Chron- I agree
Austin-I would like to.My Job sucks, they don't allow time off in Dec or Jan.I might just quit and go back to teaching guitar, but I dunno if I could find enough students around here.We shall see.

mikesb, man the one thing that got me, when browsing Andy's board, was envy....all these people talking about their Ibanez AT300's, made me really envious! hehe, I want one!
Delfino, country techno....haha, there's always time for that. "Cotton Eye Joe" anyone?
danny k, for me, it's my Strat. Actually, it's not mine, and it's not a Strat. It's a silver-series squier, and it was my dad's, until he died. I would be at a total loss if it got nicked. It's hardly a valuable guitar, but it means so much for me to play it - he set it up better than anyone could have, it plays like a dream, evn if it is, like, 8 years old. I put Fender Custom Shop pickups in it to give it more of it's own character, tho I had to go with Fat 50's, and they're a tad too twangy, but great for a crisp clean tone.
I also took the scratch plate off it and got it signed by Joe, Steve, Billy, Jeff, and Igor Belsky, so I had to put a replacement on it, but replacement PU's and scratch-plate were both things my dad wanted to do!
sorry, long-ass response of the year award goes to me I guess. hehe
jazzzzzzy, haha, those photos are great! The ones of Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne and Kirk Hammet are particularly good! oh and Dexter Holland!
Austin, haha, I think I got 6 bucks lyin around......will that help? You know, a 944 isn't as expensive as you'd think.....then again, I don't know how much they are in the US.....I'd guess between 6 and 10 thousand dollars, which is, indeed, expensive.
I want a 944.....that's my realistic goal! hehe. My unrealistic goal is something like a porsche Carrera GT, or a 911 GT1, or a Dauer 962LM, which is a snip at 1.5 million USdollars! ouch!

Hey I just joined and I hope to have a great time on the site. Just a few weeks ago for my birthday I got a used JS100 and it's awsome, i got it for 450 at guitar center in springfeil NJ. I've been playing it almost everyday. Also on friday I got Boss's new pedal call the RC-20XL, it's a loopstation and it's awsome. Joe is my 2nd favorite guitarrists after SRV.

962- Thankyou! Moving house can nearly drive you to the brink. Your rational side of the brain tries to tell you it's only a house, but the irrational side has full flip-outs!! The whole move thing is now probably clashing with my latest piano exam, so will now have to postpone that til March. Still, that's not long! SG does help in times of trouble though, she's a friend.
Steven- Hi! Well I did wonder how your brain was wired during your last message- you must be good with computers to be able to sort that out! I'm ok with computers- until they go wrong though. No we haven't seen the pictures yet!! Thanks for all your good wishes!

Germans think they're well-hung - but they're not
BERLIN (Reuters) - Most German men wear condoms of the wrong size, a condom distributor has said, after asking more than 2,500 men to measure their erect penis.
"People measure their feet when they buy shoes. Why shouldn't they measure their penises? A man would not wear children's shoes," said Jan Vinzenz Krause of Vinico, which released the study's findings on World AIDS (news - web sites) Day.
Most condom boxes in Germany indicated size but men, due to embarrassment or vanity, rarely checked or just bought those marked "extra large", he said on Wednesday.
Vinico's survey recommended various brands to be used -- depending on the endowment of the wearer.
The study found the average erect penis size was 14.7 cm (5-3/4 inches), with 40 percent of participants reporting lengths between 12 and 15 cm (4-3/4 and 5-7/8 inches).
When compared with the condoms normally used by the participants, the results showed only 18 percent wore the right size, with nearly half squeezing into condoms that were too small and 34 percent trying to use those that were too big.

Hi Joe: I have been fortunate enough to see you in 2002 at the G3 Palace concert, and then recently in Ann Arbor at the Michigan theatre. We purchased the platinum backstage pass, and I congratulate the guys on a job well done. You signed my 10 year old son's old Charvel guitar, and he will always appreciate that.
Anyway, my question? I see you reach down just below the pick-up to get that high falsetto ringing sound... what are you doing? I bought a JS 1000 and can't seem to reproduce that effect. Unfortunate for me, I did not receive my new JS guitar until shortly after the Ann Arbor concert, or I would have brought it for signing. Thank you, Glenn DeLong

One thing must never be forgotten, No matter what anyone think's, He is And alway's will be the "father of Modern era" Rock-Metal. Seem's His stuff can still be heard in much influence of today's 'Young" Rocker's. and still liked by The 'oldie's' like Myself!!...it really did My heart good to see, Him on stage, and having Fun while playing! brought energy and exitement to the Music, Exept when smashing guitar's! I despise that! Destruction of any kind!...But In A since, I am saying in My own sweet way, Saying, Long Live VH. espeacialy like the more I know about Him,. I am learning so much about Hendrix, through Buzzy, I have A new attitude toward Jimi, entierly! The latest news is that the United States is sending 12,000 more troops to Iraq.......way to go George W.......you jackass !
In other news....at a certain New York hotel...the Algonquin I believe...you can order a $10,000 martini. It has all of the common ingredients...except there is a healthy-sized diamond sitting at the bottom of the glass. I'm sure my fiance would appreciate the fact that I thought of her, but she would throttle me as soon as she came to her senses...lol !

Pitch No 8, I still have "Cabin Fever" somewhere, have not seen it for a while and I used to have on vinyl a Lenny Breau/ Phil Upchurch album the name of which escapes me. Sorry, never really checked out a lot of Lenny's stuff... Gotta scoop for me? I know having ever had this few Lenny pieces makes me a very very bad Canuck!!! Zinc, your "German" posting brings new meaning to the name Mattias Jabs..

OCP - the answer is yes to both, i'm in for touring & recording. Her cd hasn't been officially released yet only the first single ( I think her recdord co is waiting til the new year) As for touring we're playing this Friday in Toronto, then a 3 week break for the holidays( time to finish my disc) then a New Years Eve gig, & we're slated to perform at the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital gala in January. More shows are in the works as well.
962 - guitars don't have to be expesive to hold that magic, my strat is 11 years old & still plays like a dream :o)
DCK - Jackson soloist, geat guitar's. What do you think of EVH's Charvel series ? Nice looking guitars but I think they are worth the $3000 or so that they are selling.
