962 - I thought that the hi-pass filter was a capacitor soldered across 2 pins of the volume pot.. and I didn't think it needed to be a push - pull.... I think the push pull means that you can choose to use the filter or not...
Avarice does not have a push-pull but does have the hi pass filter fitted [just like the Universe and all the JEMs]
SteveeT - I'll be selling Shredz via my web site once I get it set up..
cuthbert / Yoda - that geezer talks about dinosaurs on Noah's Ark...
sorry... I just want a pint of what he's drinking...
does the bible describe the mass extinctions... like the really bad one which killed of 95% of all life on earth... I think it's called the "Permian Extinction".. I could we'll be wrong, but if memory serves, it occured around 500 million years ago.. it predates the Jurassic by a few hundred million years... [so it's a pre-dinsosaur event..]
sorry bro, but this particular biblical view is not convincing me... however there are many interpretations of the Old Test that are very interesting... even if they may seem a little far fetched..
on the Yes thing... my fave is without doubt Yessongs....
oh yeah... and Going for the One... lol... I forgot about that ojne... and it's really cool... lmao..
mikesb - if I can get there I will... don't forget I'll be doing the day job.. so this is not really a 'fun' trip... as much as I'd love it to be that way..

Zen, I came last March!! Damn expensive at Club Med.. Mr Nick, do not know whose version of the Laxative song you heard, but Donovan (Leitch) recorded and released the original back in 1973 on "Cosmic Wheels" Guitarmeister, if you like Lizzy's Jailbreak, check out "Black Rose" the tightest and tastiest dual harmonies ever recorded. Lottsa talk bout Yes and prog lately. I saw a staggering DVD this past weekend. Steve Hackett live in Japan 1996 with Wetton on bass/vocals, Ian MacDonald on every instrument known to mankind but particularly sax and flute (MacDonald is a phenomenal musician) Chester Thompson on skins and some dude named Colbeek (sp?) on keys. They played a loada Genesis and King Crimson tunes as well as some Asia pieces and some nice Hackett solo classical pieces. Hackett was using primarily a black Les Paul with a trem.. Excellent concert, Wetton's voice in fine form and a great job of copying Lake vocals on older Crimson pieces..

Joe, I was at your show in Columbus OHIO, Oct 2004. I had the Platinum Tickets. Backstage/meet & Greet. They cost me $200.00. NJot really worth it due to the fact that we where told we would have our pictures of us with you within 7 to 10 days. WELL, it has been a month and still NOTHING. So once I recieve my pictures, then I will be glad I paid the $200.00. Till then VERY DISAPPOINTED.

962 & Clarky......thanks for the info....
Joe......I don't know what your opinion is on bands covering a couple of your songs, but we played "With Jupiter In Mind" and "Is There Love In Space" on Saturday night and the crowd went "Bezerko" !!! I can hardly put into words how fun it is to play your music...let alone listen to it...! If it bothers you that we play your stuff (and we're certainly not getting rich doing it)....just say the word. SD

I received an email from fanfare within 5-6 days of the concert.
They gave me a link to go to get my pictures.
The email was sent to the account I gave when I ordered the Platinum package.
I can send you my link privately if you want - it is listed by date, most likely.

~Mayday, mayday, it's my payday and I've already spent all the money~
...naaah, not really, but I'm just listening my new "ENGINES OF CREATION"-cd ! "CHAMPAGNE?" is on right now (2nd listening) and it made me wanna sing this little payday rhyme...(you should hear, how I'm drumming my desktop))to-)top)tot-)to-)toptop) -- - -- - ~man I'm good, I'm,,,so good I'm!~ .....uhmm, sorry...
...finally had to give up my prejudice and prejudge...had listened only few clips earlier... Enjoying, fully...this is GOOD! Joe: ...sorry, thanks and see ya'!
DoThe Stu: You (and MegaBoyd) saw THE DIXIE DREGS live last year...cool ! Do you know what was the composition of the band??? No, I don't have that "Sects, Dregs and Rock 'n' Roll" -dvd by Steve Morse... someone (here, if I remember correct) told me it wouldn't be worth the money (or something like that), so...now I have to re-think about it (perhaps on the next payday ;-)
richo: Hi there! STEVE MORSE playing Ozzy songs "FLYING HIGH AGAIN" and "CRAZY TRAIN" with these guys on a project like this!?!
...and they've just released a DVD as well ! ...However the guitar tone made me suspicious...and where would Steve have had the time for doing this?...still, would they have the balls to publish this big a lie? ...naaah! Interesting, indeed -> thanx for the tip!
Zenfish: check out civgeek's message (two after your latest)! ...See, they're great ;-)
civgeek: Just saw an interesting Europian label's (from Netherlands) "I don't know what the fuck"-version of "Night of the living Dregs" at the record shop two hours ago: 11 tunes, different ones (some) than in the original, all live, not any information about the time and the place of recording??? Weird!
Everybody: Until I freak out again!

Clarky, yeah that's right actually, you don't have to use a push-pull for the hi-pass. You can have it as unoptional, but the use of a push-pull makes it optional. I would personally go with the push-pull option, just for the versatility. Wih a clean tone, I'd generally want the hi-pass switched on when I roll the volume off, but with gain I would sometimes want it off as a quick way to smooth the tone off.

ZENFISH- I have HUGE dreams! Very unlikely any will happen. But I am very optimistic! and never say never..When I found out I had "two small a hands to player" and that My disabilities would get in the way!...I was even more detremined to try and play a few chord's and stuff...I was great at Motorcycle racing because I tried real hard! I have much tenacity and I was good!...I would like to prove to Myself that My brain damage will not hold Me back in My effort to make music...On whatever level! That's how come I believe that ZENFISH will make it! You have earned Your dues! and work hard at Your sound and make Music Your life!...That's Why I really look up to guy's like You and PAUL CLARK, and MARK LONDON, and ALAXANDRE, and a few other's! You guy's truly are Genius's!...and have great personality's! Please dont stop! Thank You, and all for being inspiration to Me!...Also I will be really hoping and praying that You will find the awesome drummer you deserve and that Your band will go the directction You want it to!..Cheer's My Man!..........You Guy's Jam!!!..................................................SUZIE2000- I hope You have sucess with Your computer! I sure hope things work out quick! See Ya' Steven.

Michelle- I've seen STOMP on telly, but not live- bet it was good. They're pretty clever!
Steven- meant to say, the computer has now stopped going into safe mode all the time, but keeps shutting itself down at irritatingly random moments, usually when I'm in the middle of sending an e-mail or paying a bill!!
