Thats ok guys...I wouldn't give it me either lol.
Today the odds have been against me, I get home turn on my amp and get guitarring...5 minutes into warming up and there's a power surge...when my power eventually came back on about 4 hrs later my amp was completely screwed up...and my effects processor...
Then to cap the whole damn thing off I find a Ibanez RG-7 string on Ebay with hardcase, strap, etc...for £275 with no previous bids and 2 days to go :-(...
It just hasn't been my day...

Has Joe ever done a song called "Heavy Metal Christmas"? My friend just told me about it, usually I don't allow people to send me music files over msn, but I really wanted to hear this and see if it was our good friend Joe.
Obviously I'm listening for Joe's tell tale tone, and I have to say it sounds a lot like Joe's writing style...
Just wondering if anyone has ever heard it, or heard of it before?

Zenfish,
You said, "I'm looking for some symbiosis. For, contest shall be the slave of symbiosis. The symbiosis is also a very big principle of life"
And, I agree with you Gestalt is very symbiotic...everything is everything...all related to each other...each atom intermingling...if a Butterfly flaps his wings in South America....

punkdude, ahh cool man! I'd like to hear that cover! Sorry, I'd never heard anything about it before, but now I know why....Thanks!
jelly man, how've you been playing Half Life 2? It's not finished yet is it?! Wossit like?
OCPS470, ha, crazy man......I wonder how much information that gets spread round the world is mistaken?! I'm inclined to go with your Luthier friend on the Fender-spacing thing, cause Fender and Gibson started it all.
So, again, sorry Austin!
I dunno....maybe I just got a sh*t memory. I'm probably going senile.....I'm not even 21 yet. Jeezzz....
Delfino, to my knowledge, no Joe's not done aforementioned song. However, I have a memory like a seive, evidently, so ask Austin! hehe
Suzie, I've never tried one in anger, no. I have to say, they sound awesome.....I mean, massive tone, they seem to cut through anything when you want them to. I just don't like the shape of 'em! I personally find it ugly and uncomfortable, but each to their own.
I saw Wishbone Ash live a few years ago and one of them was using a V. It sounded ace!

Clarky-no-Malarky,
If someone forced you down, and tied you up with leather straps & poured hot wax all over your body...how would you describe the style of music on your new CD Release-Shredz?
stick with me here...it'll all make sense some day.....

Do The Stu : it has to be sex. he starts really soft then get louder and faster, until the solo, where he mixes in dead notes, so it sounds like its going back and forth, and then he cums with the sliding back and forth.

Hi there,
Im writing from New Zealand and am a huge fan, just wondering if you can help me with a question, Im working on speed and accuracy using the chromatic exercise - 1 2 3 4,1 2 3 4etc. and am getting frustrated because it seems like a slow process, can ya tell me if it does actually takes quite a while till it all gels. Currently im doing sixteenth notes in between 88bpm. any tips would be priceless to me.
Thanks
Kerry

GODGUNSGUITARS,
Your idea sounds like a good one.
Looks like t2j Saturated Feedback struck the right chord with everyone...sooooooo...let's be happy with that!
Neither, Joe or Mick have gotten back to me...not that I really expected them to, but think of the clammer it might make if enough Young Guitar Slingin' Guns got wind of the mighty opportunity they'd have to play next to Joe. CD sales...Guitar & Amp Sales might soar, but them again, they'd probably have to go International with the offer, then it would'nt be as fun & cozy for us REAL fans!
I'm finished with that concept...nobody felt comfortable with it, so I won't beat a dead horse.
I'll just join G3, or maybe Tony MacAlpine if he needs someone with some Fur on his....lol ROTFLMAO

keza,
It's been my humble experience that practice makes perfect.
Some have natural talent, some couldn’t buy it!
Don't give up...I practice until the muscles in my hand's hurt.
There was a time that it only took 5 minutes to incur pain, now 3 hours isn't enough...making it more difficult to make time to reach that zone...I'd practice for 12 hours a day, if I didn’t have to earn a living.
Taste & Tone FIRST, and fuck the need for speed until you can say something slow first.
Show me a musician that can grab you with ONE note, like Joe, then you can add the speed.
I'd rather feel one note, than be bored to tears with a flurry of meaningless crap...but that's just one man's opinion.
Hope I've Helped!
Peace, Love & Happiness

GGG - Thanks, that was some very interesting stuff. By the way, I wasn't questioning your beliefs or asking you to clarify the reasoning behind them - I would never do that. The whole 'free will' thign goes both ways!!! I was merely asking for your perspective on stuff.
Jelly - Oh yeah!!! the DT gig. I remember now... Duh... LOL
Austin - yeah, I reckon I agree. Half three is late, but four is defnitely early...

I felt this deserved a separate post:
EUROPE Rocked The Night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking unreal. They played all the classics: Let The Good Times Rock, Rock The Night, Carrie, Sign Of The Times, Wings Of Tomorrow, Cherokee, etc., and of course The Final Countdown...
They also played a shit load of stuff from their new album, which isn't half bad actually. I may well buy it.
Basically, the gig was immense. Best gig I've been to in a long time. John Norum is such a badass player too. The thing that got me the most is that Joey Tempest can still hit the majority of those notes. Rocktastic!!!
So good I even bought the t-shirt!! LOL

Noppa - Cool... It'd be awesome if Steve Morse could play at that festival...
DelfinoPie - Joe recorded "Silent Night / Holy Night Jam" for Steve Vai's Merry Axemas, Volume I. That is the only Christmas song he has recorded.
962 - "So, again, sorry Austin!
I dunno....maybe I just got a sh*t memory."
LOL...it's okay.
I was going by memory as well...I thought I remembered someone mentioning "Fender-spaced" here quite a while back.
"I have a memory like a seive, evidently, so ask Austin!"
Hehehe...what happens when the time comes when I can't remember something? ::shudders:: ;-)
Russell Carpenter - I don't know, man... I still don't hear it. Oh well.

Yoda........ Hello, you didn't offend me or anything. I dropped a bomb with my statements. If one hasn’t researched any of the topics I have, I shouldn’t expect them to understand how I have come to my conclusions without supplying references for them to research for themselves. I believe the Biblical flood can be explained looking at the scars on the earth, and come to a plausible conclusion. I was simply trying without writing a book here, to explain the two origins of philosophy, I believe make up the beliefs systems of the people of the earth. The culmination of Marxism and Darwinism, in a diabolically opposite of the teaching of the bible. One philosophy denying GOD by creating it’s own belief system of the historical origins of the earth, which can be shown to be in exact absolute opposition to the teaching in the bible.
The other philosophy being the word of GOD as documented in the bible. Giving it's account of the history of the earth, the fall of man, and GOD'S plan for redemption.
If you get the time, do a study on the mid-oceanic ridges and the impact craters that have been identified with satellite imagery. Even if you don’t believe as I do, it is still a great research on the age old mysteries to what could have caused these scars and when the events took place. Peace
Clint
