The world is free to have an opinion on the government of the US. The US citizens have the right to exercise their right to vote and determine who will be the president. There is a big difference between an opinion and an effect. I could care less what PM you vote next. It is your vote not mine. If you feel Mr. Blair dose'nt have the rocks to lead get rid of him thats my opinion not that I have any effect.

As for your comment on what happened in ww2 has no bearing on the political decisions/misdecisions that are made today, oh contraire.

Bush said on Feb 4 of 04 "Over his long career, Winston Churchill knew success and he knew failure, but he never passed unnoticed. He was a prisoner in the Boer War, a controversial strategist in the Great War. He was the rallying voice of the Second World War, and a prophet of the Cold War. He helped abolish the sweat shops. He gave coal miners an eight-hour day. He was an early advocate of the tank. And he helped draw boundary lines that remain on the map of the Middle East. He was an extraordinary man."

The part about boundry lines that remain on the map of the middle east particularliy stands out to me.

Your narsacistic approach to the past / present relationsip to military decision making will have a more profound impact on your future than Mr. Bush being re-elected.

Youre focus is your reality.

cubert - I knew about that stuff... like I pointed out to 962 earlier... a Government will only get involved in a conflict if there is something in it for them...

it was in the greater interests if the US to see both Germany and Japan put down...
and I'm pretty sure that the US and the British governments and strategic planners would have met in the early days of the war to consider how the world would look with large Japanese and German Empires that are extremely military, highly motivated, technologically advanced and with the enourmous resources available to them that Empire wealth brings...

UK and USA were [and still are] by and large happy to be powerful and coexist...
Germany and Japan getting that strong would screw things seriously...

it was agreed that it was in the greatest interests of the US to get involved....

nothing to to with freedom... more to do with long term ecconomic prosperity.. with a hint of national security... [cos it's not nice having too many top dogs now is it... lmao]

The Road section shows the Phoenix date on December 30th. Fanfire also has December 30th. Celebrity Theatre says that Clear Channel is promoting the show on December 29th! How about some clarification???

dam - I've read a great deal about Churchill... I am a great admirer...
but then... he also has some remarkable ancestors...
as a hobby I'm a keen student of military history... from any era.. Churchill and Monty were both great military historians and have written some tremendous works..

You don't really give $26.00 to read that garbage from a man with a marketable last name do you? Then again, you have marred the lines between reality and Hollywood in your previous posts.

Full Metal Jacket. Minority Report.

To indulge you in this fantasy Hollywood realm, have you seen conspiracy theory?

They have medication for that. (yuk, yuk)

Did you guys notice the guys on the balcony with the banner that Joe read. I sat next to them at G3 last year. They always have a big ass banner.

Zinc Master: That place is way to far for me to travel. I dont have a car. It's just me, my U-pass and my Monthly Metra Pass. I dont like that kind of traveling. Since my girl and I broke up, I have to travel 40 or 50 miles everyday on public transit to get to work/school. When she and I lived together It was a mere 3 blocks away. I'll see you later on that night. Ill probably be wearing another blue outfit so I can sport my rasta hat again. I just got it It looks so cool. to be more specific it's three colors gray on top then a light blue band in the middle then a white(well it wont be so white after my second time wearing it) white brim. the hat is hand made, knitted. thats the key element to my outfit along with my gray and white scarf for anyone who is looking for me. I look like a rap star or some shit.

Hey Joe (or anyone else who knows)- has Is There Love in Space been transcribed yet? I'd like to get the songbook (for guitar) as soon as it's available. If it's already available, who's the publisher and where can I get it?

Thanks.

About the Song The Waves of Life, next Monday that song will be the soundtrack of the website www.koalasurfboards.com. Koala Surfboards are one of the most sucessfull trademarks in Portugal :-)). Very cool :-). The Shaper liked very much that song :-)). Luck for me ;-). !!!!

sup muddahfukkahs!

anyways, my dear friends....The Satch Concert was orgasmatronic last night. And so will it be tonite!

optical studio! Yo man! whats up! I am fine, just chillin! the concert was great! At least once you should check out Joe. But hey, if I were you I would listen to myself play and never go to any concerts! Dude, are you on AIM anymore? I think you need to get on!

Achoo: How was the meet and greet? did the passes work out ok? btw, Dave Mustaine's b'day is on the 13th of Sept. I am a HUGE Megadeth fan!

962: Thanks bro! Definitely check out Porcupine Tree and Opeth! The Satch show was kick ass! I hope he does the evening with Satch in the UK. Its worth every penny.

dammmissnamm: Same here. I had to cook breakfast for myself and give my woman a shower. I mean I had to wake her up then tell her to take a shower. Thats what I meant!

Alexandre: Thanks my dear Friend! If I had the chance to become President, it probably wouldnt be a good idea though! The National anthem would be Hot in Here by Nelly, the National Bird would be the middle finger, the national animal would be a puppy and the national drink.....beer!

HAPPY 500 CUTHBERT!

EDIT - Does anyone want an @gmail.com email address? I have five invites to give away... Email me your first and last name and I'll pass one your way...

962 - "so what if Moore is as deceptive as we claim Bush to be? Moore isn't the one running the country and most of the world."

So it's okay to lie as long as you aren't the leader of a country? I disagree.

"Oh, and on a ligher note, first 2000 orders will recieve a print of Steve's handwritten score? What a con!"

Actually, I think it's kinda cool. I don't think the score should be a deciding factor in anyone's decision to buy the album, but it's a nice addition for everyone (well, the first 2,000) who was planning on buying it anyway.

jimbojim - A Satch Tapes II would be cool, but there aren't really any videos that could be included.

I think the best that could happen would be a rerelease of Reel Satriani that includes some other recent video (the Crystal Planet EPK, etc.)...

belcher - Las Vegas is on 12/29, Phoenix is on 12/30.
cuthbert1776 - Happy 500... ;-)
Groovemaster - Back in May, Joe said that Cherry Lane will have the book out "soon". It's not here yet, so maybe they're waiting until after Christmas.
alexandrecaetano - Congrats on getting Koala Surfboards to use Waves Of Life. Of all your songs, that one has always been my favorite.

...Austin...

GrooveMaster and Do The Stu:

I don't know if this will help or not, but I've been able to place an order with Amazon for Joe's newest tab book, Is There Love In Space. It was supposed to come out Nov 1st originally, but they've now let me know it is backordered till December 15th. But if you want, you can at least pre-order it, and then cancel if you find it somewhere else quicker! My son is looking forward so much to getting that book!!!
