Jazzzzzzzy,

Yeah, my father wanted to send me into space alright...he was a Commander in the Navy & an Aeronautical Engineer/Senior Project Manager of the LEM vehicle & the F14 fighter jet.

He offered me Annapolis, but I'd had enough of being a Navy brat, so I went to college & then became a Professional Musician...and got into space another way...lol!

I've been finishing the sound bytes for my site today & yesterday & the site should be up early next week...I can't wait the feature track "Amex" needs a simple remix which I'll do tomorrow! Thanks for asking!

Happy Sanxgiving everyone. Happy Turrrkey to all. Everyone nice and full? Jazzzzy, how the colonel treatin' you?

I am thankful that I didn't have to eat 14 inches of raw horse rectum for Sanxgiving, like the episode of Fear Factor a couple of days ago.

No peach cobbler this year. Stuuuu! That's the main reason I decided to go to dinner at the African American side of my family this year. The Latino side cooks better but the desert is of the hook over here.

Hey Guys :-)

Man, I didn't remember why I used to spend so much time in here but the warm welcome has reminded me *blushes*

It's real hard to find the time to keep up in here at the moment but when (eventually) I get on line at home, I'll be back!!

Cube Good news on the T2J stuff man, we could still do with a few more sales though. Looks like I've got the worlds only baseball jersey -ha ha ;-)

ZincMaster These people really are beyond belief sometimes.

Tastey I see that you found it then ! I'll get back to you today.

Clarky Thanks man, I've missed being here, I'll be getting it sorted in the new year, then I'll have the time to sift through your posts for the intelligent bits - lmao. Take it easy man.

Michelle - lol on the monitor radiation, guess that your rosy red cheeks match your eyes now ;-) Get image of you whizzing in for a pit stop on a wheeled chair down a corridor - lol. Don't forget the speed limit in the pit lane or you'll incur a time penalty!

Slanshroom Glad you noticed me bro'. We've converted to broadband at work now, is any of your music still on-line ?

Alexandre Goncalo rocks!!!! I was listening to him only last week. Hope you are good friend, still bringing the sunshine to T2J.

Okay gotta scoot guys, y'all take it easy I'll be back when I can. Have a good weekend. :-)

SteeveT - I was thinking about it... it was a stupid thing for me to say really.... I mean like I'm a Systems Design and Integration guy.. there's no sub-atomic physics in my job either... lol... but it don't stop me reading and studying it...
so I guess the same applies to your Ol' Man....
Rocket Scientist though.. shit he could have some fun with that..... I know I would..
stuff like:
"well it's not exactly rocket science now is it.."
err.. well yes it is.. lol..

jazzy - technically weed is banned already unless you're Jamaican, Dutch or British [caught carrying a quantity for personal usage only..]

so... get the Jamaicans, Dutch and British [with their personal quantities] to colonise Mars....

bring on the Red Weed...
and then the lil' green men.. lol..

vfr - sifting through my posts looking for the intellingent posts may take a while....

you'll need to be sitting comfortably and have a large pot of coffee on the go....

nice to see you back bro...

jazzzzzy and suzie, I dunno, but maybe you have to download the Soundclick enhanced mp3 player before you can download the mp3's? It kinda sucks, cause the player is 7MB, but that's no problem for you guys with cable or broadband I guess!

Anyway, try that maybe!

jazzzzzy, thanks dude, for putting a link up! And also, no I don't think KFC should deep-fry a whole turkey, but I think they probably will! hehe

by the way...."simon OWNS Stu Hamm"....haha, that's really funny! thanks bro!

suzie, aww thanks, you're too kind! You keep on rockin too, right?!
mikesb, happy half-k!
Pfields, basically, the JS100 is the low-budget version of the proper JS. The JS1000 and JS1200 are almost exactly the same the....the only difference being the colour, and the JS1200 has a slightly different neck pickup.

The JS2000 has the same pickups and wiring as the JS1000, but it has a fixed bridge, and it's a different colour. I think it's kinda odd.....the fixed bridge works nicely and is great for fine tuning, but a JS just isn't the same without it's trem/whammy bar/wang bar....whatever you wanna call it!

I'd personally recommend the JS1000, cause it's a beauty to play and to look at, and because of the arrival of the JS1200, it's got cheaper!

Capri_korn_guy, welcome to t2j!
VFRocker, good to see you around again dude!

The Baptist - last night I was still trying to cut the tricky lick in The Beheading of John the Baptist...
so once I'd learned the lick from the demo I did the usual.. slowed it right down to about 1/2 tempo and started working on it..
the lick is quite long and a bit of a handful..
it's a mix of alternate picking, non-alternate picking, legato and sweeping.. and not in that order either...
as usual the tricky part is the transition between techniques.. and to add to it the fingering is a bit of a "tongue twister" in places [if that makes any sense.. lol]

so.. after 650 million zillion squillion takes I still hadn't cut it... I got real close several million zillion squillion times... good enough for the stage... not good enough under the scrutiny of the studio.....

and then... just as I was thinking.. "fuck it.. I'm off to bed.."

I played the lick.. I felt so amazingly relaxed... if and all of a sudden I felt as though I was playing in slow motion.. like I had loads of time... it didn't feel quite so frantic and rushed...
crazy... for that one take it just rolled off the fingers and felt easy.... so obviously that was the "good take"....

then I had a few more goes at it and it went back to being hard again...lol....
but that really was a strange experience... when something that was taking me right to the ragged edge... and then all of a sudden having all the time in the world....

maybe for that fleeting moment my technique shifted up a gear t a place that it's never been before....
if that's what's happening then I'll not complain.. lmao...
