Adrianorb I am an xbox fan and I can tell ya' both consoles rock a lot of ass...however I own an xbox and it has got a lot of good game considering the time it has been around, I highly recommend an xbox although either way its a good choice which ever console you choose.

There's always going to be the right game for you :-)

Ya Yo Gak Oh yeah definitly, "The Extremist" is one of my favourite all time albums I love the song "Why?" as well...actually come to think of it, I've loved everything I have heard of Joes Music...he's the most consistantly brilliant artist I know when it comes to the quality of songs.

evaneezer - Yeah, the shows will be at the Fillmore. You can find more info at Ticketmaster's website.

I'll be at both shows (Sunday and Monday). Keep in touch...it'd be cool to meet up...

bahduh - Thanks for the e-card. I'll email you later tonight...
Clint Fox - Yeah, Joe responds to posts here every now and then. He's been quiet for the past few months, however.

No, Joe doesn't really give lessons anymore.

962 - Yes, that's the correct email address.
mowlie 2000 - That was a cool track...thanks for sharing it.
Adrianorb - Get a PS2. ;-)

Hey Suzie2000: We're doing good, thanks for asking! We are so psyched up about both concerts in San Fran, I think Christmas will just be a blur and we'll spend the day vibrating, waiting to get on the road the next day! I hope all is well with you, how are your students doing? Do you get any kind of vacation around Christmas? My son gets 2 weeks here. He'll spend the first week with his dad, then back home with me and off we go to San Francisco! Take care! And good luck with your move, whenever it actually happens! :)

Hi all...so I'm curious, those of you who have been to the Fillmore, what is it like? I went to their website, it looks like a small venue with no seating at all!! Which is fine cuz we didn't plan on sitting anyway for Joe!! But how does it work? We have platinum tickets, and I'm wondering where or how they decide where people go with no assigned seating? If it's as small as it looks on the website, there probably isn't a bad view in the house, but since I paid so darn much for the platinum tickets, I'm wondering how we'll be "seated"! We have the Live in San Fran DVD and the crowd looks bigger than what the website indicates can fit in there...any info anyone can share would be very appreciated!!

opticalstudio: Nah, I don't think I have the stuff to go pro racing!! It'd be wonderful though! A big thing I lack is experience and of course, money! It also takes a lot of luck, to be in the right place at the right time with the right people to help launch a racing career. So I'm just thinking of doing a course just for the fun of it, the experience, and of course, to learn some skills and technique.
chron: Wow! Lucky you! I wish I can watch JGTC live... It's going to be awesome!!
962: I love the rev of RX-8's rotary. Sounds wonderful. The horseppower seems sufficient for cruising or easy driving. But you get slightly intimidated when next to other sports cars. And the lack of torque is a turn off. Hopefully, the future RX-7 can solve these problems. As for Porches, the Carrera GT is simply beautiful. It's the first Porche that I really liked. Then there's the '05 model 997. They look great too.
Get a PS2!!! why? Cuz Grant Turismo 4 is THE BEST!!

Welp, I'm so far behind in reading posts, that if I'd try to read them all I'd be here till tomorrow morning. I think I'll be starting fresh from this spot right here. I'm about 800 posts behind, so forgive me. lol! If anyone said anything brilliant, please post it again so I can see it. I've just felt like being quiet lately. Nothing to say really. Hmm, maybe I'm not back. I still don't feel like talking. lol! Anyways, I'm going to post this as last read and clear the last 30some pages.

On a high note, my daughter turned 16 yesterday and my nephew and his gf had a baby boy yesterday too! My daughter was born at 5:21 p.m., and my nephew's son was born at 5:34 p.m. , which I think was the exact time my son was born back in Oct. '91 :) It's all strangely connected somehow. lol!

Love to all my peeps!

Hey Joe!

webmaster - Now that the second SF show is listed on Ticketmaster, can you add it to the Road page? The venue still needs to be changed to the Fillmore, too.

Also, I think I asked you this a while back, but I can't remember... Is there a reason why the Thin Lizzy / Joe Satriani / Deep Purple tour dates aren't listed in the Road Archive?

evaneezer - No, I'm not associated with Joe. I'm just a fan, like everyone else here...

Yes, your "Warfield" tickets will still be good for the Fillmore show.

I'll post a picture of myself a few days before the show...look for me and say hi.

cheese101 - I think the Fillmore holds around 1,500 people (maybe a few hundred less than that). Think of the room as a big rectangle...the stage is one of the small sides. The bar is at the other end of the room. It is standing room only (for the most part...they'll probably have a few tables near the bar). The Fillmore is actually on the second floor of its building. So you'll go in the door, walk up some stairs, and go around a corner or two before you'll see the stage.

I was at the Fillmore for the two gigs in 2000 (the second of which became LISF), but I haven't been back since. So some of the stuff I just mentioned may have changed slightly...

I think I read something on Fanfire's site several months ago that said for GA shows, people with package tickets would line up in a separate line and be let in a few minutes before everyone else. So...for example...I'll be waiting outside in the "normal" line for most of the afternoon and evening before the show. But because you're doing the package thing, you could show up fifteen minutes before the show starts and still get in ahead of me. Does that make sense?

...Austin...
