Michelle: Those are just meant to be stereotypes. My goal was to tell DammMissNamm that sometimes people built stereotypes because it is hard to get to know a person completely with just a few words being said (like here on the internet). stereotypes do not hold truth for the most part as everyone is different, but it makes sense collectively sometimes.

Alexandre: God Bless you man!

Bahduh: Dude, yes...I was joking. Congrats again!

JS_JS: What have you achieved to tell me to get a life? Suck my dick you little bitch.

dck: Yeah, Vertigo could have been better. But a good first solo album.

DammMissNamm: You seem to be in denial that you are a war crazed fanatic. As for me being a Pump Pump Squirt (whatever that means in your redneck dialect) I think you have reached mid life crisis and have insecurities about getting old. I think you need to buy an Enya album and reflect on your life as a misguided missile engineer. ]

Ibanez89: I would buy the Ibanez JS (a 1000 is the best one, i think). I would stay away from the (artigi)anal guitar, unless you are into that kind of stuff (hehe...)

Quote of the day: Hollywood stink.

Masterop, as far as we know, Joe doesn't teach any more, although he probably teaches his son from time to time!

Hoiguy, you're starting off with a pretty decent setup there, and having the DS-1 will certainly help with a joe-esque tone. Don't use a proper distortion setting on the amp. If you can add a very subtle smooth overdrive, or even a just-off-clean jazz-like tone, then use that with the DS-1 as well. Again, with the DS-1, don't use too much gain, and make sure you have a decent amount of mid-tone in there.

With the guitar, I'd suggest using the neck pickup with the tone wound right on, for a cool, smooth slightly watery sound a-la Hill Groove, or the bridge pickup for something hotter like A Train Of Angels or any time you need some crunch like the beginning of Time.

I take it you don't have a Wah pedal? I would suggest getting one next time you have the spare ca$h. I would also thoroughly recommend the Morley Bad Horsie....I know Joe uses the Dunlop Crybaby a lot, but I've found the Bad Horsie very straightforward and 100% reliable, and I personally prefer it's tone!

I hope that helps in some way! hehe

Do The Stu, lighten up man!

Yeah George W and the Bush Administration (ie. his cronies) tried to get it shut down.

And it wasn't that which I was referring to with regard to sharing an opinion. I was referring to the fact that I just shared my opinion on the whole America/Bush/The American Colony of The Middle East thing but the concept of me sgaring an opinion was, to some, unacceptable.

It seems that that is unacceptable to you too. Well, neither Joe nor webmaster John have threatened to banish me for it, so I suggest that if you don't like what I have to say, you keep quiet and ignore me, rather than just trying to lay down this "I AM The Law" shit.

Jazzzzzzy, "suck my dick you little bitch". AHAHAHAHAHA! Rock on dude!

"I think you need to buy an Enya album and reflect on your life as a misguided missile engineer. " but that one was better. 10 points for the man in the jazzy corner, that cracked me up.

Do the Stu: I can tell you once again that you seem to be very easily offended everytime someone on this website seems to be a liberal. Not even once have I seen you criticize the Republican policies. Not that you should, but in general you seem very bent to the right. I know you are the guy who has been here the longest and the "know everything" guy, but please cut off the "I am the law" attitude here. It's coming off as being anal.

962: Thanks bro! Its kinda odd that JS_JS (redneck shit) pops up like that. I'll try to be more civil if they a chance. Well, shit! I am going to see Marilyn Manson and Megadeth real soon, and that should be a blast.

Bahduh: Newsman was not insulting you or anything of that sort. There are many light hearted jokes that come off as vile, but take it easy.

Hoiguy I can honestly say I saw that coming with the link lol...theres another one like that I know of where a song is playing and the lyrics are scrolling...then Reagan from the Excorcist comes along screaming so obviously defacation occurs...

Newsman I haven't had time to work on the guitar in weeks...I'm determined to get it done though, I've finalised the lizard emblem, and I'm gonna' be cutting it out this week so I can paint it on over the weekend.

Anyone seen any previews of "The Excorcist: The Beginning" I was watching Film 2004 last night on BBC1 and Johnathon Ross was saying that its terrible because for a prequel that is supposed to reveal the beginning it doesn't reveal a thing, its just another storyline with bad dialogue.

Anyone else heard any other reviews?

bahduh, tell us a little bit about your wonderful new son :)

Jblaze, have a safe trip! Don't know if you'll get to read this before you go, but take care, God Bless, and we'll be sending our good vibes to you every day till we hear from you again.

DamIMissNamm, I thought Jazzy's post on stereotypical Democrats was funny as hell. He's a good guy and I knew he was just trying to make a point. He has a quick trigger finger. If you come in here with your hands at your holster, he'll be the first guy standing 20 paces away lookin' ya in the eye. Hopefully things on here will calm down soon and we will go back to our regular irregular program.

Jazzy, "it is hard to get to know a person completely with just a few words being said (like here on the internet). stereotypes do not hold truth for the most part as everyone is different," I absolutely agree. First impressions are a bitch too. lol!

Ashley Simpson was on the Today show this morning. She said her acid reflux was acting up on Saturday and it took her voice. She said she has never used a backing track before, she writes all her own music, and always sings her songs live. Her drummer pushed the wrong button and played the first song twice. Ah well, shit happens. lol!

Happy Tuesday people!

Do the Stu:

Thanks for the info. You're a life saver.

To All:

I'm noticing that this is a very politically charged message board, and it has become increasingly complicated. Allow me to clarrify the issues for you.

1) President Bush Was A Male Cheerleader!!!! A Former Coke Head!! And Firmly Believes That God Personally Chose Him to Lead The Righteous Americans into Judgement Day. (scarry don't you think?)

2)Senator Kerry Bears a Strong Resembalance To Mr. Ed. And Senator Kerry has little to no testicles left after riding the fence for so long.

Given what the current global opinion is of America, and especially our leader, I'd say we're in desperate need of a leader who commands respect. Not just for being uncompromising in his set of values, but also having a set of values that are in synch with reality. Friends, when you vote, choose the lesser of the two evils. Face it, No Matter what You're Screwed Anyway.

Satch--Give us guidance (kidding) Actually though, Couldn't Kerry potentially be the "Mystical Potato Head"??

cuthbert1776: Thanks man :-) I'll be in and out weekly as my schedule does not permit much internet time.... My internet time is 100% at home only because I work on aircraft, lol.... I'm trying to fit guitar into my free schedule more than it used to be, so using the T2J time was the best choice.... lol, I'm sure JOE wont mind, haha! ;-)

Anyway, it's good to see you guys, and make sure you vote for a leader that will make you think and hope.... ;-)

I won a pair of the internet backstage passes to meet Joe tomorrow night. My question is for anybody that has won before.

I have a JS1000 guitar and am dying to get it signed, can I take it backstage, how does that work?

Thanks :) :) :)

Michelle......he's a superfreak !

Ashlee's excuse is almost believable.....I guess I have issues with the "little sister wants to be famous too" thing.....they should send her back to Nickelodeon for some "slime time live" action ;)

As for getting your guitar signed, I saw 2 people getting theirs signed - they had the Platinum package. They were allowed to have their guitar left at the coat check, and pick it up after the show to be signed.

You may want to call the venue to get all the logistics worked out.

DCK: I wonder what a fender amp would soud like with EL34's instead of the 6L6's? Is there any aompany making an adapter socket for that type of thing? I know THD makes the Yellow jacket for EL84 adapting...but haven't heard of the other.....

Guitarded boy, take the back plate and leave the guitar at home. That way there will be NO worries about damage or theft. Just my 2 cents, unless you want Joe to sign the body :) Congrats on the passes!

Do the Stu- thanks! Unfortunately my computer is a bit ancient, and can cope with sound but not video! That sounds hilarious! Wish I had seen that!

Cheese101- the Musicians Institute sounds a good move for your son- all the best with that. It is so good that he found the guitar! You have a very positive attitude too. :-)

Thanks for the address re. the John Lennon Songwriting Contest- oh dear we're a bit late for this one, but it is good to know for the next one! Thanks again. Sorry to hear your bad news, your month's notice, is that work or where you are living? Hope you sort something out, sometimes bad things happen for a reason?
