I have no doubt that Alicia Keyes would have had more votes than candidate Keyes.

Two stoners were having barbecue chicken at a local hotspot when suddenly the lady at the next table starts choking and turning purple. One of the stoners takes command " Clear the way, stay back we know how to handle this!" At that point the other dude drops his pants and gets down on all fours directly in front of the woman who is by now convulsing on the floor. The second stoner goes behind the first and plants a long tongue wipe up the others a-hole! The lady jerked violently a couple of times and then coughed violently projecting a chicken bone across the room.

The two stoners stand up and one says to the crowd " Gotta love that Hindlick Manouver, it works every time!!!"

Do not try this at home....

Yes it is interesting/disburbing how many things the fed govt is involved in - you only named the big items. Their position is that they are protecting us from each other or from big business (I am not defending the position).

I have said for some time that social security should be given a drop dead date - meaning, we will continue to support it until, lets say 2050. After that date, gone, done, stick a fork in it. So that now, we can plan for our own futures. It will also protect our grandparents, parents, ect who currently rely or plan to rely on that income when they retire.

Now, SSD needs to remain for the time being as well as unemployment, at least for now.

SS is such a scam. They are "borrowing" against our future - the money isn't there - it used to be - the money that came was in its own account to pay benefits - now it is part of the general fund.

'Come Bite Me!' Right...

TAIPEI (Reuters) - A man leaped into a lion's den at the Taipei Zoo on Wednesday to try to convert the king of beasts to Christianity, but was bitten in the leg for his efforts.

"Jesus will save you!" the 46-year-old man shouted at two African lions lounging under a tree a few meters away.

"Come bite me!" he said with both hands raised, television footage showed.

One of the lions, a large male with a shaggy mane, bit the man in his right leg before zoo workers drove it off with water hoses and tranquilizer guns.

Newspapers said that the lions had been fed earlier in the day, otherwise the man might have been more seriously hurt ... or worse.

Michelle I'm glad you liked the calavera, what an honor if you print it and show it to someone else.

Old but funny joke !

Two guys were moving fast in a supermarket with their shopping carts and they bump. One guy says to the other “I’m sorry sir, but I’m looking for my wife”

“What a coincidence, I’m also looking for my wife and I’m desperate now”

“Well, maybe I can help, How does your wife look like?”

“My wife is tall, 25 years old, brown long hair, green eyes, well shaped legs, firm breast, fantastic butt, well, she is very pretty. How about yours?

“Screw mine, lets find yours”

Holy Crap finnaly caught up. You people are prolific sometimes. Back to biz.

The music posts on this site continue to impress. I know I'll leave off some one that I have listened to so a communal congrats to all of you that have let us into your heads through your music in the last few weeks. You know who you are.

Michelle - My God girl!! Reading is worse then the big cities on the west coast. Granted I live in Portland, OR where life, for the most part, is mellow. For a metropolitain area of this size we don't have a very high crime rate, people still hold doors open for you and you rarely hear a horn blare. PA sounds crazy. I have some friends that live in Pitt(or suburbs there of) and they don't even tell stories like that. The people in Reading must still be pissed off at being the railroad on the cheap side of the Monopoly board. And what's the deal with the Ho Ho Hut?

NASCAR Sucks. I concur whole heartedly.

Four more years of Conservitve Christian Hell!! It is not so much the four years. at least there are some checks and balances built in. My BIG concern is the supreme court. That is where the country is really going to get screwed!! Two, possibly three LIFETIME appointments. I expect to see an outlaw on gay marriage and the overturn of Roe vs Wade any day now.

Guitarnut - While I understand you point, the beauty of this site is that we all get together with different view and ,for the most part, are able to discus them. The other thing I really like is that all these thing happen on ONE board. That is the best. I would like to paricipate on some other sites but you practically have to research the site just to participate. Here if you don't want to read one of Cuthberts posts (he does make some good points even though I disagree with him most times) the scroll bar is on the right. I think the Joe appreciates that we are normal people with normal lives, not just a bunch of music geeks that never leave their rooms. Music is about expression. Here we express ourselves with music as a bond.

MORE on the election. The whole "War on Terrorism" thing I think is a crock. It is an excuse to rally support for another agenda. The fact that we are in Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism. It has to do with the fact that Big Geo. told Chimp Geo. to "Get that SOB." Also, it has to do with OIL. The economy of the US is based on the movement of goods. We have a very large country, in area, and to be able to move things around. If there was no oil flowing into the country our economy as we know it would collapse. Maybe I have a transportation bias (can't imagine why) but the influence of the big three along with the subsidies on gasoline that the goverment provides all help harbor a culture that is very auto based. AAGGHHH.

Out of time. Off to math.

EDIT spelling and a "Happy B Day" to DCK!!

When it comes to "entitlements" decisions are very hard. There are no easy fixes or changes - once it comes up for discussion, the AARP or other groups start up the "fear" talk and the politicians back down quickly - since they like to be re-elected.

Maybe we need an Emperor (like in Star Wars) who can rule by decree - fix everything - then step down (yeah right).

How about Arnold - just amend the constitution (again) and he is in, right?

I like his movies - not sure what kind of governor he is - don't hear much about California lately.

Civgeek aka Matt Dorado: Great post man. I fully agree with you....America just got stumped with another 4 years of conservative christian hell. Funny part is, most of these rednecks who call themselves conservative, are not even close to conservative. Conservatives lead more of a withdrawn lifestyle. No alcohol for the most part, Church, bible, etc... If these NASCAR dads and white trash punks were not allowed to vote, I think Kerry would have made it. Its a fact, the Kerry supporters were pretty politically active about the whole war on Iraq and other American issues. Whereas Bush's crowd relied mainly on those "values." Those cheap, narrow minded white American Christian small town values. Bush did a good job selling himself out to those people. I'm just feeling sad that Kerry's hard work and dedication recieved a big FU simply because of people who are too damn naive.

Adrianorb: lmao!

Death Cube K: Happy Birthday to you! How old now? 29?

Hello! I saw EWJS last week in Columbus, Ohio, my 4th Satch event. I have to say that while Joe was amazing as usual, I found that ultimately there was disappointment in a few elements of the show. First, Matt Bisonnette seems to hadicap the band. His presence up there just doesn't fit well with the other musicians, and I truly believe his involvement limits the set list and also the quality of any impromptu jamming, because he simply isn't capable of keeping up with Joe and Jeff. Second, I would really love to know if Galen is any good. (I am sure he is a monster in his own right) They need to put him in the mix! I saw him playing, but barely heard a note from him all night. He didn't contribute anything to the evening for me or my friends. He isn't great looking, didn't play super cool guitars, didn't wear groovy clothes, wasn't very present or confident onstage and most of all, we couldn't hear him! Lastly I was slightly disappointed in the set list, but was thrilled to hear "Hordes of Locusts." Great choice. All in all I'd still rate the experience a B+ just because I got to hear Joe and Jeff again. Jeff is hilarious. Especially the way he rolls his eyes during Satch's Outros From Hell. Anyway, great job Joe, but get Stu back!

cuthbert: Piss off dude. In no way, shape or form would I ever even dare to call the majority of these white trash punks informed. They voted for one reason, and you know what it is. I will not repeat it. If you dont know what it is, you can make one up. I am biased, but for a reason. I believe I am much better informed and take an active or least attempt to make a rational choice rather than blindly following rednecks like Bush. I grew up in 5 different countries, including the middle east. I think I have seen more of the world than "my fellow Americans." I may seem arrogant and stubborn, but during times like this, it's the best way out.
