Joe, I heard Crying in 1993 and have been in love since. I recently enjoyed you in New Orleans and I am so looking forward to seeing you on New Year's Eve in Ventura. You are the best!

lol, i agree mohawk, but him playing with the philharmonic orchestra isnt fiery or his usual stuff, its far more classical, and sounds really amazing, but yeah some of his stuff u do need to sip before u gulp, u might burn ure throat otherwise, but alot of his stuff can (like of course Joe's amazing playing) b appreciated and enjoyed by everyone, cos its so beautiful.
lol, im 2 serious at the moment, but really wont b any kind of waste if u get him playing with the orchestra, ull love it!!
take care guys, im off 2 bed, kinda tired...

Nass, oh yes, I agree, Yngwie is amazing. But IMHO, his latest albums are not as good as his previous, he repeats himself a lot. I think Yngwie needs to develop his talent further away. At this point Joe & Steve wins. But anyway I was watching the other day his DVD Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra and it's thrilling.
mohawk, I think he's one of the few hard neo-classical guitarists who has real feeling. He's capable to play superfastly but still with feeling.

Eddie Van Halen for G3?....hells no!!!
I think Zakk Wylde, Yngwie and Van Halen should have their own tour and call it "clash of the ego's." I could volunteer as moderator.
Why did EVH break 2 guitars??? Man, that really sux!!! I worked for 6 months non stop to afford an electric guitar with an amp and this ass breaks his in a few hours!!!
life's not fair, and lindsay lohan isnt mine :(

Thanks for the reminder (link) I have to apply for the permit by Jan 15. Have you ever been to the BWCA? I've been going for thirty years, and I still look forward to the trip every year. Before the government annex the land and mad it into the BWCA, my grandfather had a cabin on four Town Lake. We used to fly in for a month in the summer. Grandpa would stay out there all summer and fall pretty much by himself. Those were the days running through the woods, fishing and swimming. Now I have to get a permit, leave the boat motor at home and sleep on a rock for two days. I still love the area though. Stay safe.

Awwwwww Jazzzzzzy don't be so hard on Eddie! He's a real manic guy though, and have often wondered if has an undiagnosed condition - he has all the signs of someone with manic depression / bi-polar disorder.
I agree though, I doubt EVH would do G3!

Tool,
Thanks for the heads up on CD Baby...I'll check you guitar work right after I've finished this email.
How many copies of your CD's did you need to give them as a starting minimum?
What percentage of your Sales are they taking....50%?

Michelle - thanks! Don't think it is bronchitis, seems to be gradually getting better, anyway!
Hi Steven!! My piano practice has gone to pot a bit over the past 2 days- must re-motivate myself for the exam!! It's not long now and I'm desperately trying not to bottle it...!

Zinc, AT is more than just alright, he is da man and a hell of a nice guy as well (contrary to what people think about Indianans primarily coz of that smartass David Letterman) AT is from Evansville...... Regarding YJM and "feeling", I said it before and I'll say it again, check out "Spanish Castle Magic" on the Live in Leningrad Video/DVD/CD, probably the best EVER version of that particular song (sorry Jimi, sad but true)

Jazzzzzzzy, I do know what you mean about that guitar... but I'll still always love Eddie's playing- he's got a lot of heart, which comes out through his music, I think. :-)

I am not at all confident with the Shakespeare side of my English exam in January...I think back over the book of "Much Ado About Nothing" and can't help but picture the words "What The F*CK!!!"...in red lettering...underlined 3 times....outlined in black...
I'm reasonably confident with media as I recently got two B+ grades for my piece on the under-representation of Black superheroes, and for my comparison of "The Matrix" to "BladeRunner"...media is pretty easy though in my opinion...English used to be easy, but thats when the syntax made sense in the books we were reading.
Not feeling good at all right now...

“When the night falls, the big moon’s gonna rise. You can look right up, see it in the sky. Makes me feel like I’m going to blow a fuse. I start to shiver and shake with a strange kind of blues.
...but I like it.
I see it now the moon is high above. It’s got a hold on me, I just can’t get enough. Big, round, black and white, I feel the pull, I see the light. Big bad moon’s looking down on me tonight.
...but I like it.
When the moon comes, got nowhere to hide. It can turn your head around like it turns the tide. Man, woman, boy, child. makes you feel like you were born wild. The big bad moon’s looking down on me tonight.
...but I like it. ...i like it.
Talkin’ ’bout big bad moon Ooh yeah big bad moon Talkin’ ’bout big bad moon Ooh yeah...”

Stevee T - Sounds good man. Tonight I'm transcribing a bunch of John Petrucci solos by ear, with no slowing down software. So far I've done Another Day and Erotomania. They weren't easy, I can tell you...

Jazzzzzzzy- Eddie still ROCKS though!!!! OK, he may have done that to the guitar... but I still love his playing. That's all that really matters to me!
He's a very eccentric guy, I think!!
