962 lol...I've only met a few feminists in my life...and I'd say 4/5 pissed me off lol...
Anywayz, hopefully I'll be able to get a track recorded some time before christmas...might be christmas themed...might be in a country-rock style lol...might be a mixture of both...might be a mixture of country and techno who knows...I'm in a very musically-flakey mood... :-)

Hello Joe hows is it going. I hope you and the band are all okay. Im am quite new to this as I am a reasonably new fan. I think your music is awe inspirating and I have enjoyed watching and listaning to as much as I can get hold of. If you have any tips on how to play your music I would be grateful as I have only mastered a few bits and pieces, like the intro to circles. Thank you for your time and I will keep my ear out for upcoming events in the UK I think the nearest is Birmingham. Cheers.

Lulu.. the evil which.. biting the heads off of babies in the mosh pit whilst an evil dwarf bangs her up the hula.. lmao...
the evil dwarf has to be Dio... lmao..
Zen - I'm not saying that I don't like anything else by Satch.. I was just pointing out the bits that really stood out to me...
Check out Tender Surrender by Vai... [if you haven't already that is]... that track is right up your street... jazzy blues rock...
and Vai proving that not only does he have soul... but he has it in abundance... more so than most..
Lulu - get your kit off.... now bend over...

Zen, you somehow need to be able to listen to records by Andy's blues group "Pawn Kings", they have two CD's intelligently named Pawn Kings and Pawn Kings Live, before we can have any serious discussion about Andy's blues. I have to admit that even listening to the Live Pawn Kings, it does not do enough justice to what I actually saw live in Dallas one fortunate evening (fortunate for me not Andy lol)

Yes Clarky, I am convinced that Lulu, in all her baby-doll splendour is ultimately responsible for everything, including Evanescence' suicide coated Gothic teenage angst... I mean come on, "To Sir With Love", what was all that really about anyway......

Zinc, what we owe to our maternal units:
WHAT WE OWE OUR MOTHERS
1. My mother taught me TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE.
"If you're going to kill each other, do it outside. I just finished cleaning."
2. My mother taught me RELIGION.
"You better pray that will come out of the carpet."
3. My mother taught me about TIME TRAVEL.
"If you don't straighten up, I'm going to knock you into the middle of next week!"
4. My mother taught me LOGIC.
" Because I said so, that's why."
5. My mother taught me MORE LOGIC.
"If you fall out of that swing and break your neck, you're not going to the store with me."
6. My mother taught me FORESIGHT.
"Make sure you wear clean underwear in case you're in an accident."
7. My mother taught me IRONY.
"Keep crying and I'll give you something to cry about."
8. My mother taught me about the science of OSMOSIS.
"Shut your mouth and eat your supper."
9. My mother taught me about CONTORTIONISM.
"Will you look at that dirt on the back of your neck!"
10. My mother taught me about STAMINA.
"You'll sit there until all those peas are gone."
11. My mother taught me about WEATHER.
"This room of yours looks as if a tornado went through it."
12. My mother taught me about HYPOCRISY.
"If I told you once, I've told you a million times. Don't exaggerate!"
13. My mother taught me the CIRCLE OF LIFE.
"I brought you into this world and I can take you out."
14. My mother taught me about BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION.
"Stop acting like your father!"
15. My mother taught me about ENVY.
"There are millions of less fortunate children in this world who don't have wonderful parents like you do."
16. My mother taught me about ANTICIPATION.
"Just wait until we get home."
17.. My mother taught me about RECEIVING.
"You are going to get it when you get home!"
18 My mother taught me MEDICAL SCIENCE.
"If you don't stop crossing your eyes, they are going to freeze that way."
19. My mother taught me ESP.
" Put your sweater on; don't you think I know when you are cold?"
20. My mother taught me HUMOR.
"When that lawn mower cuts off your toes, don't come running to me."
21. My mother taught me HOW TO BECOME AN ADULT.
"If you don't eat your vegetables, you'll never grow up."
22. My mother taught me GENETICS.
"You're just like your father."
23. My mother taught me about my ROOTS.
"Shut that door behind you. Do you think you were born in a barn?"
24. My mother taught me WISDOM.
"When you get to be my age, you'll understand"
25. And my favorite: - My mother taught me about JUSTICE.
"One day you'll have kids and I hope they turn out just like you!"

For those of us who have been through or are going to college.
It is funny as an older student to watch some of the younger people trying to "find themselves" through being either very outrageous(as outrageous as Portland can be) or through being overly serious and feeling the need to protest and march Blah,Blah,Blah. So, we had to do a pursuasive speech in class and people were picking topics like abortion, stem cell research, milk consumption, fairly heavey subjects. So in my older and "I found myself in the 80's" wisdom, I did mine on the Artichoke. I told them about the nutritional value, the fun while eating and it only took a couple of hours of research. I closing I'd like to say "Go eat yourself an Artichoke! They're delicious!"
Clarky - I read most of that article. Some people are a crack up. I think that guy saw too many James Bond movies. That's the only way to explain the facination with BI. And what friggin' difference did it make to anything the Epstein was gay. Kieth Richards is on dope because he's STUPID, or a sissy that can't deal with reality or both. You definately hit it on the head about serious people being the funniest. Nothing is funnyer than real life. ie The Darwin Awards. Thems is my kinda people!!

Clarky - Holy shit!!!! Seems to me that Ben Gunn dude needs to do some serious fact based research before he writes his next article; not just go and talk to a bunch of Bible Belt Rednecks!!!! Fuck me, that was funny!!!
Delfino - Seeing you mention the word 'country-rock' reminds me about my little promise to you!!! LOL. I will record those samples; I promise. Hopefully tomorrow.

Hey T2J,
How’s everyone doing? It’s been an exciting couple of months for me. I’ve been busy as heck with music lately, I’ve gone from playing in bar bands to playing with a singer that’s signed to Warner/ Hi Bias & a couple of weeks ago I placed a demo of my instrumental cd (by request) in the hands of an A&R rep from Universal Music Group. I don’t think anything will come of it but at least it’s a foot in the door.
Anyhow enough about me, I thought this might be a post topic……. What guitar (or bass) is your personal EVO? Every musician usually has 1 or 2 instruments that mean the world to them. For me it’s my Fender Strat & my Peavey Wolfgang. There is just some sort of magic mojo in these 2 guitars for me & they’re probably the only material possessions of mine that I’d be devastated if anything happened to.
So my question to all of you is what is your EVO ????
