Hi Joe!
Loved your show in New Orleans, LA! Got the chance to actually meet you afterwards and this was quite special too. Looking to see when I can catch another show closeby. Thanks for sharing the time to talk and letting us see that personal side of you that is often times missed with just listening to your CD's or watching your DVD's. Should you ever come south again and need somewhere to hang out, give this southern girl an email! Thanks again for being so nice.

Michelle- thanks ever so much for the advice :-)
I've got an appointment on Thursday to see the doctor to get a second opinion, I think it could be a reaction to maybe a mixture of a cold and the stress of trying to move house... is there such a thing as temporary asthma? Hmm.
I've been using the salbutamol, and I haven't got worse -at least!
Aarren- just been listening to your tracks- I really enjoyed it! The recording quality was also really good I thought, even on my silly old computer from 1000BC!

Matt King & Mowlie good work on the new tunes !! Well some cool stuff has been happening lately biggest news of the week has been that a singer I work with has had a single from her latest cd put into rotation on a major Toronto radio station. :o) So we (her band) are trying to drum up some more support for the tune by asking everyone we know to drop in a request for "No Ordinary Love" by Sherrie Lea to Z103.5 fm ...... here's a link for a online reques 103.5 requests

hey eamon sorry for disappearing like that... i knew i had to format my pc and did it before i remembered all the things i had to do before i formatted! LMAO... anyways i'm back for a few hours and then not to return for the forseeable future, not that you're interested LOL! I think I read it in Guitar World from something like '88 where EVH did his first ever (at that time) major interview, spilling the beans on the Charvel neck, the PAF in the Strat body ("I just slapped it in there"), and the variac thing. Natch his tone is very different these days (and not half as good, IMHO) but IIRC that's what he said about his tone back then. Again, sorry for disappearing - I have too much on my mind at the moment and getting back to you slipped through the proverbial net! ;-)
Okies peeps, the time has come. In a few hours I'll be getting the hell offline and doing the biggest part of the prep for my move. I'll try and get online and get in touch when I can, but I don't know when it will be. Hopefully there are some internet cafes in Atlanta. If so I'll update the news page of my site with what's happening and stuff. Hope everyone is OK and hope everyone does OK. There's an email link on my site, and as it's a gmail account my inbox shouldn't fill up too soon ;-) Catch you all soon! Dave :-)

Delfino, with regards to Nuno's TAB's....check out things like He Man, Woman hater and Get The Funk Out, and probably Warheads too.
Then again, if you find that people have tabbed them badly (i usually find that people who can play something can't tab it for shit) give me a shout and I'll shovel some coal into the scanner and see if I can get some copies from a cool book I've got!
Yeah the Love Thing melody is a beauty....I may be wrong on it, but I play it as fragmented arpeggios, cause it helps get the right tone for each note!
PhryDom, good luck with the move!

edit:
OCPS470, dude I just downloaded the Stone Groove MP3. nice man, I can't wait to hear it with a beat behind it. What is the new pedal you're using? The tone is nice, really creamy, and it reacts really nicely to the Wah!
Let me know when youve got more of the track down, it's gonna rock! The lead is going to sound great.....I reckon some tight delay would make it sound massive!
By the way, that Keeley DS-1 demo you did ages ago......I'd still like to hear a full version of that tune, it was really nice, very inspiring!

Zen.......what are you talking about? I did not put Eddy down for his talent, I only stated Joe had surpassed him. Technically, Joe is by far better yet he has created his own sound as well which also sets him apart. I don't care if I can surpass either of them.
