You may remember signing his Steve Vai custom at the Tower Records here in Hoffman Estates... ...I even found him an autographed pic of you for him for christmas... ...I have bought tickets for us to see you OCT 22, at the House of Blues in Chicago...

I saw your show with Deep purple in dallas,texas. I went backstage after traveling 10 hour ride from homua,la. Even though I only talked to you for what seem like 2 hours, I was impressed. Now, I'll be able to see you at the house of blues. Just wondering, what songs will you be playing and if there's a poll to vote for?? Can't wait to see you in new orleans. Later.

zinc master, that's the way a wedding should be - fun! My wedding got a bit heavier and louder as the night went on. When we thought it was time to clear the place out a bit, we went for the heavier music. lol! My only rule to the DJ - if you play Lady In Red, you die where you stand! lol! I still hate that song. lol!
Jazzy, as per names for your guitar - I read that post this afternoon and busted out with a laugh that sent my cat flying across the room. lol! Vag - lmmfao! I thought I was the only one to use that word. Every once in a while when I'm joking with my husband I call him a vag. lol! Vag Rippa is disgustingly hysterical. I think you should keep that name for the mighty tool (if it's mighty that is.) If you name the guitar Woody it would be more fun to ask the girlies if they'd like to have a go at it. As for the show, my daughter is going with her boyfriend and his family. They all got seats together. I would love to take my son, but my b-i-l only had a 2 seat pick up when I got the tix. He just bought a new Cavalier, so there would have been room for my son after all ;-( He's a huge Metallica fan too. It would have made for a very cool night out. We're going to Philly.

Alexandre, hello my friend. I hope you are feeling well soon. My husband and I are well. My son will turn 13 on Friday. That means a house full of boys this weekend. My daughter is already looking for an escape route. lol! We got our son a Digitech BP80 bass processor type thing. It should be fun to see him learn some new tricks :)

Hi all. Thanks for the replies from everyone. That would have to be my longest post for a while.
Austin: yeah collection purposes. I was actually after the red guy in particular, as I lost the one I had. I bet the vacuum cleaner ate it. Either that or a large spider did.
Bubbles: thanks for the info. I had to search around the web to find audio samples in a format I could listen to! I wasn't grabbed by what I heard, but it wasn't bad at all.

I'm compiling a christmas list...so far I have two items on it..."Snowball Of Doom" dvd and "Vai: Live at the Astoria"...I think in terms of a "main present" I would like a new amp, as I am currently knowing nothing about amps what would be my best options within a price range of aboot £400?
I found a the Marshall AVTC412A for £279 at sound control is it a good cabinet for its price? I've also found the Marshall AVT50 head for £279...any opinions on this?

crushingday62, I've been researching M-Audio gear, and i think i'll go for the Aidosport Quattro, cause it seems more geared to Audio input than Midi input, which is what the Midisport cards seem to be designed for! I'd still be interested to know your thought on the Midisport/USB performance tho!
