Hello Joe. If I may ask, I'd like to know what kind of effects you used in the song "Mind Storm," from Strange Beautiful Music. I love the heavy sound but I have no clue as to the effects involved. Thanx!

Wow! You are the best! I was blown away by your performance at the Keswick on Thursday night, my first time at one of your concerts. ( I just last year discovered your music). You are a very talented and dynamic musician and composer. Your inspiriational music, poped into the CD player of my convertible corvette, is the best therapy in the universe! I look forward to the pic's from the meet and greet which, by the way, totally exceeded my expectations! I'm honestly thinking of getting tickets for the west coast part of your tour as I just don't want to wait several years to see you perform again!......Love and Light.....Deb Davis

Simply Awe-inspiring again!!!! ...........
Joe @ the Beacon last night rocked the house once again. Ny is a great place to see any show, but few still have what it takes to do what Joe does night after night, show after show. Being a huge fan of Queensryche,Ozzy,Dream Theater,Van Halen, Etc...I've seen some awesome shows, but as of the last 5 -10 years the music put out by them has slowly weakened, some faster than others :) On the other hand Satch, just like a fine wine, keeps getting better with age! We love you here in NY and your music and performances are experiences that we treasure greatly. Absolutely no-one can evoke such emotions and create the adrenal flow, like you and your mates do through your awesome music Joe!!!
Thanx and hope to see you back here soon!

It's gnarly! espeacilay as You said with MT2! and A Hi-gain distortion!...Also, I sound very diffrent than Joe, But Yes There is A Patch Called "space echoe" I think it's around that area anyway! and it sound's EXACTLY like Joe!..No question!!...Well We know for recording, He uses Pretty much all Boss-Digitech Processer's!...and Various send and return rack effect's...I am glad Your getting some cool tone's! Do You have anything recorded?..I would love to hear it!.......MARIMARI- Rock On! and Thank's I enjoyed the pic's!......Call you soon!..................

Hey All! Joe at the Beacon was an incredible evening! Going to the show with Matt King was such a treasure! I usually go by myself but Matt shares the same passion and enthusiasum
for music as I do. It's not often that you meet someone that is connected as you are. It's great to share such an incredible experience with someone who loves music and has such amazing knowlege of the guitar. Thank you Matt!!! ;-)))
The setlist was exactly the same as the Keswick but it was not the same show! The crowd was much more responsive! It was great! Joe jammed/ noodled a bit more/ differently on some songs. It was really a nice surprise that he played Sleepwalk. I would've preferred BellyDancer but having heard Sleepwalk 2x I truely appreciate the beauty of that song and the tone of Joe's guitar! Simply speechless!! ;-O) I will gladly listen to whatever Mr. Satriani wants to play and he will always astound me! I bow to you Joe and the Band! You leave me speachless!
Best Regards,
Mari

Hi, Joe!
Saw your show 10/16 at the Beacon. Awesome as usual! Thanks for another great show! Saw you there 10 years ago!
Would have liked to hear Summer Song, but you more than made it up with a few selections from Surfing with the Alien! Please play N.Y more often, so we can catch you as much as possible. See you next time you're in town.
Thanks, Joe!

Hey Joe the Beacon show was amazing ! I had the great pleasure of meeting you in Aug. up in New Hampshire ( remember the stack of magazines) you were so cool to me and my nephew. I know where it comes from. Me my nephew and my wife (who was sick for the New Hampshire show) had the honor of sitting next to and meeting your mom at Beacon last night. She is so cool we talked a while and had the best time. Seeing her enjoy you playing a killer show like the Beacon last night was truly a great time for us all. She is so proud you ! Thanks Joe! You are the Man! God Bless!

Jblaze, hope you enjoy the DT dvd. I put it on for my husband yesterday and he was blown away. It looks like the same show we saw earlier this year. Killer show too! We had crappy seats, so those big screens came in handy. lol!
Matt, nice to see you here again. How's the cd coming along? Ahhhh, some of my greatest memories are from the Beacon ;-)
Suzie, XTRMIST is pretty good. I have a list I made a few years ago when I got the other plate. I should try to find it. I could always fall back to my second string favorites - CAP-MRGN or CHEEZ-IT, but that's a whole different avenue there. Come to think of it, I might have even had a Metallica song for my third choice when I applied for the satchr8 plate. I think it was SDBT TRU or something like that? I have entirely to much time on my hands. lol!
Eva, best of luck on the Ladies Eurotour!! I know you'll do well :)
qfive, I was just wondering if Joe's mom was at the Beacon a minute before I read your post. lol! My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Joe's mom at the Beacon in 2001. She's amazing, and such a sweetheart! It's awesome that she still goes to see Joe play when he comes "home". She is certainly proud of her son.

Wow, that setlist!!! Time, Hordes of Locusts, Lords of Karma, THE TRAVELLER!!!, Moroccan Sunset...only thing missing is Secret Prayer! Please Joe play those songs on tour in Australia so that I can see/hear it!
How cool of Mrs Satriani to go and watch Joe in concert. My parents haven't even seen or heard me play in concert since the high school production back when I was still producing bits of crapness.
Eva: hope the tour goes well for you, congratulations for making it to the international scene. I haven't even travelled internationally yet! (But living in the middle of an ocean sort of makes it harder to do...)

Optical studio: Yes, I do have around 15 tracks recorded from the last eight months. Do you use AIM or MSN messenger? The space Echo effect is pretty sick I agree. I have programmed mine with a really high gain, so you have this Type O Negative sound. I love my gt-6!
That was an awesome setlist. My perfect one would be with lights of heaven, secret prayer, crats, uwsg, new blues, cryin, crushing day, circles and train of angels. I would pay a thousand bucks for that one!
