MICHELLE- You are right. The last thing in A crisis is for Mark to Worry about computers and trivial stuff! I will keep Him in Prayer! Hi Steven, glad to see you posting this evening, staying in touch with people who care about you is so important!
I do not play guitar, but am the mother of a guitar player...does that count? :) We eat, sleep and breathe guitar and all things Joe around here!! My son is 16 and has been playing for 3 years now, absolutely loves Satch and everything about him. He first discovered him and tried to get me to listen, and I am ashamed to say that at first I didn't want to listen at all, was only into country western music. But as a surprise to my son I decided to take him to Reno this past September to see Joe with Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy...once I saw him play in person I was completed hooked on Joe and have been ever since! Our lives have been so brightened by him and his music, and that has led to my interest in other rock musicians, so we are also going to see Steve Vai in April. And of course will catch Joe whenever possible.
I think you are a very talented guitar player and should never give up on yourself and your music. All creative people hit slumps, big and little at times...it's part of the process and serves to make you better every time you come out of one. Please don't run off to live in the hills as a hermit cuz then you couldn't post here anymore and lots of people would miss you and your music!! I gather from some of what you've said that life has been pretty rough for you, and I'm so sorry to hear that. But music soothes the soul and prayer carries us through anything. My son has been through a lot too, even though he's at the tender age of 16.......almost lost him but Joe and his music truly saved him from self-destruction and I'm so grateful for that. And I have to say, even though going through it all was really, REALLY awful, good things came of the bad and we are at a much better place now than ever before. Keep God and music and friends in your life and it will all be worthwhile!! Take care Steven! Tracie

OCPS470 the phrase "the dogs bollocks" aka "the muttz nutz" is simply saying that something is the best that it can be.
A universal term for "the dogs bollocks" would be "the bees proverbial knees."
Hope that clears that up for ya' :-)
Steven Wilde Its 5am right now and I haven't been to bed yet, but when I wake up sometime tomorrow I have allocated a time to listen to your music again, it feels like I haven't for so long. Anywayz, take care of ya'self buddy and don't stay up as late as I have....I'm gonna' pay the price for going to bed this late lol...but I think I can afford it.

CHEESE101- You bet that count's! Your in the elite leuge of Awesomely cool Mother's! I think You backing Up Your Son, Is one of the greates thing's!(any parent)can do! My Mom, Helped Me pursue My Motorcycle career!(Motocross) And that was really the best years of My Life! I was good at something! I am mighty glad to hear that You have Your Son back from ill Experiances! God Bless You, and Him! Yes, I lost a lot of Freinds, and family to Suicide, and Crack, Heroin, and the whole drug culture! I am from the Berkely Ca. It is very RADICAL, and unforgiving, And Oakland, right next door is way worse! So I am so pleased that You are keeping Your Son's Idea's and thought's on positive and wonderful thing's such as God's gift of Music! I think Your doing an exellent Job! i had posted a long message but it failed to appear on the board.......so this will be short....so glad to see so many messages showing concern about my well being,,,,,,,,, god bless yu all..... yu know who yu are?......... THE TSUNAMI was really devastating,,,,, ,i was supposed to go to Goa(a beach resort in south india-- -the place worse hit by the calamity ) on a holiday this holiday season but we cancelled our tickets due to the tenderness of our son,,,,we rescheduled our tickets for april,2005,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, guess god had a plan to save us...... well i would like this opportunity once again to thank all those who showed a lot of care and concern for me and my family on this sad moment........ yur kind words are highly appreciated and will always be held in high esteem by me..... .than yu all.................. god bless yu alll now always and forever......... i shall never forget yu all..........
