OpticalStudio- I still have quite a few KISS albums- doubt they are worth too much though? I do like tremeloes, but it does depend... my Gibson SG is great and doesn't have one- but I do run it through a mega distortion pedal.

Hey everybody! I'm starting to lose sleep over the concert in Columbus OH next Wednesday. I bought Platinum tickets but haven't received anything yet. Called Fanfire and they said they are running behind... they will probably overnight the show info in the next few days. I'm worried because I'm not sure when to show up, how early, etc. I was wondering if anybody else is/has experiencing the same thing.

Shakkalath - Thanks!
opticalstudio - thank you!
I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I hope I didn't miss anybody - the freeflow nature of this forum is a bit different, but cool.
I have other samples out there as well, one even named Cup a Joe, dedicated to some guitar guy named Joe... ;-) Please check them out at http://www.arfnbear.com Just click on the songs link on the left side of the main page, and enjoy!

Jazzzzzy- Yes, Thank's Man! That would be exlellent! My e-mail addy is wildestuddio@aol.com I can give You My address, Or however You want to do it! Right On..My Older Bro' I dont see much anymore is A real Pink Floyd fan!...He like's that dark side of floyd, "pigs' "umma Gumma" "the wall"...Yes That would be nice!...OH YEAH! I found that patch, etheral... it is very cool I like it! I have Mine set up on basic pre-set's and work and tweak them, As I go since It is studio stuff, I do several layers of focal point guitars and effects and assign each it's own patch, and then during mixdown's I can still EQ and tweak them some more! along with My 16-tracker studio, and, well as You Know, You have heard Me, I get these "amp overing" intonation's, that play A melody over the existing root chord/note. and along with the Harmonizer/flange/wah/space echoe on crunch and MT2 or seqencer, I am able to get these really scary "hidden" harmonic's, I have A 22 fret, But A lot of My solo's inherently Use the 36th fret harmonic's...I just love the way it incorparates so many diffrent tones!...I know You have found some patches and programs that are IDENTECAL to Joe and Vai's sound!.......I DONT use them Because of that! i Want to be A Steven C. Wilde clone Not a Joe clone1LOL...Let Joe do His thing!....e-mail Me when You can! I sure appreicate that!.......SUZIE2000- That'a girl!...Make that instrument Talk! My freind Randell had an SG, Nice choice, BTW how many guitar's do You own?...And do You have any tracks recorded?.......Off to kick On My GT -6, down a cup of green tea, and light up the fretboard!.....Take care all.Steven.

Gonna try this posting thing again, since the last one didn't go through.
evzevz, very cool music, I just listened to the selections on your web site. Did you write the music, play all the instruments on the tracks, mix it yourself??? And how long have you been playing guitar?
You are quite talented! Congratulations on what you've accomplished so far, and here's hoping you keep going!

Thanks Joe for a great show in P-burgh last night! My social life consists of organizing baby clothes and washing bottles these days (I love being a new mom, don't get me wrong!) but it was nice to do something for myself for a change, especially since I missed the last G3 tour. Anyhow, I had the time of my life!! Can't wait to see you again, and again, and again.......

Do The Stu
Hi Austin, yes, been reading posts since August, after we bought tickets to our first live Joe concert with Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy. Guess I was just too shy to post before!! But have enjoyed reading what everyone has to say! It's quite a fun group in here!
We hope for the second night in San Fran as well..are you going to do the meet and greet for the 26th? If so, we'll see you there as I'm springing for the platinum tickets as a Christmas present for my son and myself! We're so excited, we're walking around with big grins on our faces!! It may only be our second concert with Joe, but definitely won't be the last! Whenever we can, we'll be there!
Joe has inspired my son to shoot for the stars with his guitar playing...he wants to go to Musician's Institute after high school, and that goal has made all the difference in his life. Just having Joe take a moment to stop and take a picture with my son in Reno has really been magical for him, he feels so positive about his future as a guitarist!
Joe: thanks for everything: your music, your sharing, your emotions that come through so clearly in your music, and your kindness to your fans. You are quite unique, and make the world a brighter place for many people! As a parent, I especially appreciate the values you communicate. Even though we don't know you personally, we have come to recognize that you value your family most highly, your friends, and your capability to express yourself with your incredible music. I don't worry about your influence on my son because you and your band are not about drugs or alcohol, and he very much looks up to you for that, along with of course a huge appreciation for your music! I know we aren't alone in saying, you have us as fans for life! I hope you continue to love what you're doing forever, and will always share with us!

Jason: no you didn't find them, because you were ignorant of their existence. This is my point. You shoot someone down because they make spelling errors and yet are unaware that you are doing the same.
If you really insist on me pointing them out to you:
"daughter's" not "daughters"
"let's" not "lets"
"okay" not "ok"
"BTW" or "By the way" not "Btw"
"don't" not "dont"
"hillbilly" not "hilbilly"
also, "money" does not require to be capitalised in the middle of a sentence.
Don't "grasshopper" someone either, unless you have absolutely every reason to think you can.
How do you rate "Fahrenheit 9/11" compared to "Bowling For Columbine" and "The Awful Truth" TV series? I thought it was not so good. It seemed like it was thrown together, and it didn't seem like a Michael Moore production to me. Then again I may have been distracted by another guy who kept on talking during the film.
Later all. BEN

Ha ha ha, I just realised I had a dream that Joe was touring Australia, but that his only concert was going to be in Perth. (A bit like the only US date being in Alaska or Hawaii or something.)
Phew. That's a relief.
Hey Joe, if you come to Australia to do a tour, please don't just do a concert in Perth! (For whatever reason that may justify doing so.)

Greetings Joe and anyone else who reads this.
I caught your show in Columbus, Ohio several years ago at the Palace Theater in downtown Columbus. I really enjoyed the show. Since then, I have joined the Joe Fan Club and enjoy all the info and links to everything Joe. I watch your DVD that was made in San Francisco all the time.
I purchased the gold package to your upcoming show on Oct 27 in Columbus and I am really looking forward to the show. I would have purchased the platinum package (as the reviews have been great) but had to back off due to my wife threatening to cut off my balls if i spent that much money on a show. Alas, I hope that i am one of the lucky ones that get to meet you as this would bring one of my lofty dreams to realization. Actually, my biggest and best dream would be to jam with you. Nonetheless, even if i don't get to come backstage, I know it will be a kick ass show.
P.S. I have been careful not to steal too many of your riffs, but who better to steal riffs from?
Oct 27th can't get here fast enough!
Ron James

mikesb - Thanks for that link... I'll put Volume I and Volume II on my list of stuff to buy. ;-)
cheese101 - No, I won't be doing the ticket package thing. I've met Joe twice in the past...it's not worth the money to me to meet him again. I hope you and your son have fun, though.
Keep in touch...it'd be cool to meet up at the show and say "hey"...
