When I just recently was privileged enough to encounter Joe live, I watched the "The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing" pretty close. I thought what I witnessed was Joe nutting with the bottom of his right hand thus raising an octave for the sixteenth notes. I have no idea what he was actually doing. Do you know of a web source for the tab or sheet music for the "Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing”?
I apologize for the poor grammar and spelling but I have had a bit of "The Macallan".
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do The Stu,
In response to receiving negative feedback.
If it's from a respected source...it's taken with great worth. My own girlfriend would prefer to hear words with my music, she's not a musician, but she is a consumer, so I weigh her suggestion with an open mind as a consumer. If Joe tells me he really likes my tone, chops, taste, balls & song writing...then Yipeee!
My new CD & website will be posted in several weeks, and I'm very interested to hear both your negative & positive remarks.
In Response to: NOTE / SWTA-era Satch fans who are Satch fans because they like the Satch / Hamm / Mover power trio sound.
I am a Guitarist, Drummer, Bassist, Keyboard player & lead vocalist...essentially when I listen to Satch it's for Guitar first, then the other complimentary instruments second. I believe Joe basically has the Bass & Drums where he wants them for that release, and he's most likely to change them on future CD's.
Anywho....I think most of us are here because of Joe's music, and I appreciate his, and his band's talent & offerings.
Du The Stu: Nice to encounter someone like yourself that's interested in the nuts & bolts, and willing to talk it out, not just blurt out a bad review.
Love, Peace & Happiness
Stevee T.

Michelle: no we don't have a lot of "shots fired" gun crime, thankfully. The Hoo Hoo Hut is not far from Deadman's Knob too! It's also just up the road from the radio station I work at. Nice spot for a BBQ. Weird name.
My parent's didn't make it to the gig, but my sister was there, and we played to the best crowd we've ever had. One of our best gigs easily. We played in our city in the afternoon (in the hot sun) before driving up for a night performance, and driving back that night. Our singer was sleeptalking (even singing one of our songs!) which kept us entertained and me awake to drive.
Hi all, I've been reading posts from last week. Not going to comment as most of it is now old. Still 12 pages behind.

Since the concert hall is a block away from my job I'll just leave early and look for some hungry ticket scalpers. whenever there is a concert and I have a ticket there is a million scalpers. But no ticket = no scalpers. Or there might be scalpers but they will be probably charging 100 bucks or some shit. I'm looking to pay around 40 beans or so.

Benny, I'm 7 pages behind myself, but I just saw your post. Glad gun crime isn't a regular thing. Today my mom told me that at a club they go to, less than a block away from their home, a guy was shot when he went outside to leave. I'm not sure of the all the details, but she said the guy was about 65 yrs. old and stopped in for a beer. On his way out, a few kids outside started calling him names and harrassing him because of whatever his baseball cap said. They wanted his hat, but he kept walking. They shot him in the back, and he is now paralized and can't walk.
A man works hard all his life and this is what he gets from a bunch of punkass kids. Guns. They're not just for hunters anymore.

DelfinoPie - Linguistic comedy? That sounds like a fun essay...LOL. :-)
RockingChick - Hi...welcome to the site.
Tell us about yourself... How did you get into Satch's music? What are some of your favorite Satch songs? What other bands do you like?
Stevee T - "essentially when I listen to Satch it's for Guitar first"
Some fans might like other things about the music though...and it doesn't make them lesser fans. I get what you're saying, though...
Let me know when your website is up and running...
achoo - "there might be scalpers but they will be probably charging 100 bucks...I'm looking to pay around 40"
If you don't want to pay more than $40, only put $40 in your wallet. Put the rest of your money in your pocket for the time being... That way, when you approach a scalper, you can show that you only have $40 that you want to spend on a ticket. If it gets closer to show time, the scalper might get nervous and just give you the ticket for the price you want...
...Austin...

Hey Michelle, thanks for the otep link. Thats exactly how I feel too. I think they have nailed it right to the point, and it isnt surprising that I am not the only one feeling as strongly about it. Thanks again.
There are many people who call such attitude intolerant. I'd rather be intolerant than accepting.

DamnIMissNamm, I somewhere have the tab for the arpeggiated section. I'll dig it up this evening. Also, check out www.ibanez-guitar-players.com I think you'll find some useful stuff there about it, but I culd be mistaken.
Delfino, "a kick in the tits". Haha, that's some real flexibility! Halo 2 is gonna kick all ass, don't worry! The lack of bots will melt into insignificance.....well, that's my guess. I hope I'm proven right! hehe
Aparrently GTA Sand Andreas is the daddy......You have to go to restaraunts to eat and work out at the gymn. If you eat too much you get fat. If you smoke too much dope you can't run very far before you get outta breath. Awesome, can't wait for it on x-box!
Austin, I'm not taking sides cause it's nothing to do with me, but I kinda see where both you and Jazzzzzy are coming from. he is easily irritated by things, just like I am, which gives him a short temper, while you can be really pedantic at times, which is a 1st class winner for making irritable people get tetchy!
edit:
Last night was The Sopranos Season 4 finale....
Pastafarian, I reckon you're gonna love season 4 when you get round to it.....it's nuts.....everything kinda changes and gets a little darker, but there's some bitter-sweet resolution for Tony at the end. It's great. Sorry, I'm trying not to give away the storyline.....it's so good tho!

I noticed you mentioned you've got tracks of MP3.com, what artist name do you use?
Thanks,

2297 Where you at!!
Just picked up the new Tower of Power CD. My those guys have a great funky sound. If any of you are into R and B with awesome horn arrangements (ala James Brown), this is the band. They have been around for 30 years and still sound great. I would check out the site and see if they are coming to your town and go get tickets.
Off to school.
