zen - the grief me and my lil' primary school pals were exposed to was way way before Maggie came to power..

little by little... Shredz is getting there.... when it's done... believe me.. no one will be more relieved than me... lmao..

after that I'll hope to be knocking loads of new stuff out...

cuthbert - I believe that the 'Noah' account describes the dreadful events that were passed on by word of mouth as legend for several thousands of years when the last ice age thawed... there would have been by far the worst flooding, storms and natural chaos that mankind has ever seen seen.. this could well have been the time that saw the Atlantic overflowing into the 'middle land'... forming the Mediteranian Sea.... similar stories of chaos poplulate myth and legend all around the word that appear to describe the same event.. and the retreating ice sheets would have been a truely global calamity driving every living thing the the very limits of existance....
962 - personally I prefer switches to push-pull pots... 'cos they're easier to get at... especially when performing..
Suzi - I'm trying to grab an MP.3 of the guitar music during the credits....
because I really really love it... it's a work of pure genius..

and I want the band to play a cover version of it...

the fact that you found the tab of this simply amazes me... lmao...

climber - Your track sounds cool... This mix is better than the mix of the other song you posted recently...

962 - "F-Spaced means Floyd-Spaced."

Ah, Floyd-Spaced, not Fender-Spaced... Cool.

richo - Thanks for that link. I wanted to buy that album a while back, but I completely forgot about it... ;-)
Noppa - I saw the same lineup that you mentioned in your other post (Morgenstein, LaRue, Lavitz, Goodman, and Morse)... They played an AWESOME instrumental version of The Yardbirds' Shapes Of Things.

I just looked at Steve Morse's website, and it looks like The Dixie Dregs will be playing some California shows again this January. Woohoo... :-)

"I don't have that "Sects, Dregs and Rock 'n' Roll" -dvd by Steve Morse... someone (here, if I remember correct) told me it wouldn't be worth the money"

There are two versions of the DVD (I think). The first is the one that the band sold at their shows. It contained a full Dixie Dregs show, some acoustic Steve Morse stuff, an interview, an "instructional" guitar video, some Deep Purple footage and interviews, and some other stuff. This is the version I have...it's well worth the money.

The second version that is out there only has the full Dixie Dregs show. It has two audio tracks (5.1 and 2.0)...the first version only has a 5.1 track. The show is awesome...so it's still worth your money to buy this version. The first version is the best deal, though.

Clarky - Hop across the pond and see the Sponge Bob movie in theaters...you can hear Avril Lavigne do the theme. ;-)

...Austin...

I have a problem, when I use the wammy bar on my guitar and I go real hard, the other strings start vibrating and it sounds like crap, and when I watch Vai or Satch play and they use the wammy bar hard it doesn't pick up the other strings vibrations. Is there some kind of effect that they are using?

hello... hope all is going well with everyone... things have been a bit crazy on this end... got a cold this weekend which was lots of fun when trying to finish a paper on nyquil :) had a bit of a problem with the electrical outlets in the kitchen yesterday so i decided to investigate and started playing around in the fuse box (probably not my smartest idea) decided there was a short somewhere so called the matinence staff to come fix it today... they assured me that they would be here between 8 and 12, they showed up at 2:30 changed a block of fuses and declared that all was fixed... tonight i go into the bedroom turn on a lamp and the light goes dimmer so i shut it off because i can hear zapping and crackling coming from the fuse box, open it up and see blue and orange sparks! lol... so i call back the matinence guys (its now 10:15pm) and the guy comes out tells me that he is just going to change something else around and that tomorrow they will come back to fix everything and possibly reaplace the whole box, but dont worry it SHOULD be fine for the night ( as he checks the smoke alarm on his way out the door) I swear an active imagination is not always a good thing.... now i will be picturing all the things that could happen :)

school is winding down so the mad dash for getting papers and research finished has just begun... getting excited about the iceland trip... found out my best friend just got engaged... and going to a candlight rememberence service type thingy for my grandpa tomorrow night....whew, caught up...

Hope all in Satchland are healthy happy and doing well....

Rico Thanks for the Steve Morse heads up.

Cuthbert Noah's flood was an old, old tale. There may even be new evidence showing how the Med. Sea over flowed it's banks and flooded the area around the Black Sea. This would explain the tale of the flood as well as some anamolies in the make up of the Black Sea. Remember the Bible is just a book. As is Star Wars.

Clarky - Sing w/ me

Michelle- Holla' back !!

JUJU - Having worked in construction since I was 13, that story scares the crap outta me. If I was you I would make sure all the batteries in my smoke detectors were good. Just in case you need to run you ass out. Good freakin luck!!

Thanks for the inspiration.

Edit-------- A flood always leaves a trail.

History can follow a flood... Water Rages, Grooves and Diminishes...

Water is life, so it always has a Tale.

Yoda……….How are you.

I will try to do this in 3 seperate post.

Read Job chapters 40 and 41, KJV. There are two beast described there that are no longer here. These two animal’s descriptions were once read to an elementary school class. There were many pictures shown to the class, among them an elephant, whale, brontosaurus, T-rex, and a dragon as described from books of first century Europe. When the class was asked as to which of the animals in the pictures were being described the class overwhelmingly picked the brontosaurus, and the dragon. These animals are not seen on the earth today, but were apparently living in the time of Job.

I will try not to make this to terribly long. The point I was trying to make on the post you commented on, is this. Before the early 1880’s, or better said, before Karl Marx and Mr. Darwin. There were very few people that didn’t believe a version of the biblical historic account of history. As the educational systems of the world became more predominant, they became more socialistic and Marxist in their philosophies. After Marx and Darwin wrote their now infamous beliefs. The mainstream educational systems of the world have been slowly but surely indoctrinated to these beliefs. Mr. Marx said on many occasion that he had only two goals in life. De-throne GOD, and to destroy capitalism. Mr. Darwin could only pass one class as I have read of his university days, and that was philosophy. He didn’t have a glue about true science. It is very apparent that the philosophies of these two men now dominate the public educational systems through out the world. There is no GOD and there was no creation. I personally believe the two philosophies in question were thought up by these two men out of their hatred of GOD. I believe Darwin specifically reversed what the bible said in an absolute 180 degrees of what GOD’S word said. To deceive the masses. IMHO

Clint
