962 yea but with how much my guitar sucks it wouldn't be really that same guitar. it'd be the same body and that'd be about it. but I looked at your RGT42 on Ibanez.com and it looked very nice. and then I saw the RG1752 for only $480(%40 off!) at a local store today. sat down and played it. I decided that seven strings are very different and take getting used to. but I still didn't get to research it and I saw an ESP with Floyd Rose, dual humbuckers, and (i believe) rosewood neck or body. It was only $200. what would you suggest as the best within $300?

Suzie, I agree with your fox hunt post 100%. I say we dress the hunters up in a fox suit and see how much fun the game is then. Friggin' A-holes (said in my best Dr Evil voice).
Austin, it was Pizza Hut. Two medium pan pizzas, one with onion, and the second was half shrooms, half plain, all for $12.99 :)
mikesb, I forgot about Won't Get Fooled Again. That's a top 5 for sure!
962, as for the place next door, it's not a dump, it just needs some paint...bad. I'm just glad it's empty. lol! I can put my stereo volume on concert level :) The woman who lived there and was renting the place moved out about 3 months ago. She was handicapped and had full time nurses 24/7. She liked to hear herself, so she would bang on things or let out a good yell. We always new when she was outside or was having a bad night. We didn't mind though. She kind of sounded like that song that goes "Wooo-Hoooo!" by Offspring (I think) lol! or one of those bands I don't listen to. lol!
Miguel, "Wow MICHELLE: you're having pizza, and I'm having tacos and beer...yummy...later" - Life is good, isn't it! lol!
Noppa, how about Janice Joplin's Try (Just a little bit harder). She wails the word 'TRY' like nobody's bidness in that song :) Ooohhh how I love her greatest hits cd. That's the kind of music I listened to growing up.

i think the first person i need to address is the webmaster.
webmaster_____i have been sending numerous pleas to yu asking about satch and any plans of his to come to india,,,well i saw yur message about the lucky fan thing,,,hhhmmm,,,interesting,,,i think nobody needs it more than i do coz it is the only way by which i can c satch perform live or for that matter, meet him in person.please make me the lucky guy......please.afterall,i am an indian and i know for sure now that satch has no plans whatsoever to visit india in the near or distant future......make me the lucky fan,,pleassssssseeeeee.
steven___hello bro',,,thanks for the package in advance,,,one is on the way to yu too....my family says hi to yu too......yu have mail bro ,,btw,,i watched g3-live in denver yesterday,,got it from a friend,,,great work by satch and vai..regards and love to yur parents and folks...,,god bless,,take care,,,prayers always...happy weekend.mail back soon.

lucy sorets___Looking forward to the barca vs madrid game,,,will take place in three hours time,,the match will be telecast live at 2:30 am indian standard time,,,have to stay up late but sure it will be worth it...i am a huge fan of barca....yu must have seen my earlier messages ,,,a lot of quotings regarding barca and especially the spanish football league and the uefa champions league...the spanish premiera liga is the best football league in the world....period...ronaldinho rocks the football world just as satch does in the guitar world......beckham sucks,,,he should leave madrid,,,,owen must be given enough opportunities....barca has ronaldinho, giuly, deco.samuel eto.....yu name it ,they have them all....imagine saviola having to be traded to another team,,,they really have the stars.....my fav teams are barca and ac milan....shevchenko......man if only he could play froma better country but ukraine,,,he would be more popular than guys like zidane and ronaldo and beckham,,,,,,beckham has the looks and nothing else,,,he is more suited to be a model than a footballer.....hope the racist fans dont visit the football field and disrupt games,,but what the heck,,u r write ,the english media are trying to cover up for englands' poor performance....they are always like that whenever they lose,,,they are the best ""whiners"",,they always cry foul when they lose and never accept defeat graciously...fuckers..colonial assholes..till next time,,bye.
michelle__glad to know about yur personal condition....take care,,,,,,,personal regards to yu...god bless.
alexandre_____nice to c u on the community again...glad yu r back,,,,how r u pal...care and concern to yu,,god bless...happy weekend.

