To Joe Satrianni
Hello my name is Nima, I have played guitar religously for 2 and a half years, people may say from the time ive played im still unexperianced, which i admit I am. However i feel i am developing well and i wish to know if it is possible for You yourself to judge where i am and if i am actually able to be a part of G3. It is a long shot i know i know. People will laugh at this post, or ignore it, but im so serious, i love guitar so much. Ive written songs, developed new ideas within my own limits. Well please consider this post whole - heartedly, im only 16 years old. Thankyou for your much appreciated attention..

Why does'nt Osama Bin Laden come out of hiding and take his lumps like a man? Does the Koran instruct Muslims to be cowards too?

eamon7: Thats one of the stupidest questions I have ever heard anyone ask. OBL did not endorse either Kerry or Bush, he just showed disapproval of Bush, not necessarily approval for Kerry. Watch some fucking news (even if it FoX News) before asking any questions about politics. Kerry will win and get rid of those fucking towelheads using his brain, not his bank.
Also, the way you added in "muslims" along with terrorists and bin laden leads me to believe that you are one ignorant sack of shit. I pondered on your question and think you make a great NASCAR dad.
......cannot sleep, too wired. I think I will make some pancakes for myself. Pancakes, sausages

Ya'll-I was at the New Orleans show last night...it was beyond fantastic!!!
It was my fifth time to see Joe, and actually my favorite. I deeply appreciated the variety in the set list. "Bamboo" was one of my favorite moments, but the intensity and dramatics leading into "Flying in a Blue Dream" actually brought me to tears. I've been in a serious funk (big D), Joe's music rattled me to the core last night-it was more than a concert, for me it was a spiritual experience...(thank you Joe)!!!
Great merchandise to. I collect music memorabilia, I have a shadow box from G3 including a picture of me/Joe, plus the Joe Satriani guitar signed by all of them, now I have this great poster, yay!

I just received this in an email, and I thought I'd pass it on. I think it's a good idea.
There is power in prayer. In just a few days there will be an election for President of the United States of America. No matter which party you support, no matter if you reside in the United States, please pray that the Divine will bless our nation and place in power the leader who will bring positive changes to our nation and our world in the years ahead.
Let's put the power of prayer to work for our world. I humbly ask that each of you stop whatever you are doing at some point in each day between now and November 2, 2004, and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, for the elections and for peace in the world.
Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have. Together, we CAN make a difference!
In Light,
James Van Praagh
I'll write more later.

michelle, great post, I think that sums it all up, whoever ends up as our President, we have to hope he has the faith, courage and intelligence to guide our nation well. The election will be decided by the people and hopefully we vote thoughtfully.
achoo, I don't know the answer to your question, but I wholeheartedly agree with you................WE NEED AN EWJS DVD!!! JOE, are you listening? If you make it, we will buy!!!!
Susie2000, how was your vacation week? I'm jealous! Hope it was good!
Matt King, I don't know you but I understand something of what you have been going through. Life can be such a challenge at times and we don't always understand why bad things have to happen, but in the end, there is a reason for everything. Keep on with your music as it is food for the soul and can lead to good things! You sound great!

Hey Joe,
I read once that you started using shorter hollow bars on your tremolo to reduce the boing when you use it. If that is true I was wondering where I could get one. Keep up the good work.

Hollywood didn't stink when I was there, it smelled kinda "normal" (whatever that means lol)... tell you what though - Venezia practically hums :-&
Matt King I like that demo! Very un-demolike quality-wise too! Sounding very fresh, and very like you! Keep it up. I hope everything works out well for you.
Alexandre thanks for your email bro! I have replied.
Hope everyone's doing OK. Less than a week to go for me!
Laters, Dave
EDIT: I didn't bold Alex! D'oh!

eamon: dont care if you want to stir me up, but think with the brain & not the ass....also, i am not a sports fan. I do like the vikes and twins to a certain extent but I like the wolves a lot more. I despise hockey. Its just a lame white suburban sport.
962: at least he got my adrenaline running. Have you seen the new obl video? That guy's got one hell of a make up artist...
