able to find a copy in India sometime soon...you'll love it. :-)

Hey Joe,

I know this is probably totally selfish of me, but is there any chance of Steve Morse being on the next G3 tour with Mr Vai and yourself? If so what are the chances of G3 coming down to Australia? You guys are my 3 favourite players and I'm really hoping G3 will make it down under someday!

Thanks Travis
