can anyone please help me ....someone very close of mine wants some info on something...... .it is about a certain "STING" album...sting from "THE POLICE" ...... it is a tribute to hendrixx..the name of the album is"in from the storm",,,,the name of the song is "the wind cries mary".......can anyone please tell me the name of the guitarist in the song.....austin,du yu read me bro',,,help wanted.any info will be appreciated.

bahduh, that guitarist is JOHN MCLAUGHLIN, I have the album and it's excellent from beginning to end.
It's not a Sting album, it's a tribute to Jimi Hendrix with orchestral arrangements featuring great guitarists like Steve Lukather, Brian May, Steve Vai...

Stevee T - Hi! It's twenty past one in the afternoon. For lunch I had a roast chicken and bacon sandwich, with Cranberry sauce, salad, and sage and onion seasoning. The bread was from a fresh farmhouse loaf and I sliced it myself - nice and thick!!! To drink I had a bottle of Diet Coke with lemon; which I've just remembered I didn't finish!!! Thanks for taking a slightly creepy interest... lol

Master Yoda, were there two guitarists or just Norum? There were rumours of both Norum and Marcello playing some gigs although I think Marcello is concentrating on his solo thing. You are bang on about Norum, he was always a very tastey soloist in that classic Schenker/ Vandenberg european rock style although he could also do a mean Thin Lizzy / Gary Moore copy, both vocals and solos.... Always loved Norum's cover of Lizzy's "Wild One"
SOTD, "Be Careful With a Fool" from the very first Columbia Johnny Winter album, recorded in 1968/69 but still damned exciting to listen to till this day....

A man went into a pharmacy and asked to talk to a male pharmacist.
The woman he was talking to said that she was the pharmacist and that she and her sister owned the store, so there were no males employed there.
She then asked if she could help the gentleman.
The man said that it was something that he would be much more comfortable discussing with a male pharmacist.
The female pharmacist assured him that she was completely professional and whatever it was that he needed to discuss, he could be confident that she would treat him with the highest level of professionalism.
The man agreed and began by saying, "This is tough for me to discuss, but I have a permanent erection. It causes me a lot of problems and sever embarrassment. So I was wondering what you could give me for it."
The pharmacist said, "Just a minute, I'll go talk to my sister."
When she returned, she said, "We discussed it at length and the absolute best we can do is, 1/3 ownership of the shop, a company car, and $3,000 a month living expenses."

whats up!, joe.... look man im just starting to know about you. I recently bought the anthology and may i say that you are the greatest guitarris i've ever heard. if my english is not well please excuse me Im a puertorrican!!
Since i bought my guitar i wanted to play a different type of music i wanted to join JAZZ, BLUES,ROCK n' ROLL, and contemporany sh!@, and guess what???......... you became now a big influence on me. IM trying so hard and I am learning from myself I buy books and stuff. Wow, I just finished watching the new DVD release of Gary Moore Live at Montreaux 1990/1997. The version of "The Messiah Will Come Again" from 1990 is simply staggering. The inclusion of that song alone makes this set better overall than the 1990 video release of the Midnight Blues Band. Gary looks cool in the 1997 songs....

Do The Stu Yeah I think that the song I was talking about was the one you said it was, it with "Silent Night"...I couldn't quite put my finger on where it was from at first but after you mentioned it I listened through and sure enough it was...ta, I can now sleep again at night :-)

pp0 here guys did you guys see the guitar one mag. just came out. 10 worst tons of all time and satrianis is on the list. i dont like it when i see things like that it drives me crazy people that dont have a clue what there talking about lets e mail guitaone and give it to them. i know u might think its not worth it but he is are man and the last issu satriani was on the list for the shitest solos and the song there were talking about was crying. i all most cryed when i saw the list it gets me mad it should be aganist the law to say things about satriani that dont make sense.
