Senator Kerry today said that now we need to come together and heal as a nation. FUCK THAT. There's no fucking way, I am going to come together with these homophobic, flag-waving, god-fearing, gun-toting, uneducated, isolationist, ethnocentric REDNECKS. We live in a country that's in a shroud of ignorance. We do not compromise or come together with them. We fight them and everything they stand for. We as a community have to take care of each other and respect each other because apparently our current government has no interest in that. They do not care about gay people, they do not care about sick people, they do not care about black people, they do not care about poor people, they do not care about the rest of the world, they do not care about our environment, and they especially don't care about a woman's right to choose. We may have lost the battle, shit we may have lost the war...but we are not losing our minds. WE ARE RIGHT...THEY ARE WRONG...just because we seem to be the minority doesn't mean we come together with them. We continue to fight….and drink...and try to have a good fucking time. That's my plan anyway, thanx to you all.

Well that's just the point... If this board had more good topics on music, I would gladly post more often. I was merely offering my opinion the shared experience here would benefit from less politics and more music.

And Jazzy, many of your posts in particular are the most intolerant and hostile of anyone's here and it sets a very negative tone on a message board that should be anything but.

And now I'm gonna take some of Do the Stu's advice, back to the music...

I don't know about you all here, but I'm BIG on music videos, live DVDs and the like. For me, the visual element adds so much to the experience of the music to see the actual artists playing it (or at least goin' through the motions on the music videos). I have over 300 music videos and concert videos on my computer and multiple live DVD's... my favorite of it all of course is "JS Live in San Francisco" followed by the two G3 DVDs.

Anyone here have any particular music videos you recommend or great live DVDs for a fellow guitarnut?

Bought myself a Behringer V-Amp for recording. I'm very impressed with the sounds on it. Anyone else use one of these? How does it compare to the Line 6 POD?

John Kerry did not win, George Bush did win, LIVE with it untill 4 years from now, it wont change untill then...i've got nothing against you cause you've never said anything mean to me, but come on man...its time to let it go and lets make this message bored fun to read again....you said "if you dont like it skip over it" i skip over every single post and just look for blue or green because all anyone does anymore is bash each other and try to see who has the biggest ego on the internet....its stupid and i would not be suprised at all that this is one of the biggest reasons why Joe or the Webmaster doesnt post as often as they did way back when everyone got along and this site was fun to come to and read what people had to say and to hear updates from Joe and just have fun, but now everyone is always trying to out do each other and trying to become the biggest and baddest pixel on a computer screen. its sad, i wish it would stop....

Listen, this is Satriani's website. Don't submit messages saying Satriani sucks, he lacks soul, Eddie is better..blah, blah blah. Whether you think Eddie is better or not it's your opinion. The "best" guitarist, is just a matter of opinion and it always will be. It is disrespectful to come on Satriani's website and talk him down. That's like going to a Bush site and talking about how great Kerry is. Eddie influenced many, Satriani influenced many, Hendrix influenced many, Clapton, Page...etc... you get the point. All we can really say and measure is, they are all greats, and have influenced many guitarists lives and at some point changed the way they have played.
