lol!!

he's not the messiah..he's a very naughty boy!

lol..

ahh..the joys of monty python.

but this one is one of my favs -

"You know, there are many people in the country today who, through no fault of their own, are sane. Some of them were born sane. Some of them became sane later in their lives. It is up to people like you and me who are out of our tiny little minds to try and help these people overcome their sanity. You can start in small ways with ping-pong ball eyes and a funny voice and then you can paint half of your body red and the other half green and then you can jump up and down in a bowl of treacle going "squawk, squawk, squawk..." And then you can go "Neurhhh! Neurhhh!" and then you can roll around on the floor going "pting pting pting.."

962: The Tonebone has a tube, but i replaced it with a JJ ECC83S which was classified as high gain. I think I explained the amp rig poorly though... I disconnect the speaker, and send the speaker jack out to the Hughes and Kettner Red box pro which simulates mics and speakers. It send an XLR to the PC for recording, and a speaker out to either a cab, or a dummy load to prevent the amp from frying. A lot of times a put an adapter on the XLR and send it to a DD6 and out in stereo tp the PC for some of the coolest delay tones. As far as software, I'm using Sonic Foundry's Vegas for recording/mixing/editing etc. Great, great program....easy to use, great sound quality, great compression and eqing tools and solid FX. Most of the sound quality though comes from the Aardvark Q10 that is the AtoD converter. I'm using it to record at 24bit 96khz...and this thing just sounds amazing! I've been recording a demo with lots of accoustic guitar for a friend of mine, and it translates his Martin exactly as I hear it. It isn't harsh and it doesn't color the tone. 24/96 recording is the first time that I think digital is truly reprodusing a 1to1 version of what it hears via the mic.

I voted!

962: As I was waiting in line today, I just wondered about what you said. If every non American citizen living in America votes, no way would bush ever win. Would never be close. Lets see who wins. I think both the candidates rallied their butts off. Americans should go vote.

Cuthbert: haha...towelheads. Did you know, I lived in Kuwait in from 1991 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2000? I called several of my friends towelheads. It was a joke....especially towards the assholes. They always called me a honky for being from the US.

Michelle: If you can, please pick up Megadeth's The System has Failed. Its just brilliant.

Crushing tom: I think you need a threesome....is that what you mean by sandwich?...if you preference is male, Zenfish and Cuthbert are always ready. They're both from rainbowland...hehe...especially Zenfish.

Dude, I'm not confrontational by nature. I don't recall writing who I will vote for. In theory Mickey Mouse could win. Voting for Mickey will not change our system.

dck: actually I was going to type up a band name but i got totally distracted for some reason. The band name I suggest is

1) Horny Clown
2) Drunk Kangaroo
3) Feminists gone wild
4) Communist Ganja
5) Kram Nodnol

Hope these classy band names suit your needs. If you need any more, you can always ask for more.

Jazzy, THAT'S what I keep forgetting to tell you! lol! I thought I mentioned it on here that I bought it the week it came out. I bought something else at the same time I think, so for some reason 'the system' got the back burner. Also, I didn't take notice that the case was all cracked and broken. It was the last copy there, so I grabbed it. I have to put it in another case...better yet, just put it in my damn cd player in the car and wear it out! lol! I have it on my desk now, so I'll take it with me when I leave for work in a bit. They're coming to Philly any day now, but I don't have anyone to go with me... and money is getting tight with our daughters 16th birthday coming. She wants us to rent a hall so all her friends and their bands can play all day. lol! Sounds like a party to me :)

London's Top of the Mark :) HA! That's kinda twisted.

Wouldnt it be sweet if Satch covered some of the tracks from the T2J cd? I think that would kick start the sales.

Some of the stuff he could do from the cd: From the heart, ESYF, total joke, above and beyond, groovie movie (even though its not on), darkness, dark korridorz, finally made it home and the one by matt king.

Unfortunately - I have not tried those dishes. I have been a bread and spam kinda guy. To live it up - I have warmed it in the micro.

But your ideas do sound, on some level, kinda interesting.

Delfino - when you look at the Malmsteen stuff...
be sure to learn all the riffs first...
that'll be a very good introduction to his style...
some of the riffs contain some very swift runs [obviously] but you'll also find that some of the fingerings are dead tricky too.....

962 - lmao... I'd forgot about that... if I recall correctly it went something like this:

around 8 of us sitting outside a café bar drinking right next to the venue where Satch was playing
the gig was pretty well advertised..
most of us were wearing a Satch tour t-shirt or something similar... [I was wearing the Satch t-shirt is the bulldog on the front - can't remember what tour I got that one from but I know it's a really old one]
that guy comes up to us and says something like,
"are you going to see Satch this evening?" I replied "nah mate, we're going to see George Benson.. shit... is Satch playing here tonight?"

lmao...

slansh - nice one... I'll look forward to it.....
Zen - just curious.... have you ever heard of Martin Taylor and his band "The Spirit of Django"??
