So you're a feminist...Isn't that cute.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

All men are idiots....I married their king.

Leaving work early....Blonde style

Three women who worked in the same office noticed that their female boss has started leaving work early every day, so one day they decide that after she leaves, they'll take off early, too. After all, she never calls or comes back, so how is she to know?

The brunette is thrilled to get home early. She does a little gardening, watches a movie and then goes to bed early.

The redhead is elated to be able to get in a quick workout at her health club before meeting a dinner date.

The blonde is also very happy to be home early, but as she goes upstairs she hears noises coming from her bedroom.

She quietly opens the door a crack and is mortified to see her husband in bed with HER BOSS! Ever so gently, she closes the door and creeps out of her house.

The next day the brunette and redhead talk about leaving early again, but when they ask the blonde if she wants to leave early also, she exclaims, "NO WAY! Yesterday I almost got caught!"

MATTKING: Nice track man! I really like the soloing! I think it's some of the most badass melodic soloing you've done lately...real nice! Where are you running the gain on the amp? I've been running the MG 15 CD at about 6 on the gain knob, and it sustains and cleans up nice if you crank the volume a bit. Nice job man.

The Sunday Sermon

The preacher's Sunday sermon was "Forgive Your Enemies".

Toward the end of the service he asked his congregation, "How many of you have forgiven your enemies?"

About half held up their hands. He then repeated his question.

As it was past lunchtime, this time about 80 percent held up their hands.

He then repeated his question again. All responded, except one small elderly lady.

"Mrs.Jones," inquired the preacher, "are you not willing to forgive your enemies?"

"I don't have any." she replied, smiling sweetly.

"Mrs. Jones, that is very unusual. How old are you?"

"Ninety-three." she replied.

"Oh Mrs. Jones, what a blessing and a lesson to us all you are. Would you please come down in front of this congregation and tell us all how a person can live ninety-three years and not have an enemy in the world."

The little sweetheart of a lady tottered down the aisle, faced the congregation, and said: "I outlived the bitches!!!

jazzzzzzzy - "Got a problem fanboy?"

It's nice to see that you're continuing to call people names.

"What new things you brought up?"

Click here ("Please explain how..." and "How am I trying...?"). Will you ignore these questions now, like you did previously?

"you...claim to be fair and balanced"

Show me something that I said that is unfair or unbalanced, considering the fact that I have said in the past that I only respond to comments posted here and don't usually bring things up on my own.

"but bend to the extreme of the extreme right."

"Extreme" isn't the case at all. Trying to insult me because I have a few right-wing political beliefs isn't very tolerant of you. You should have a problem with my ideas, not me personally.

"arguing with you is like talking to a rock."

When do you argue with me? You say something and I say something back. You don't respond to any of my questions, so you can't be arguing with me. I've attempted to discuss things with you several times, but you hardly ever directly respond to any of the points I bring up.

"When I said I quit and dont want to talk about it anymore you just want to drag it along."

You can't post something that isn't true, refuse to answer questions about it, and expect people to believe it. Asking questions about something you say is not dragging it along.

"Post however much you want to, I am not going to respond"

If you continue to say things that are inaccurate or just plain rude, I will continue to respond to your comments. Failing to respond to points raised by myself (or others) shows that your points are based on very little (if any) truth.

Stevee T - Hmmm...I think we agree for the most part, but we just aren't on the same page with a few things...

"Yes, is the answer, I would like everone to tell me it's perfect"

Yeah, everyone probably wants to hear that (to a certain degree, at least)... But...to not hear any comments if they happen to be negative? I don't know about that...

"The Artist likes their work first, otherwise they wouldn't let it out of the box"

That's obvious, but does that mean people should only be able to comment on it if they like it?

"If CrazyBorg is a Satch fan, then how can he say that "Is There Love In Space", as a Body of work... is THAT much different than ALL of Joe's other Great albums?"

There are some NOTE / SWTA-era Satch fans who are Satch fans because they like the Satch / Hamm / Mover power trio sound. I can totally understand how fans of that sound would not like ITLIS?... I love ITLIS?, but one of my biggest complaints is that the bass and drum parts are VERY simple...they're almost boring. If CrazyBorg happens to be one of the NOTE / SWTA-era fans that I mentioned, can he no longer be considered a fan because he doesn't like the new stuff? I disagree...

michelle - LOL...awesome poem! ;-)
hoiguy79 - I like that song...thanks for sharing it. Let me know when you get other songs online. :-)

pheeeeeeeeeeew I haven't touched my guitar today...I got home and had to get on with an essay analysing whether teenagers find linguistic comedy funnier than any other form of comedy...

It's taken me pretty much from about 7pm till now (1:20am) to do it as I had to find scripts for "Blackadder" and "Bottom" as well as 4 jokes (two linguistic, two non-linguistic), then I had to document how one of my friends is a pun-crazy-mad-man that can make a pun out of practically anything...then I had to analyse peoples reactions to each...and it took the piss. lol

Gee3 - Props for standing up for yourself. Unfortunately some people just don't learn any other way. Here's a tip though. Go for the nose next time. When a person gets hit in the nose their eyes tear up giving you the advantage. And most importantly, Cartilage is softer than bone keeping the hand injuries to a minimum while still getting your point across

When I just recently was privileged enough to encounter Joe live, I watched the "The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing" pretty close. I thought what I witnessed was Joe nutting with the bottom of his right hand thus raising an octave for the sixteenth notes. I have no idea what he was actually doing. Do you know of a web source for the tab or sheet music for the "Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing”?

I apologize for the poor grammar and spelling but I have had a bit of "The Macallan".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do The Stu, In response to receiving negative feedback.

If it's from a respected source...it's taken with great worth. My own girlfriend would prefer to hear words with my music, she's not a musician, but she is a consumer, so I weigh her suggestion with an open mind as a consumer. If Joe tells me he really likes my tone, chops, taste, balls & song writing...then Yipeee!

My new CD & website will be posted in several weeks, and I'm very interested to hear both your negative & positive remarks.

In Response to: NOTE / SWTA-era Satch fans who are Satch fans because they like the Satch / Hamm / Mover power trio sound.

I am a Guitarist, Drummer, Bassist, Keyboard player & lead vocalist...essentially when I listen to Satch it's for Guitar first, then the other complimentary instruments second. I believe Joe basically has the Bass & Drums where he wants them for that release, and he's most likely to change them on future CD's.

Anywho....I think most of us are here because of Joe's music, and I appreciate his, and his band's talent & offerings.

Du The Stu: Nice to encounter someone like yourself that's interested in the nuts & bolts, and willing to talk it out, not just blurt out a bad review. Love, Peace & Happiness Stevee T.

Michelle: no we don't have a lot of "shots fired" gun crime, thankfully. The Hoo Hoo Hut is not far from Deadman's Knob too! It's also just up the road from the radio station I work at. Nice spot for a BBQ. Weird name.

My parent's didn't make it to the gig, but my sister was there, and we played to the best crowd we've ever had. One of our best gigs easily. We played in our city in the afternoon (in the hot sun) before driving up for a night performance, and driving back that night. Our singer was sleeptalking (even singing one of our songs!) which kept us entertained and me awake to drive.

Hi all, I've been reading posts from last week. Not going to comment as most of it is now old. Still 12 pages behind.

Since the concert hall is a block away from my job I'll just leave early and look for some hungry ticket scalpers. whenever there is a concert and I have a ticket there is a million scalpers. But no ticket = no scalpers. Or there might be scalpers but they will be probably charging 100 bucks or some shit. I'm looking to pay around 40 beans or so.

Benny, I'm 7 pages behind myself, but I just saw your post. Glad gun crime isn't a regular thing. Today my mom told me that at a club they go to, less than a block away from their home, a guy was shot when he went outside to leave. I'm not sure of the all the details, but she said the guy was about 65 yrs. old and stopped in for a beer. On his way out, a few kids outside started calling him names and harrassing him because of whatever his baseball cap said. They wanted his hat, but he kept walking. They shot him in the back, and he is now paralized and can't walk.

A man works hard all his life and this is what he gets from a bunch of punkass kids. Guns. They're not just for hunters anymore.
