Hey Joe, I'm Magui from Argentina, just another JS fan among billions...I hope sometime i can play my Fender Japan (actually made in an IBANEZ factory in 1991) like you do.

I've seen you in Buenos Aires at the Luna Park on December 8th with G3. You just rock, but i'm kind of sad because you didn't play any of my 10 favourite songs, which are (in order):

1) WHY (best song EVER) 2) THE EXTREMIST 3) MOTORCYCLE DRIVER 4) MOUNTAIN SONG (incredible bass guitar also) 5) MEMORIES 6) THINKING OF YOU 7) LOVE THING 8) ALL ALONE 9) IF I COULD FLY 10) SECRET PRAYER

Anyway, you blew my mind more than ever because i saw you LIVE for the first time. YOU'RE A GENIUS! I hope you come back soon (this time alone, i want to see a 100% J.S show, not G3). I wish I met you in person like Carina Alfie does (Argentinian guitarist).

Saludos desde Buenos Aires, José! (haha)

Ibanez Mike, 962 - To jump in on your pick discussion, I have tried all kinds of picks and have settled on the Big Stubby 3mm. I love it. It works good for me I think because I don't do much strumming. I like a med for that. I like the 3mm because I have a vedry lite touch, the subs give me a little more control. If I was to play more SRV or stuff like that I would use a med. Just my 2 cents.

anibur, geez man, you scared me for a minute! lmao! My first thought was "WHY? What happened!" The only thing I'm expecting is rain. lol! The only new living/breathing additions in this house will be 4 legged furry ones. Alex was just in a hurry. lol!

Alexandre, you posted "Happy new baby" LOL!!! Noo babies honey, just my kiddies and kitties. That was pretty funny my friend. I am trying to talk my husband into taking one of my nieces polydactyl kittens. She has a few 6 toed cats, and I want one so bad, but we already have 2 cats... I want a little red kitten I can call Yogi Sixtoe :) lol! I doubt we'll get it though. Animals are expensive to keep, and the vet bills are always high even for regular check-ups.

I'm 60 posts behind. I'll catch up tomorrow.

Okay, now my fingers hurt!! I decided this weekend to ask my son to teach me how to play guitar and we just had our first lesson.........ouch!! But cooool...he even let me play a bit on his JS100, but was watching me like a hawk!! LOL!! He started me out on his first electric, and pretty soon I was complaining about how the edge was hurting my right arm, so that's when he let me try the JS....LOVELY guitar!! IMHO. It remains to be seen how far I get with these lessons!

Powerslave214, glad you are enjoying the concert....I was enthralled for the whole 2 and a half hours. There are some other cool things you can download or listen to at that same site. May I suggest the band interview with Lip Blister, the 1996 media netcast. It's absolutely hilarious!! Joe's nickname at the time is "Curly Joe" LOL!!! They really cut up and have a good time with the interview! Joe's crazy sense of humor really shows!

Michelle, so I take it no "unwanted" furry things (ya know, bats, spiders, etc.) made an appearance in your Christmas presents, lol!! I really hope you get to have the kitty you want, 3 isn't too many! I have 4..the recent addition is a rescue baby, and he is a terror!!! Full of pee and vinegar, constantly jumping on the other 3 adult cats and mixing things up around here!

Hi Steven, I have enjoyed your e-mails too....hope you're doing well!

CAN ANYBODY WHO KNOWS ANYTHING TELL US HOW JOE IS DOING? PRETTY PLEASE?? AND THANK YOU! :-)

Gday Joe. I'm the same as Rob and he has emailed me about it. It's great to see you got back to him. I would just like to know if you can get back to me abotu the subjects because age should't be a factor about your show in Melbourne. Also could I please have some information on the guitar clinics because it's such a bummer about the age factor. You can get back to me at satch4@bigpond.com thanks alot Joe and Get well

I saw one of your earlier posts but have been "away" up till now. I probably did see you at the Dec. 26th show, I just didn't recognize ya. I was standing next to MegaBoyd probably 5 ft. from the stage, too bad those guys next to us smoking weed aggreviated my cold. Glad to hear your trip to SF went well. Couldn't believe how much rain there was, when I got back to Portland it was sunny (abeit cold).

I think, not sure though, since I haven't played with it yet, that the iPod does have its own EQ installed.

10 Commandments of Marriage

Commandment 1. Marriages are made in heaven. But so again, are thunder and lightning.

Commandment 2. If you want your spouse to listen and pay strict attention to every word you say, talk in your sleep.

Commandment 3. Marriage is grand -- and divorce is at least 100 grand!

Commandment 4. Married life is very frustrating. In the first five years of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens. In the second five years of marriage, the woman speaks and the man listens. In the rest of their marriage, they both speak and the neighbors listen.

Commandment 5. When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure of one thing: Either the car is new or the wife is.

Commandment 6. Marriage is when a man and woman become as one; the trouble starts when they try to decide which one.

Commandment 7. Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about something you said. After marriage, he will fall asleep before you finish.

Commandment 8. Every man wants a wife who is beautiful, understanding, economical, and a good cook. But the law allows only one wife.

Commandment 9. Every woman wants a man who is handsome, understanding, economical and a considerate lover, but again, the law allows only one husband.

Commandment 10. Man is incomplete until he marries. After that, he is finished.

Bonus Commandment story.

A married couple married MANY years came upon a wishing well. The wife leaned over, made a wish and threw in a penny. The husband decided to make a wish too. But he leaned over too much, fell into the well, and drowned. The wife was stunned for a moment but then smiled, "Wow! It really works!!!"
