The Bob: Yngwie looks better with blubber on his face. When I saw him live on the G3 tour, I was expecting to see a skinny guy. But when he skid on stage and started shredding, dude, I had the laugh of a lifetime. Not only was he amazing to hear, but he looked like such a clown that it became even more fun to watch. So, I like the fat Yngwie, not the phat Yngwie!
Clarky: Unleashed in the East, I will definitely check out the album. In fact, I will be out to buy it today. I have liked JP but never heard much. I did hear somewhere that even Metallica layers their tracks, I guess most musicians do. Are there any specific riffs you learnt when you started playing? The first riff I ever learnt was Black Sabbath Children of the Grave. Thats another secret I am trying to unlock. The key to being simple. Megadeth's Holy Wars...The Punishment Due has some really kick ass riffs. Have you ever heard it? Maybe you can do a cover version...would like to hear it!

Hi everyone, I`m from Chile and I'm hoping that the 10 of december came so fast, Satriani is the most extraordinary guitar player that I've ever seen, and a nice person full of "carisma" and humility, G3 is something holy in my country that we have been waiting for so long,
Viva SATRIANI Y VIVA CHILE MIERDA!!!

Abba Reunion Would Only Disappoint, Singer Says
Entertainment - Reuters
BERLIN (Reuters) - Swedish pop legends Abba will not be getting out their spangly jumpsuits again because a reunion would only disappoint their fans, former Abba singer Bjorn Ulvaeus was quoted as saying on Wednesday.
"I can understand that people are longing for Abba, but deep in my heart I know that they would be deeply disappointed if they saw us back up on the stage again today," Ulvaeus, 59, told Germany's Bunte magazine.
"Just look at our videos," he added. "That energy, that drive, that enthusiasm. You just wouldn't see that anymore if the four of us got on stage today. It's just not there."
Abba was one of the most successful 1970s European pop groups. They won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with "Waterloo" and subsequent hits included "Fernando," "Dancing Queen," and "The Winner Takes it All."
The group split up in 1981. Four years ago they turned down an offer of $1 billion to re-form.
The two couples who made up pop's most famous acronym -- Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anni-Frid -- have long since divorced.

Joe, I came to your show in Columbus a couple of weeks ago. First off, I must say, absolutely amazing. Aside from some of the drunks running around, it was a great night. Can you explain how you do the really high slide / bend in the main lead part to sleepwalk? When you did it live, I didn't think I saw a slide, but it kind of sounds like a slide. Thanks.

joe is it harder for you to play on jumbo frets then it is on your js guitars. i am not takeing any thing away from you. but i find it 10 times easyer to play it on your guitars. i have the js 1000 and i took off the neck and put on jumbo neck. from the rg 550. you still rock man. stick with marshall amps live. i been a fan for 15 years. and marshalls sound way better. i know your jsx is 90 per sent. marshall. but it stll not the same. thats in my ears and all my palls that play to . from ken laureano 21 @ hotmail. com keep on picking

erm...strange e-mail (and before you read, yes they have contacted me before).
"We wrote you earlier about the material on your web site. With the holiday
season quickly approaching, a period where record companies sell significant
product we would be interested in pressing up the material you have available,
AT OUR EXPENSE, and putting it in retail record stores. We would also engage
in some radio promotion on it to energize sales.
We are offering to pay you a 25% royalty of what we sell, a very generous amount
by industry standards.
This would be a non-exclusive relationship and would not restrict you in any way
from making, selling, distributing or otherwise entering into other record
contracts.
You would not give up any ownership to your music, copyrights, trademarks or any
other intellectual property associated with your music and the recordings.
Attached here please find an execution agreement for your review and signature.
Please print out 2 copies of the agreement. Sign both copies on the last page
where indicated in blue ink. Initial the bottom of each page other than the
execution page in blue ink.
If you don't have existing cd art files we will generate them at our cost.
Please return both copies to me at the address below for my signature along with
your audio and art files. If you do have art files we prefer jpeg and Photoshop
files, second choice would be tiffs and third choice would be bitmap files. If
your going to send us completed designs remember to save some space on the tray
card for bar codes and label logo these "zones" do not need to be white out just
empty of typesetting. If you need any assistance with these issues don't
hesitate to contact me. As for the audio, 2 CD's one with regular CD files and
a second CDr with the audio in wav files would be ideal. If you don't have both
formats available, that's fine we will have it converted in our mastering
facilities but it would save us a couple of steps if you can make it available
in both formats.
Checklist of things to send in:
1. Master CD audio files
2. Master CD with WAV files if possible
3. Signed Contract
4. CD with art files, photos, etc.
5. Bio if one is available
6. Select a web option in paragraph 2. Contracts that come in without a web
option selected will be held pending instructions so be sure to make the
election. (if you elect to be on the Statue Web site there is a one time set up
fee, please see the contract and send in a check when you send in the rest of
the materials, there are no other fees of any kind ever)
Best Regards,
Geoffrey Emery"
Any one give me an opinion on this as I have no sure reaction to it right now lol....

Dear Mr. Tebyl,
I am happy that the commercial on DSF has caused positive associations for you. The music was exclusivly composed for this commercial, which is to be seen as "fluid motion", a campain spread all over Europe. The author of this music is Paul Clark. We got only few more here than there is to be seen in the commercial. But maybe you will find something here: http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Paul_Clark/

cuthbert: First of all, I am not 17 years old. I am 22. Second, why do you expect me to keep bitching about how Bush won? I dont want to blamed for causing shit storms here. Seems like I am always the one picked on, so I choose to be quiet. I know you have been expecting me to be very vocal so that you can get to ramble immaculately. Sorry, not going to happen on this website. Third, if you didnt know, MN voted Kerry. So you can expect more than one Kerry supporter here. Fourth, I dont believe in physical violence. As for me being quiet, what do you want me to say? As I said earlier, I do not watch TV. Especially not local news.
I would suggest you to stop accusing me with your earlier post. Even if it was a joke, there are many people who will not get it.

Hello Satch-land !!!
I had a dream last night that I was at a baseball game where Roger Clemens was pitching to Babe Ruth. The announcer was Howard Cosell and he commented on a new bat Ruth was using that was......aaaaaaaaahhh!!!.......a 1952 Gibson Les Paul !!!!! I jumped out of the stands just in time to see the guitar explode....and then Ruth goes and throws the neck into the stands like a rock star...lol !! It was one of those dreams you are glad was'nt real when you wake up from it. I gotta stop eating right before I go to bed...lol !

I ate Indian food last night. Damn curry gives me the weirdest dreams. I dreamt that I was back stage at a satch concert. Everything was going great until Joe told me I had really bad breath and asked me to move to the opposite end of the table. I was really embarrassed.
I wonder what it all means?
