Ovation1, I suppose....I'd not thought of that. I reckon he looks just like Legolas from Lord Of The Rings! haha. I don't like his new look, he looks like a bit of a ponce. hehe

D2004, Ibanez SA1260? It's the only Prestige SA I know of, and I got one a couple of months ago. They're pretty nice, a good choice. Mine will, eventually, get a new set of pickups and some locking tuners so it sounds a bit better. The stock pickups aren't too bad though. The body is really comfortable too and the fretboard is very nice!

I just finished a track (a few days ago) using the SA1260 exclusively.....check out "Shining Light" here http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/simondaultreymusic.htm if youre interested.

Also, if you want to see some better photos of it, check out the last 3 photos in my 'guitars and concerts' photo album on this page: http://community.webshots.com/user/962_lm

Steve Wilde Hehe thanks, I got told by my ICT teacher I'm one mark off an A' grade for my individual work...but when I looked through what he marked he had put that I hadn't met the criteria called "inclusion of original sound"...that bastard!...everything in my presentation was based around my original sound samples lol...I rightfully informed him and I just have to improve on my evaluation and hopefully I'll improve my mark. I'm at college right now but when I get home I'm going to work on it till I feel its done to the best I can do...mentioning all the things I obviously forgot the first time.

Take care

Is the "Additional Creations" rare by any chance as I haven't been able to find it...ever...

Just wondering.

Poweslave.....I'm not exactly sure why there "is" such a thing as a compound radius neck...but they are definately more comfortable to play and seem to be made right for the shape of one's hand !

Delfino Pie.....occasionally "Additional Creations" pops up on E Bay...that's how I came to own mine. Eventually someone will want to sell a copy....just be there when they decide to........Peace, SD

Cuthbert

"Did you decide to run sub shops out of altruism for the collective good of society, or to make money?"

I would have to say the money.................. definitely the money.

"Does East-Central Illinois need sub shops?"

They must they buy a lot of sandwiches, plus I think people have the same basic nourishment requirements in central Illinois as say in the Indy area.

"There can be no collective mind, no collective soul, and collective good is untenable and ultimately unattainable (wow, alliteration with the letter 'u' is tough, but rewarding ;-), because what is forced for the good of all, will invariably be bad for at least some individuals. When it is, they will act out of selfish motivation for their personal good; they will be working against the concept that was established as the collective good"

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander! (That alliteration was brought to you by the letter G) There is a collective of needs for the masses. It's not right or wrong it just is.

"People only trade up. You trade your sandwiches for money, because the money is worth more to you than the expense and hardship of creating them (due to the economies of scale involved); by the same token, your customer is trading up, as your sandwich is worth more to him or her than the money (or the time it took them to earn it, or the time and money it would take them to buy the sandwich components and assemble them). These are selfish individual actions, and society, as a whole, is made up of millions of these types of peaceful and mutually agreeable transactions each day. "

I agree with you, the majority of the people in society are self centered to some degree. This intrinsically stems from the need to survive. But we all (as a collective) have the same basic needs, except for wolf2, Food, Shelter, Sex....... and I don't know if I could live without my music..... This defines us as a similar group, a collective. This is why I chose the business that I am in. Food and housing, the people change but the need stays the same, sell to the masses, Yadda Yadda Yadda.

This is not to say that the common denominator that binds us all to our necessities and defines our culture should have an effect on our liberties. No hidden meaning here buddy, in fact I am still waiting for the day our administration decides that a clean bathroom is a law! I don't think that will ever happen, but it doesn’t change the fact that we all still need to take a dump occasionally.

"The good of all can only be attained through peaceful (yes, this implies protection from encroachment of individual rights from one another and from outside entities -- we can do some of this ourselves) individual interaction, with the individual actors deciding what is in their best interests and behaving accordingly while respecting the property rights of others. Civil rights are based on property rights; your body is your original and primary property on this planet, all property rights devolve from the basic principle of self-ownership"

Well said, true but seriously naive. Unfortunately we need a policing faction to prevent anarchy. These are our laws that define the "rules of engagement for our individual interaction" This is because people have little or no respect for another’s property, Trust me I know I am a landlord.

