962- what is the full mank factor on your cold then? I suggest a product "Happinose," what an invention!! If only I knew how to type in a green font on here.... :-) Hope you are feeling better soon!!

Steven- sorry to hear about your bad experiences, that sounds so awful. You must be a very strong person!! Will e-mail soon. Feel totally pissed off today as 1) I HATE my boss as she is a psycho who makes decisions she can only have concocted in hell just to wind everyone up to the maximum amount, and 2) the people buying our flat AND selling the house we want to buy are all stalling for time! Looks like our move will definitely be after Christmas now though :-( HOPEFULLY the one this year!

I would like to (not necessarily in this order) kill

a) our estate agent, b) our buyer and c) our previous buyer who screwed our plans right at the last minute with no legal comebacks because the system in England is so dumb!!!

Sorry about the rant folks, I feel a bit better now. Thank goodness for guitars to take out the anger on!!!!!!!

Michelle- although your bat story had me laughing, it reminded me of a story about a friend of mine who once stayed overnight in an old victorian attic room (within a hotel,) and woke up the next morning with some odd creature flapping about in the covers- sadly she had not got lucky, yes it was a BAT!! ........ Yuk.

I'm ok with... snakes. worms, rodents, snails, all that stuff.... insects are my phobia!

Zinc Master - I enjoyed the article about the cat with the MBA. However, having received an MBA myself, from a prestigious university, I'll tell you the cat's diploma is probably as good as mine in real life. I'd also lay odds that this cat was brighter than some of my classmates.

Okay Jazzzy, now you've done it...you've gone and ruined Joe's music for me forever! I have a new guitar God, Ryan Parry..he's so totally awesome!!!

Okay, not really, he's pretty awful, but I have to give him props for having the nerve to put his music out there for people to hear.......or plug their ears trying NOT to hear, or screaming or....................bleh! :)

What time is dinner at Michelle's house? And does she know you're bringing company with you? lol!! I hope she doesn't serve bat-wing soup....I'd check the food for bat hairs and little claws if I were you....on second thought, um, I think I hear my mom calling me so I can't make it there after all!! :)

hey folks! New song uploaded!

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/simondaultreymusic.htm

The track is called "Airhead". It's kinda half-acoustic/half-electric, and starts off sounding unlike a guitar track altogether!

As a result, it has been a real bastard to mix, so the mix isn't great at the moment. Also, i'm not sure about the closing solo - it starts off okay, tho it's tonally below-par and it kinda drags.

I dunno....see what you think!

Suzie, haha, thanks. By the looks of things, Alka Seltzer is what I need! hehe. It's not too bad right now - I'm just on the congestion and contstant blowing-of-nose section at the moment. I'm taking sudafed, to see if I can stop it before it starts!

962, Simon: I liked your newest song! I'm not a very good critic of music, so if you think there is anything wrong with it, I sure didn't hear it! It was great! You have a nice selection of music on your site...good job!

962, as Dr. Suzie2000, I advise you drink a litre of pure orange juice, 2 vitamin tablets followed by a nasty Lemsip - this usually works for me!! (By the way, I am NOT a doctor...)

cheese101, hey thanks a lot for your kind feedback! I'm glad you liked it! I just listened a few times to the MP3 of "Airhead" and it's actualy come out better than I expected, quality-wise at least!
Suzie, hehe, i'm not a doctor either, so I wouldn't know the difference! I got a nice big carton of orange juice to crack open.....I always find the OJ and vitamin supplement really good for dispatching colds!

Well 962, yes I agree, overdosing on vitamins seems to get rid of colds...

I've just been watching a really cheerful TV documentary by the way about Michael Ryan and the Hungerford Massacre. At least Teachers is on soon on Channe l 4 to cheer me up a bit!!!!

Hmm I keep getting so many influences lately from films and games and I really need to get my old pc up and running so I can get them recorded. Maybe after christmas I can get myself together and try to record some ideas.

I've got one Halo 2 inspired idea, about 3 Fable inspired ideas and a whacky idea inspired by Garfield the movie...

Not to mention some of my ideas that just came to me during the night...like techno-country.

Anywayz...just thinkin' aloud.

Hey, after my last post yesterday, I "silver" surfed the net after Robert Fripp sounds. Well, I found lots of them, and jumped to the conclusion he really didn't play back at the Credicard Hall, Brazil G3 show.

Joe can you or any of the "Godfather" crew from G3 tell us what happened? Did the stupid theater crew forgot to open his sound? Did he get pissed cause no one know who he was? Please tell me, im dyng to know what happened =)

Hahaha!!!! My housemate owns a pair of hair straightening irons. And he's a guy. LMAO. What a poof...

Delfino - lol... I'm glad you like my music, dude. Into The Fire could probably be played far better than that now though. Same with Lost, come to think of it. As for how I come up with my stuff, I have no idea. It just happens - different things inspire me in different ways. You know how it is...

civgeek I am not sure what it is. but it is really a mixed math class, but primarily it is advanced algebra. adn chemistry is actually supposed to be easier, because there will be less math this time. that is a relief. it will still be hard though.
