962- Yes,the music buissnes is very cruel!...And cold!...If You can sucseed being independent, Then that is clearly the place to be!..I Applaud your statment "We'll see in A few Years!" That show's real maturity! Espeacialy for A guitarist with Your ability! Back A few years ago, when I wasn't into guitar playing I was Hanging out with My "Miss Hollywood" Girlfriend, And had the oppurtunity to meet some of the best and worst Players..I am talking attitude!...There gonna Blow'em all away! " I am the best! nobody can even come close to My speed and technique!" These Guy's, and Gal's were very disturbing!...So Keep playing and being Yourself! That i find takes one the farthest in this game!...Much sucess!.............................ZENFISH- Gee Man, I am sorry to hear about Your drummer's back! He will be in My thought's, and I wish Him A speedy recovery it's not to serious No?...........................................SUZIE2000- Thank's for the Mail, I sent You My adress to!... Limbless, I have the same problem with keeping my right and left hands in perfect sync at higher tempo.....some people would suggest playing with a metronome until you fix the problem, but I'm not convinced....

regards your other question; those all important words....easier higher fret access. If you can afford it, I would thoroughly recommend a Washburn N4. It's a Nuno Bettencourt model, and you sometimes see them hangin around ebay, averaging about a grand. They have the best upper-register access I've found, they are awesome to play, and have an original Floyd Rose bridge, so you can be assured it's whammy is about as good as it'll get!

Suzie, I get those recurring colds from time to time, but 6 weeks is badass! Nevermind lemsip and stuff like that....sounds like you need 1-Shot Drain Cleaner, or TNT! Hope it clears quickly, 6 weeks has gotta be really irritating?!
Interesting story of the day - the US military has lost a whole bunch of weapons, ranging from planes and boats, to small arms. I'm not sure of the value of the loss - it's either 90 million dollars, or far worse, 90 billion. I think it's the latter, but I'm not sure.

Opticalstudio, dude, you rock! I really appreciate your kind words. thanks! I've met people before who have been kinda like those you described....you know, very competitive, arrogant, possibly compensating for a lack of something, if you catch my drift?!

I just try to keep realistic about it all, and slowly work away at my goals and ideals. I don't have much time for people who say "im the best, youre shit, im faster than you"....it's all so trivial!

I think that's why I love the attitude of Joe, Eric Johnson and Igor Belsky so much.....they're so modest and nice about things!

Sorry, my rambling light is on! hehe. Cheers dude!

962 out, back thursday.

Steven- thanks! We'll get back to you soon!!

962/Simon - this cold is a real sonofabitch. It just won't give up the ghost! Just when my nasty cough started to clear up, one of the little dears in my class must have sneezed over me and toppoed up my germs again!! I would have thought I was immune to them (the germs and the kids!) by now, looks like I was wrong though!! I absolutely HATE Lemsip with a passion, however have drunk some of it this evening. There is also a great invention called "Happinose" which I would recommend to anyone with a manky cold... I won't go into the full mank factor!

ACHOO- theres no talking to metallica fans.... they cannot comprehend, process nor make a fleeting guess as to what you may be attempting to enlighten them with.... theres 50 million metallica fans, theres 5 million megadeth fans.... coincidentally those with an IQ above 120 represent roughly the same numerical distinction.... when it comes down to it they are still pissed that dave gave metallica whatever it was they had and it was theirs to lose and they did.... mustaine outwrites and outplays everyone in metallica put together... this also causes metallica fans to experience lose bowels.... kill em all

Mustaine is a much better songwriter than any Metallica member. Honestly, I find Megadeth fans equal idiots as Metallica fans. Megadeth fans get very defensive about Dave and how much better he is than Metallica. And Metallica fans are always taunting Megadeth fans with crap like "Metallica sold 65 million albums and Megadeth sold 65 copies." In detroit some kid came to the show with a Metallica t shirt and stupid ass Megadeth fans were yelling "get the fuck out of here." It was really shitty.

I think Metallica's Kill Em All, Master of Puppets, rtl, black and AJFA albums kick ass (along with garage). Other than that everything sounds weak. For Megadeth, every album rocks. I dont find anything bad about any Megadeth album.

I Like the idea of a web shot page you guys have been talking about. I was thinkin it would be cool if we could have our picture, like a little icon under our screen name when we post. I wonder if it would be possible. Well, just a thought. What do you guys think?

Hey, email your reply to jaredpresley@hotmail.com please, although I'll try to check the replies whenever I can on here. How do you upload music on the net, like your own material? I have a cd with my songs, but where can I upload it that you know of. And how do I convert it into wav etc. Thanks. And if there are palns for a T2J cd 2, I am willing to contribute.
