minimum wage is a joke.....raise it and everything else goes up in price, back to square one....maybe i should say inflation is a joke....

another thing that kills me is people get nervous going to job interviews..... no need for such anxiety, they are benefitting by having you doing their work, it's more of YOU interviewing THEM.....seeing if you even WANT to work with them....etc.... might sound egotistical but it's true. Who really benefits? they do....you know they aren't going to pay you what you feel you are worth so in the end it is the employer who is making out.....

Clarky: I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001...luckily it was caught very early, but still required major surgery. I'm all clear now, & hope to be going strong for a few years to come. It was a turning point when I discovered how many people cared about me, and I realised that nothing is really worth worrying about as life is the most precious thing, and we should treat each day as our last. Recent events have shown...you never know when your time's up, so you must value & enjoy every day. Don't bear grudges & treat your family as precious. Well that's todays lesson! I can't remember if you met Nico...very good guitarist. Maybe we can all get together for a jam sometime in the future! Must go to bed.....bfn.

YYG - If things went up in relation to the minimum wage it would be onr thing but the increases are more than the min wage increases there fore you are actually harming the people you claim to be helping. Plus you are hurting small business by making them less competative.

Stevee T, I knew ya could, I knew ya could.... LOL Success!!! Actually winrar is a great software for anyone wanting to bundle stuff to save space and time.

As you can see Tommy boy has the chops. Now just need to get more of his own stuff to see if he can compose (also, if he can slow down and be somewhat tasty, based on what I am hearing my bet is that he can, the tunes on that Xmas CD are all barnburners!!!!)

Cheers man

I bought a Whammy bar finally for my JS100. It must take a lot of practice to get used to though. Any advice as to how to use it properly would be much apreciated.

Jersey Jet theirs not Really A Real Proper Way to use a Whammy bar unless your breaking it that would be an Exception But it depends what your playing and what you Want to Play the Best Tip Is Don't Make FAST moments with it and not any really Deep Dive bomb(Bar all the way down) unless you want to. Just Use Smooth Slow controlled Movements (And its normally on a Single Fret when used) but you can Do anything you want with one

Powerslave214.

In answer to your compound-radiusquestion:

First, I will assume you know absolutely nothing about "radius".

(even if you do, at least someone out there probably does not).

I believe (?) the radius is smallest at the nut (top of fretboard) and increases at some rate to the largest radius at the bottem of the fretboard (by the body).

Say I took 2 trees; one tree is 12" radius (24" diameter), the other tree is 16" radius (32" diameter).

Then I sliced off a chunk from both trees, top to bottem. naturally the piece with a 16" radius would appear flatter than the 12" radiused board.

The strings are closest together at the nut, so it would be fairly easy to finger all the strings if the fretboard has an extreme (rounder) radius, like 12".

But, the strings are farther apart by the body, so it is easier to finger all the stings if the fretboard radius is flatter, like a 16" radius.

Hope this helps you or anyone else.

DeathCubeK- Thanks for the reply. So many styles and techniques. I have since blown the dust off of my Schecter, and begun to diddle around with some new riffs. Guitar is always a great outlet for creativity and emotion.