962- just been listening to Red Square (hope I've remembered the title right!) and really loved it! I thought your tone was great. What guitar / pedals did you use?
About the guitars I want to look at- want to spend c£500 to get a good mid-price guitar, think it's a choice between a Gibson Flying V, Gibson Les Paul Special, Fender Jaguar and Epiphone Ace Frehley or Joe Perry signature Les Paul. We don't have the cash yet to spare on a really expensive guitar, so would be very happy with one of these! :-)

jazzzzzy, haha, man I agree on your thanksgiving post man. You hit every point square! I find holidays like that to be one big mound of bullshit. We don't actually have thanksgiving here, but we have something kinda similar, around september time - Harvest Supper. It's not a big thing though.
I just detest how Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Easter and Christmas have all become one huge great commercial opportunity. No joke, a TV ad that ran this year was something like "come on down to DFS and buy your mum this amazing 3-piece Suite for just £1699 this mothers day".
Who's gonna spend £1699 on their mother just for mothers day? Crazy. I know, it's a little different to your problem with thanksgiving, but you got me started! hehe
on other matters, haha, you like my pimpin photo! hehe, cheers dude. You know that's not a bad idea, setting up a webshots t2j page.
Maybe we should call it Mugshots! haha. Anyway, we'd need a general opinion from everyone else, but it sounds like a cool idea to me!
Joeman9, I personally would not recommend that ESP - I tried a few ESPs, including the Kirk Hammet model which is meant to be an excellent guitar, and I just didn't like them.
I would honestly recommend the RGT42 if you can afford it. The neck is really nice and feels solid. The frest and string spacing all feels consistent all the way up, and the thru-neck build means access to the 24th fret is easier than on just about anything, except for a Washburn Nuno model!
I put a pair of Joe's pickups (a-la JS1000) in my RGT and it's great. Initially I didn't get on with them but now I'm used to them and have adapted my amp/pedal setup accordingly, I find them really nice.
On 7 strings, yeah getting an RG7 isn't a bad idea, but you have to think about whether or not you'll use it all the time. Say you had a 7-string and a nice 6-string RG, and they both had your desired pickup combination, which one would you fall back on most of the time?
michelle, hehe, the song is called "Song 1" and is by Blur. Yeah it's one of those bands I don't listen to either, but Song 1 has been kinda rammed down our throats, at least once a year, since it came out, here in the UK.......something about them being british....I dunno!
Suzie, hey thanks for checkin it out, I'm glad you like it! Yeah you got the title right!
Tone-wise, I'm using the (aforementioned) Ibanez RGT42. I installed a pair of Joe's pickups - PAF Pro in the neck and Fred in the bridge - and for most of the song I was using the Fred. It's got that fat, warm sound but with a nasal twang which really heats it up.
At the beginning of the, for want of a better word, 'solo' section, where the tone really cools off (briefly), I used the PAF Pro. For pedals, I was just using a Marshall Bluesbreaker for the overdrive, Ibanez Delay and Morley Bad Horsie Wah!
And the clean tone at the intro and outro was courtesy of my dad's DOD multi-effects pedal, which I used for it's chorus and stereo output, and the single-coil strat pickup in my cheap-as-chips Ibanez GIO! hehe.
Regards guitar buying, if you're looking at £500, I personally would say you'll get more out of a Flying V than any of the others you mentioned. in my experience, Jaguars are a disappointment, especially when you find out how much better a decent Strat is!

962 Thanks man! I agree with you completely. Pretty much all the feasts and holidays have been plagued by corporate giants. If people dont follow those rules, they're not a part of society. Its sad.
I love celebrations. But I have come to despise cheap commercial shots. Whats even worse is to see people falling for them. >:(
I am madly in love with my ex girlfriend still and the thought of her recieving all that shit during Valentines day from other kids just pisses me off.
The Webshots page should work out perfect. Lets ask every one to email pics if they want it. I would love to see what everyone looks like. I know what Michelle, Tastey, DCK, Clarky, Cuthbert, you (962), OCPS, Alexandre, Juju, Optical Studio and a few others look like now. Would like better pics though. This is what I think Zenfish looks like:
