"Cuz chickens are decent people."

Ooooooo how I love George Carlin!! Thanks Jazzy. I needed that after watching an extremely sad episode of ER. That's one of my favorite pieces, and I agree wholeheartedly. I knew you'd like the shirts. lol!

Man, I'm 384 posts behind!

Clint, happy belated birthday!! Sorry I missed it. Hope it was a good one :)

Delfino, OMG would ya just look at the face on that kitty!! How cute!!! You do have to give that big mess a good brushing though. lol! He/she is looking a bit ratty. lol! How old is it/he/she?

Austin, more like 'silly poem'. lol! "Don't be a schmo". lmao! But it rhymed so nicely ;-) "Did you add that bit yourself, or is the AP including that now?" Ahh, ya caught me! lol!

Benny, "The Hoo Hoo Hut is not far from Deadman's Knob too! " Do you have any idea how funny that sounds to me? lmao!!!

Why is it that every time I read the name damlmissnamm I start to sing "Damn, this traffic jam, how I hate to be late, time I get home my supper be cold, hurts my motor to go so slow, damn, this traffic jaaaaam." Err something like that. lol!

Steven, G3 Live In Denver is a great Christmas present. You're going to love it!

Jay Leno - "Are the women of Fallujah called falluzies?"

60 posts to go yet. I'll try again tomorrow.

"Why is it so, that in the name of the 'freedom of speech', there is so much bad news released in public medias -including morning news, when children can (will) see the news about all the tragedies (even the smaller ones, which don't have any larger influence in your own country)- ??? "

As Mr. Henley said.

DoTheStu (+ DamIMissNamm) : I'm talking about ethics and moral ..." that is what people want to see" (I don't !) or "we love dirty laundry" (I don't !) or "commercial news-guys would be unemployed without them (bad news)" are all very bad excuses for releasing those kind of bad news which -like I said- don't do you any good (negative news). Simply because even if some people are so stupid that they want to see/hear all that shit, IT STILL ISN'T DOING ANY GOOD for them either! ...and like I said: our kids will see/hear all that shit too! We can't protect them from it and they can't necessarily process that shit.

Austin, the main point in my message was the last sentence: "Think about it!" ...and after all I know I'm fighting against windmills on this issue. Not meaning you guys but the issue itself -> we will always see/hear that shit in this modern world...I just wanted to hear that someone (anyone) in this world thinks like me about this ...am I all alone :-( ...snifff...

I know this wasn't aimed at me, but I thought I'd still answer for you :-)

"Does he do anything other than the main theme? I've heard that...it's pretty cool. I've played the game for a few minutes, but I didn't really hear much of the music.

Theres a bit in one of the later levels (I don't know if you've got that far yet and don't want to describe it and spoil it for ya') where there is a nice 1-2minute piece that sounds very Vai'd, not sure if he actually did it though...but its nice :-).

Michelle lol First of all, tis' a pussy not a ratty :-)

Her name's Ollie, but gets called many other things such as "Oi Porksome" and "Olliephant"...due to size lol.
For a persian she has a rare kind of fur, instead of it being very light and poofy...its really dense and has a natural kink to it so she's like a walking perm lol...obviously we brush her every day to otherwise she'll get all matted (moreso than my other cats) and then she'll have to be taken vets to be shaven (insert shaven pussy jokes here *rolls eyes*)...which would look hilarious what with her abundance of bellies...

I started playing Sim City 4 again this week...it is SO addicting...LOL. Does anyone else here play that game? It's not the same as Halo or GTA, but it's still fun... ;-)

Noppa - I agree with you... I don't want to see that stuff and I don't like it, but millions of other people in the US do like it.

If a media organization stops reporting that stuff, it WILL lose its audience (as long as everyone else is still reporting it). There's no way around it... Everyone would have to make the change (move away from that kind of reporting) at the same time to keep people from losing their audience.

I don't like that side of journalism (I don't want to work in that area after I graduate...), but it's there...and there's not much that can be done about it until the general public "wakes up" so to speak. I honestly don't see that happening any time soon, though.

bahduh - DamIMissNamm's "weak, low-life cowards" comment was referring to the suicide bombers who are linked to Hamas. Strapping explosives to yourself and killing a bunch of innocent people because you disagree with their way of life or their nation's government or military is one of the most cowardly things you can do.
DelfinoPie - Okay, thanks for the extra info...

I don't have an X-Box, so I won't be playing Halo 2 again anytime soon. The only reason I played it on Tuesday was because someone who works for my school's paper brought a six-inch television, an X-Box, and Halo 2 to the newsroom for the day. ;-)

I just bought Halo for PC a few months ago...I'll be happy with that game for at least another six months or so.

...Austin...

An old man was sitting on a bench at the mall. A young man walked up to the bench and sat down next to him. He had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, blue and yellow. The old man just stared. Every time the young man looked, the old man was staring at him. Obviously not embarrassed, and feeling huge about "his societal statement" the youngster said sarcastically, "What's the matter, old timer? Never done anything wild in your life?" Without batting an eye, the old man replied, "Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son.

achoo, yeah my Bass student is no problem - I started him with Octaves, Major and Pentatonic scales, but my new guitar student is more tricky......he's really really beginner.....I started by showing him how to tune the guitar from string-to-string, which took about 15 minutes, then gave him E, A and G chords which took the other 45 minutes. As I suspected, teaching a beginner is much harder than teaching somebody with a little experience!

Delfino, yeah man, I just got to the bit where you're the arbiter and you're encountering the Flood again....gone down the long, long circular lift and am upstairs of a rectangular room with lotf of Flood in! hehe.

I've been listening out for the Vai bits...they rock, I think I'll probably get the soundtrack!

Oh, as I understand it, any time you hear a guitar in Halo 2, it's Steve playing it.

Zinc Master, funnily enough, shortly after I sent my mail saying "fuck off" in response, I got 10 - 20 mails a day in my bulk folder, from these random addresses, for about 2 weeks. I e-mailed yahoo! mail services about it and I thinky they must have sorted it, cause I just get about 2 a day now which is average! Yahoo! Mail is ace......they upgraded my mail account to 100mb for free.....WTF?!
Austin, yeah the game soundtrack is peppered with stuff from Dr Vai, it's really cool.
Now that Palestine is minus it's leader, is this going to be the opportunity that Bush takes to flatten palestine and let his friends in Israel take the West Bank?

I'm unsure myself, cause there's a not a whole lot of Oil in Palestine.....
