Clarky: Maybe you can ease my fears.....I've been playing for over 8yrs on guitar, and I've never had lingering pain from playing. I hold the guitar high, so there isn't stress on either hands. Now, my usual is to put in at least 2 hours of practice a day, plus any playing I do in the course of teaching and performing. This past week (other than mon, which I put in a 6 hr practice day) I've played 2 hrs per day, but I've been playing a little faster than usual, and I've been sustaining it, and I've been feeling lingering pain (soreness, acing) in my hands and forearms. I'm assuming this is just muscle strain from sustained repetitive speed, but I just wanted to make sure this isn't indicitive of a start of carpal tunnel or tendonitis. neither of the arms have pain at the wrist, they have pain in the middle of the forearm near the pinky side of the arm....so I'm assuming this must not be carpal......also, is there anything diet wise that could cause this? Could my recent lack of sleep be catching up to me? Should I be drinking Gatorade (heard YJM did this and it helped him)? Also, I picking circularly, I've never felt pain from this, but can this be a problem? Thanks man

Steven- No problem, it's a great website with so many great songs on! You and Randell are very talented people, don't forget that! The song was brilliant- wish I could have heard it though my CD player though and not the dumb computer! One day!! Your tone sounded great, by the way. :-)

Hey Joe, Just when you are planning toplay in Canada again besides Toronto and Vancouver (ie, Calgary, Edmonton etc)? the last time you had a tour here was flying in a blue dream era. There is huge support here for ya and it seems we are being left out. Hope you come a visit.

Zenfish thank you for the constructive criticism.. i do agree that the tracks posted are pretty redundant.. with the electronic stuff.. its pretty much one chord. it was an experiment on how far i could take one chord and still be interesting.. i thank you for your kindness..i p romise the next batch will have more chord movement.. :)

bahduh, I'm not sure my friend would like her name on the internet, so I'll have to skip that part. I know she was born in east Africa, then moved to a village in India, then to London after she was married, then here. I forgot to ask her the town she lived in in India. We had a busy night. I don't think she lived in India that long. She had to translate a phone message for me today. I keep getting voice mails on my cell phone from a guy in India. lol! He talks mostly in his language, but says a few things in English. He's called a few times and left messages. I don't have my phone on all the time, and he always seems to call when it's off. He was wishing someone a happy new year in this last message. lol! I feel bad that he's got the wrong number. I wish he would call when I have my phone on so I could tell him. lol!

Sign of the times ~ and a sad one at that. No respect.

Vandals defaced the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in City Park, causing at least $2,000 in damage, according to Reading police. It was the second time this year that the monument has been vandalized, according to Andrew F. Lewandowski, a director of the Berks County Vietnam Memorial Commission.

The vandals took caulk and smeared it on the granite slab bearing the names of fallen soldiers from Berks, on the base of the memorial and on the bronze statue of a soldier, rubbing it into his face, helmet and groin. They also put black wax on the granite steps and one of the benches.

“I was sad when I saw it,” Lewandowski said. “I was a little mad, too, but mostly I was sad. It's too bad the men who died, whose names are on the memorial, aren't here to protect it.”

The memorial, located on the southeast side of the park, was recently cleaned and resealed with caulk before the vandals struck late Monday or early Tuesday. The caulk was still wet, allowing them to smear it.

Anthony S. Mazzamuto, a Reading contractor, had removed the old caulk, cleaned the granite and applied new caulk as part of a $7,000 maintenance contract. He discovered the damage Tuesday about 7 a.m. when he arrived to finish the job. He said he will need a few more days to see if he can fix it.

“It's sad,” Mazzamuto said. “We put a lot of work into this and these people listed on the monument gave their lives and here's somebody putting caulk and wax all over it. It's not like the old times when people had respect. These kids who did this probably don't even realize this thing has meaning.”

On Memorial Day, police discovered that someone had scribbled graffiti on the police memorial, the Christopher Columbus monument, the World War II and Vietnam memorials, and the statues of Reading industrialist Frederick Lauer and President William F. McKinley.

The city Parks Department removed the Memorial Day graffiti. Lewandowski said he could not find anyone in the parks department Tuesday afternoon.

He said he's asked the city to put up no skateboarding signs and urged neighbors and police to be on the lookout for the vandals.

Hey what's up everybody? I just got to the crib from That shit takes 3 1/2 hours to get here from work/school. Man, somethin' got to give in this biz'. I havent been posting lately because I'm trying to pass these classes and get my EjumUcation on.

Megadeth concert this friday and no ticket for me. That sucks long donkey dick. This hoodlum ass city better have some scalpers standinding outside hustlin'. That would be a shame for the concert to be held literaly two blocks away from my job/school and I couldn't go. I would have to kick my own ass for that one. We call that "The Da Dunt Da Dunt." Tickets are sold out online to. Hopefuly someone comes through or dosn't come through rather, so there will be an extra ticket to get off. I have 50 bucks. That would be 20 dollars profit for anyone who would let that go.

Well time to study ya'll, keep it real PEACE
