There once was an Indian whose given name as "Onestone", so named because he had only one testicle.

He hated that name and asked everyone not to call him Onestone.

After years and years of torment, Onestone finally cracked and said, "If anyone calls me Onestone again I will kill them!"

The word got around and nobody called him that any more.

Then one day a young woman named Blue Bird forgot and said, "Good morning, Onestone." He jumped up, grabbed her and took her deep into the forest where he made love to her all day and all night. He made love to her all the next day, until Blue Bird died from exhaustion.

The word got around that Onestone meant what he promised he would do.

Years went by and no one dared call him by his given name until a woman named Yellow Bird returned to the village after being away for many years. Yellow Bird, who was Blue Bird's cousin, was overjoyed when she saw Onestone. She hugged him and said, "Good to see you, Onestone." Onestone grabbed her, took her deep into the forest, then he made love to her all day, made love to her all night, made love to her all the next day, made love to her all the next night, but Yellow Bird wouldn't die!

What is the moral of this story? ' ' ' 'OH, 'Come on'...take a guess! ' Think about it ... ' ' ' (You're going to love this!) ' ' ' And the moral is .. ' ' '

'You can't kill two birds with one stone.

That one has gone around a few times - each times I get a laugh out of it.

Not sure if it is true or not - probably is.

GuitarsRule: Heavy Metal isn't dead! Glad to hear that. I went to your SoundClick -page and pressed the "all songs in one go (hi-fi)" -button when my wife interrupted me with 'something really important that happened...or almost happened today...or at least is about to happen someday...perhaps'. So the first tune went pass me (from the left), but when I heard the second one I thought: you shure have listened your Megadeaths! ...and that was before I had rolled the page down to see that it wasn't the 2nd song from up ("My Right Element"), but the 2nd from down ("Nuclear Rust (Megadeth tribute)") :-o (the songs loaded in reverse order to my Winamp) -> Good work!

You wanted to know what we people think about your new tune "Peace, harmony & Guitars" ...well, first of all: the name: interesting that the word harmony doesn't start with a capital...not very American/English style (haaa, you're from Sweden)...there is this weird habbit of writing every word starting with a capital or every word without a capital (I dunno if it's the will of the artists or the record companies? ...or is it just playing safe not to make misspellings? ...note: anybody please don't bother correcting my mistakes, for English isn't my mother tongue). Anyway, not doing so gives you more possibilities to really describe something on the title as means of expression. Then of course the song/tune should match the title. Does this one match? ...I find Peace on the theme (nice vibrato you have) ...harmony I hear with those two guitars on the first half of the tune ...and I do hear a lot of Guitars (with a capital): good timing, good rhytming (structurally), good tones (getting some nice variation on it with using different technics), good using of that...ummm...what the fuck ever is that stick called with what you can bend the strings...

...but, don't get too carried away ...here comes the (constructive, I hope) criticism: on some parts while hearing A LOT of Guitars, they didn't remind me about Peace...or harmony (speed and good style don't always fit in the same studio -> quit listening Yngwie) ...same thing with the drum programming: the bass drum is too restless on some peaceful parts (on the other hand it's delicious indeed in some parts!). This is a minor problem which you can easily solve by engaging a real drummer (not only meaning just any human, but somebody with good style)....

...This valuation/criticism is quite suitable for all your tunes, BUT...
...in all I'd say: I like your music! I hope you'll find a playing-style of your own. Keep up the good work!

bahduh, hi, how are things? well, I'm not really related to Seve Ballesteros, the golf champion, it's a common surname in Spain especially in Madrid, there are loads of Ballesteros here he he
And I don't like golf very much, I think it's boring and too expensive for me. And that little white ball makes me soooo nervous LOL. I prefer riding my bike...
Talking about the album In from the Storm, I remember an interview with the producer Eddie Kramer on TV, back in 1995, and he said that one of Jimi Hendrix's wishes was to record his music by a symphonic orchestra. This album satisfies to some extent that wish. Vinnie Moore is not in it.Link for more info
IMHO It would have been simply perfect if Joe had been in this album but well...his friend and most outstanding former guitar student is there :-). An interesting album.

Russell Carpenter, about the song "The Journey", I perceive more a spiritual journey than a phisical journey but I don't know...it's simply art

Greetings from Spain to all the T2J community and to you, JOE!

Civgeek, I did a few stupid things as a kid too, but nothing like that. To me it's equivalent to messing up tombstones, and that's really, really low.

Yoda, it's your Reading's sister city in Pennsylvania. It's in Berks County :) I was born and raised there, and I have grown up looking at those monuments and statues in the park. It's a damn shame.

I'll catch up later -
