an irishman walks into a pub and see's this nice looking lady at the bar. he goes upto, and asks to buy her a drink. she says "no..i'm a lesbian", so the irishman asks which part of lesbian she's from...she replies "no no no, you dont understand, you see that waitress over there, well, i want to pull down her skirt and lick her bum". the irishman thinks a bit..and says "in that case, i must be a lesbian too".

Re: Joe Satriani
The two shows at the Fillmore seem like a fantastic fever induced dream. Although I could barely breathe, I felt I had to perform as if my life depended on it. Every note was sacred to me. As I played, the tsunami tragedy in South Asia weighed so heavily on my heart.
Joe,
you're such a trooper, i don't know how you did those shows! after reading your letter - it seems to me you have a really big heart :) i can't wait to see you in March! i've been hoping/hopping for this gig since Jan 1997 (when i started listening to Satch)

Guitar Monkey - Email the pic to the webmaster. He will archive them. Be patient though. He normally waits until there are a lot and does them all at once. So, it may be a while before they are up.

Mr Nick (incidentally that's my name too) I like the joke. Question for everyone - why are Irishmen seen as being thick in the first place? Just a wonder that ran through my head after seeing that message

HELP!
I was just on the point of buying the JS 1000 when I read the news! A new chrome type. Now, because it's a year that I was thinking to buy the js model and I really can't wait anymore here's the question: would it be worth waiting another month? And is this new model going to be like with what pick-ups (the 1000 or the 1200)? What do you think?
Thanks

Back after a long break (Oct '04) and even longer before that (Jan '04). Funny how three changes of shift, change in job, change in girlfriends, going through a slump in my own guitar playing, and moving can make the year fly by.
Hope all is going well for everyone. Glad to hear Joe is on track for recovery by the end of the month. For those of you who remember me, I hope all has gone well since we last spoke...and for those who don't remember/know me, nice to meet you =]
On a side note...it's really nice to see all the pushes to donate to charity organizations re: the tsunami. Unbelievable power that nature can unleash...kind of puts things into perspective with how insignificant humanity really is...
Anyway, wish you all the best in health and prosperity in 2005...

hey Joe what kind of wah pedal do you use on The Crush of Love and are ya going to be putting that on a album anytime soon, I want to learn that song sometime. Workin on Always With Me Always With You and Surfin With The Alien at the moment but sadly I need a wah pedal and a bigger amp, stupid fender practise amp doesnt do jack all for tapping and artificial harmonics. Im going to invest in a JS 1000 or 2000 this summer when I have a job and the money to get one but at the moment im actually building a Stratocaster of my own from scratch, thank goodness i took my squier apart to use as a template :D Putting the PAF's that you use in it though if i can figure out how to install humbuckers with a single coil guitar. You have to come back to Toronto sometime and do a concert again, I will bring my camera along too and take some photos.

Joe- Glad to hear you're recovering. Since you mentioned it....A special thanks from myself and all the 'troops' for the support and for mentioning us. I'm nearing the date for my first deployment since becoming a Marine. A good many of us look forward to coming back and seeing you or others perform, so, by all means, keep up the awesome work. Do be careful about the illness thing though. Even us tough guys have to take a break and get better.

You couldn't access my site? That's weird! I am absolutely sure that I have the right address, since I basically copied the link from the page's browsing window...Can't go wrong this way. Here it is again:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/chunkyvomitmusic.htm
If it still doesn't work, just go simply to www.soundclick.com and go at the bottom of the opening page. There is a search engine...Just do a research by artists name and look for ChunkyVomit.
Does anyone else has provided links to get to their own music?

I again folks,
Don't mind me too much here, but I just wanted to try to make my own impression of Joe Satriani here...Meaning: Writing a complete post in blue. I see by the numerous posts installed here that Joe is bathing in a pool of dedicated fans and this is quite remarkable.
Sorry about your pneumonia Joe. If anything positive could get out of this, you could try to write a song on it...Call it: Pneumonia #9 or something, and try to make us feel the pain through your guitar!
Hey Joe! (That reminds me of something...) Do you need an electric violin player for your next album? Hint...hint...hahaha!
