cheese101 - Yeah, I've heard Vinnie Moore; another great player. Although I must say I find it quite strange how you mentioned Vinnie Moore in the same context as Larry Carlton, since they're totally diiferent styles... lol

pp0 - Joe does not use a DS-1 with his JSX.

Chrome Boy87 - Joe has chrome guitars, not nickel-plated guitars. Chrome looks much better... There are a few places on the internet that will do the nickel thing...I don't remember the names of any of them offhand, but I've heard from people here that the quality isn't all that great.
jazzzzzzzy - "not my problem if you dont agree."

When did I say anything about agreeing or disagreeing? I said the argument does not make sense and there are problems with the logic it uses. That's a fact that has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing.

Noppa - That's such an awesome video, isn't it? For those who haven't seen it, go here.

TO JOE, WEBMASTER & ALL MEMBERS - JOE SATRIANI CONTEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Someone posted an idea about a month, or two ago something like this...

How about Joe throws a contest to win a chance to perform on stage with him...maybe even a shot at playing on a track on his next Live, or Studio album.

I've not heard of any one following up with the idea since...

Of course, there'd be a lot of details to iron out, logistics, legal eagle stuff, but think what this would do for Joe & his fans, and once the word spreads....it might even launch a new career?

Maybe, a new Satch label?

To limit the number of entries, maybe an entry fee to defray Joe's cost's to sponsor such an event, and make it worth his while! There'd have to be a screening process which would have to be run by someone Joe, or his Management's choosing.

I've got plenty of ideas, but what's more important are all of OUR ideas & post's. SO IF YOU'RE INTERESTED...LET'S SEE THOSE POSTS, and don't give up till we get an answer...either way!

Joe has been gracious enough to allow us the T2j project...who knows maybe we will get the chance of a lifetime to perform with Joe Satriani?

I WILL CONTINUE TO POST THIS ONCE A DAY FOR ABOUT A MONTH SO MEMBERS CURRENTLY NOT READING THIS GET THE NEWS, OR UNTIL I'M SATISFIED THAT IT'S EITHER COMPLETELY Satchurated, OR IT TAKES HOLD!

I'll send a copy of this directly to Mick Bridgen...Joe's Manager, and see what happens.

Let's all uncross our fingers & start practicing. Peace, Love & Happiness.

Stevee T.

Mr Nick

I agree - some parts of that imaginary Bush speech are good, bad, interesting, creative, crazy.

Which is why a joke is a joke.

Simon, we have PS2, not x-box, so I don't know the characters in Halo 2. I checked out the documentary at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/halo2/ and caught a glimpse of Brute. LMAO! Actually, I'm kind of at one with the feelings of a big gorilla that wants to smash ppl. who irritate him upside the skull with one big swat. lol! Tell me a bit about the character. Great graphics and music on that game too.

Alex, hi honey! Very cool that you called Mikey to wish him a happy birthday :)

Zinc, I have to go listen to a clip of Finale. If I heard it, I don't remember? I'm to tired to think right now. lol!

more great lyrics - "Hit me with a shovel cause I can't believe I dug you"

Any guesses on the artist of that song?

edit - Zinc, I don't have State Of Euphoria

You say it doesnt make sense because you disagree with it. If it was anti abortion you would'nt be saying it's illogical. Well, it has made perfect sense to a lot of people. Guess you're an exception. I agree with Carlin and I think he makes a lot of sense. I don't know about you. I dont see what's so illogial about it. Yes, its not made for the pissy people who get all gung ho about humor. Those are the people Carlin tries to get back at and I think he's been prolific.

not sure who that could be - your lyrics, but great lyrics

Finale is from State of Mind Euphoria cd (I think that is what it was called - yellow cover, red circles, small faces of the band)

Michelle Brutes are great lol...Everytime comes into view the phrase "Well hello Mr. Fuzzy-Britches" comes to mind...

I think all the characters in it are really well animated, but the Brutes have got a really cool run...its like a Gorilla running...mixed with a Rhino charging.

I got another picture of my fat cat...this time its of her sleeping in her actual bed...I'll post a link in my edit...

The one song that I can remember right now - came out in the mid-1980's, maybe late 1980's

It was called, Owner of a Lonely Heart. Had a cool video - guy was "seeing" things - thought he was going nuts.

Eventually ran off the roof of a building, and on the way down, turned into an eagle.

Not sure, right now, what the name of the "record" was (cd's weren't around much back then).

Hello all. I would like to thank everyone who gave me some input on disortion pedals. I hate the sound of Marshall Amps....personally, so I'm not using one for anyone who thought I was. I am using a Line 6 Spider-II 210, and Fender 900 Deluxe (Dyna-Touch). I went with the 900 Deluxe instead of marshall amps or a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, because I liked the clean channel setting a little better. They both have their own distortion settings and sound great, but I want to create my own sound. Does any one know about chaining? I am thinkin' about jus' doubling up my Ibanez TS-9, because I love it's tone so much. My other choice is usin' a DS-1 and my TS-9 in conjunction with each other. Give me your guys' input it means alot. Thanks and peace!

If Joe ain't using the Ds1 on the Jsx, how can he get any distortion before the Digitech Whammy Pedal???; cause the JSX ultra and crunch channels comes after the Digitech Whammy Pedal.

Jelly - I'm talking about theeeeeeee Schenker... the blonde boxhead with a flying V, cocked wah who is in my opinion one of the first "in-flight" shredders that played soaring solos..

stevee T - Taxi sounds interesting... if it's ok with you... we'll talk more on this when my album is ready.... thanx bro...

my new music will not go onto the internet...
I'll be releasing it on CD...

bahduh - yes... lives are lost... but lost in the most dishonerable fashion...

ETA are no hero's of mine...

optical - now I'm 39... and the reason I have so much "say" over my music is because I'm not signed and doing everything myself.....
yes I'd love to make it my "day job"... but in reality, a record Co would never sign me... I'm simply too old... but that's ok... I'll do it all myself on a tiny scale and maybe my music will at least get to entertain a few.. and for even that little thing, I'll be greatful....
obviously if something bigger ever came of it I'd be over the moon...

thanx for your support and good wishes.....

It's people like you that encourage me that I'm on the right path..

that gives me the strength to never give in...

Zen - a freedom fighters and resistance fighters believe themselve to be under occupation by a foreign power..
they attack the enemy military and government... just like the Greeks and French under Nazi occupation......
to me, this is complteely acceptable...

Terrorists attack civilians and soft targets...... hide.. and run away....

sorry bro.. terrorism is something I have nothing but contempt for..

yoda - variety is definately the spice of life...... this is so good for you... I went though a little phase of learning Martin Taylor stuff... it's really hard... lol...

these days the 90% of the music I play on guitar is actually mine....

Jazzy - for the next thing to work on....take a look at Genocide from Unleashed.....

awesome stuff.................
