You are truely one of a kind..
I listen to Satriani 24 hours a day... I must have a built in player in my head !! Your songs are like patterns in the void..
giving it all away' to why NOTHING really is important...
You are due for an Album or song called THE CLIFFS OF MIRANDA, which happen to be quite high and located in another region of this solar system. I simply thought , since you like surfing with the Aliens, you should also try slipstreaming with them aswell..
a dedicated close listener...

civgeek, yeah that's why I decided not to label any of the 'O' states cause I didn't wanna pick the wrong one! haha
jazzzzzzy, hey cheers dude! Also, on Himalayas.....are you aware of Michael Palin? English travel writer, was originally one of the Monty Python crew?
His latest travel series has been a 6-part trip around the Himalayas, and the series finishes tomorrow evening. It is without a doubt the most amazing footage I have seen. It definitely ranks, in my opinion, with the Grand Canyon and Yosemite NP for sheer WOW factor. I really want to know how I would go about organising a trip to Nepal, and trecking and so on. It's really beautiful.
"If I had typed something of that sort, you would be all over it"....I'm inclined to agree with that, all things considered.
hoiguy, thanks for the mail. I've added your (funny) halloween joe edit to a new Webshots album. It should be viewable now, but if not, try in 4 or 5 hours, or tomorrow or something.
http://community.webshots.com/user/962_lm
it's in the "other Stuff." album. Sorry I couldn't put the accents on your name in the photo caption......webshots doesn't like accents!
SupaaDave, was it Osama BinLaden who ordered the deaths of 3000 civies? I thought it was George Bush?!
For point of interest, reports recently made public indicate that there is no Al Qaeda army.....there is no offensive force to speak of. In many of those videos we have seen of Osama training his troops, he had hired civilians for the day, telling them to bring their own weapon and he would supply them with fatigues. It was all for the purposes of creating propaganda.
du Cap, welcome, and nice post. Not unlike Vince Mariani in style, although that won't mean anything to most people here!

hoiguy79 - If you were to call me Gringo than people would look at you funny. My Grandfather was born and raised in Torreon. My Grandmother in D.F. My other grandparents in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I'm about as Brown as they come. And the smell I was referring to was the sewer smell you got around the Zocolo. That and the lack of plumbing were I was installing latrinas while I was down there working in the tin shack cities. Don't go with an emotional reaction. Try to find out who you're talking to. I've never met a white man with the name Dorado.
Cuthbert - Thanks for having my back. If someone is going out into the woods to feed his or her family. That's cool. I understand that and have NO problems. It's the sport guys that want a trophy. That is killing for no other reason than pride. I would hunt if I could. But I just can't pull the trigger. If I was starving or my family was, I think that my mind set would be different. But we're not , so I got to the store.
Land use is a very interesting subject and that is one reason why I am studying it along with transportation. They go hand ion hand with each other and effect our everyday lives. Here we have an Uban Growth Boundry. It is part of the state law. Here is a link to Oregon's 19 State wide planning goals. Check it out and give me your thoughts. 19 State wide planning goals

CrazyBorg: I am left speechless after your last post. I bet you are too.
pp0: Thats some funny stuff dude! lol! Eddie Van Halen is a douchebag. Agree.
962: Cool webshots page dude. I am interested in airplanes too. Thanks for telling me about Michael Palin. I am checking out his websites and reading about his adventures. I love snow capped mountains. When I saw the Swiss Alps, I almost jumped from my seat (I was in an airplane). The size was majestic. I wonder sometimes what its like to in between those structures. If you get a chance, do visit mount Everest. Its one of the most magnificent looking things I have seen in my life. I am also in love with tropical beaches. The ones with shallow blue waters and palm trees just inspires me to move on and tells me that the world isnt the shithole I think it is. I plan to eventually move out to some peaceful place and start a smooth jazz band. On a beach, cool breeze, smooth jazz, pina colada and my dog...thats heaven for me. And of course, pirates playing hackysack. lol!

[quote] Why does'nt Osama Bin Laden come out of hiding and take his lumps like a man? Does the Koran instruct Muslims to be cowards too? [quote]
do u think that this is an Appropriate thing to say about muslims holy book (quran) ... how wuold u feel if some one says that about ur holy book ?!! ... i dunno wut starts that conversation in the 1.st place but i think u should consider that there are
many muslims that don't agree with those terrorists that call themselves muslims but they r not even close to it ...
as 4 ur pissin' part suppadave i think u should think if some one else is sayin' that about ur holy book ... how u will respond to that person ?!! for me i'll only say this : ur presedent n' the freedom war had resulted the death of more then 10 000 person in iraq since the war begun on march 2003 most of them r civilians plus the ones that still dyin' every day and of course the u.s soldiers who die there with no reson at all ... no mass distruction wepons were found .. nothing ! ... i'm not sayin' that the (9\11) attacks are less tragic ..... but compare the numbers 3000 and 10 000 or more
is that a reson to make u say this ?!! and if u wanna kick osama ben laden ass it's fine by me ... but don't take all the muslims livin' in the world by one asshole mistakes
i think u should consider this first b4 u start talkin' ... i don't want any thing from u guys only think about it a bit .... thanx

Hey Joe, I just wanted to thank you for being you! Your music has inspired 99.9 % of the way that I play guitar and look at music as a whole. I am blown away every time I listen to one of your songs and it encourages me to practice more and to be devoted to learning the guitar. I am really looking forward to seeing you at The Warfield on 12/26 and will continue to learn from your music and study the guitar.
Well, again I do thank you and hope that you have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas with your family!
P.S. I really like the hat you have been wearing lately on the "Is There Love In Space?" album and was wondering if you knew where I could either buy one or how to make one?

Jazzzzy - You sound like you're getting soft in your old age or you're auditioning for a game show.
I"I like tall mountains, long walks on tropical beaches, Pina Coladas, getting caught in the rain, making love at midnight on the dunes of The Cape."
I think you need to escape.

Hey I was working on this Regi Wooten lesson in the most recent edition of Guitar Player magazine, and I was wondering if anyone had tips on slap guitar, I really like the concept of it, and I would really like to learn how to use it well. I usually slap harmonics and stuff, but does anyone know some other good applications for it?

CrazyBorg,
Now, I know the reason you're name is CrazyBorg.
This is Joe's site, and you've got the Fk'in Balls, or lack of knowledge to say his latest album in no good?
If I were you, and expected people to respect YOUR opinion, I might phrase things a little differently than your last post.
Geezus...Joe IS the best, NO if, and's, or BUTT's ->(AND THAT MEANS YOU CrazyBorg) about it!
TRY, practicing for 8 hours a day for 2-3 decades, then let's hear what you've got to say about what's good, or not!

Joe, I'm an active duty Air Force member who's been a fan since 1992. I've never been able to attend one of your shows due to deployments overseas and here in the states, but always had you with me and listened to you in some less than desirable places.
I just saw you're coming to Phoenix in Dec '04. I tried to purchase a $200.00 ticket package, but their sold out. I was able to get a 75.00 one, but alas, doesn't include a meet/greet. I know it's a stretch, but was wondering if you could arrange an opportunity for us to meet pre or post show. Please let me know. It would be a long time wish come true... Thanks.