"Jeez, you really got me going this time. I'd better stop for now"

I didn't intend to get your blood pumping; I think we have the same thought here.

It is what it is not what it should be.

Stevee T Ahhh, dreadlocked......... deadlocked, I got you now...............

Yeah, Prince Ras Tafari.............. hero to the people, with magical powers, there was a tale of him drawing a bird on a piece of paper and it leaving the page and flying away........ can't figure out how the dude died a deity when he was taking the Ethiopian peoples resources and using them for his own ends...................... although I seem to recall that he did initiate some social reform and improve education. Interestingly Marley turned to a different church before his early death.

On the Wailer's first trip to the UK they left early because it was too cold and they couldn't find any vegetarian food outlets - lol

The man is a legend he's up there with Jimi for me.......... poet and a prophet.

Mikey, thanks for the picture. They could have been a C-130's, but I didn't take notice to the props. I was to in awe of the size and how low they were flying, plus I was still driving. lol! I don't know what they were or where they were going. As for big bases around here, the first one that comes to mind is Dover, Del. (I'm half asleep) lol!

Steven, hiya pal. How's things with you. I'm good - trying to dodge all the colds and stomach bugs everyone seems to have these days. bleh!

Suzie, hold on to the little bit of sanity you have left with your left hand, and keep the wine glass full in your right hand. LOL! We moved on my birthday in August 2003. It was so hot, and of course, it had to rain before we were done. There were no complications like you're having, so I really feel for you. For me, the worst thing about moving is having strangers coming into your house with the realtor while you're not home. You have to stick everything up your bum so it's not pilfered by sticky fingers. You have no idea who is really interested in buying your home, and who is just being nosey. My husband swears we're going to die in this house. He refuses to move again. lol! I can't get over how complicated it is to move house over there. Best of luck on Friday!

PFields, a question you can answer? Um, so what's it like living in Claremore, OK? lol! Only YOU can answer that one. lol!

bahduh, I'm over the dance. lol! I'm enjoying the quietness after the holidays. It's so peaceful - no shopping for gifts or last minute stuff, just a nice peaceful time :)

I need a nap.

962 - Your SA has the same Pickup config as my RG. I just slammed a Tone Zone in the bridge and it sounds sweet. I wired it like a Jem with the 5-way selector then added the coil taps for versitility. If you are going to change the pick up I would consider the TZ.

Michelle - Having spent summers in Okie-la-homa. I can answer Parkers question also. It SUCKS!!!! I so hate the interior of our country. It is miserable. I will never live more than 100 miles from the coast. There is just no reason to. BTW What dance were you doing? The Batdance. LOL

Dance of the day

We can dance if we want to,
we can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine

Say, we can go where we want to,
a place that they will never find And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind

And we can dance

We can go when we want to, the night is young and so am I
And we can dress real neat from our hats to our feet
And surprise them with the victory cry

Say, we can act if we want to, if we don't nobody will
And you can act real rude or totally removed
And I can act like an imbecile

Say we can dance, we can dance
Everything's out of control
We can dance, we can dance
They're doing it from pole to pole
We can dance, we can dance
Everybody look at your hands
We can dance, we can dance
Everybody taken the chance

The safety dance
The safety dance
The safety dance

We can dance if we want to,
we've got all your life and mine
As long as we abuse it we are never going to lose it
And everything will work out right

Say, we can dance if we want to,
we can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance well they're no friend of mine

My brother is married (well not really legally married, just living with for over 20 years with one kid kinda married) to the sister of the weird freaky keyboard dude, Buddy Holly glasses, from that band) Yikes, they have heard of MWH in Okie??
