Steve W- I'm doing great, how bout yourself? The guitar is coming along ok. I guess I'm jus a slow learner. I also tend to get caught up w/the electronix and start foolin around which doesn't help neither. I bought a whammy bar for my JS100 Thursday and taught myself to do the screaming harmonix Joe does w/the bar.

JOE- Glad to hear you're doing better and glad to hear you're taking plenty of time to get the rest you need.It means a lot to the rest of your fans that you're willing to take the time (especially now) to read some of the get well messages. Continue to get better and good luck w/producing the new Chrome guitar.

Anyway, That great new's about Your freind who got to record something! I am sure He was stoked! There's something about seeing A creation, Take hold, and form into shape! and then write it down on Musical note's To be heard! I am sure the whole process, Just delighted Him! My first recording Just sucked. But I had a great time doing it! and thought, Wow! I like this better than DrinkingLOL and started to really want to learn every facet of the instrument! I wish Your freind well in His journey, Also the best to You! Simon, Follow those golden dream's, Your doing A great Job!...................................JERSEY JET- That's neat about the trem, What Kind did You get? A double locking? Stevee T sorry to do this to you just before your magnificent dinner but too good to let pass....

You know, Ghandi was known to fast very frequently and as a result was in poor health frequently, he always wore sandals that made his feet tough, and curry was his favorite food- he ate so much it gave him chronic bad breath....

So I guess you could say that Ghandi was a Super Fragile Calloused Mystic Hexed By Hallitosis

BigBadMoon......I use a DS-1 and it has never let me down. It is extremely versatile for the price. The reality is....how many different distortions does a person need? I'm not putting down modeling amps, but all a guy needs is a simple pedal with tone, level & distortion. Get a DS-1...you won't be sorry.

CUTHBERT- thats a good point.... forgot about the governments hand in it, but $510k for the average house? come on now.... in fact the community of La Jolla here has the HIGHEST average home price in the united states.... yeah, higher than san fran, anywhere in connecticut, miami, new york.....1.3 million. i wonder what would happen if there was no minimum wage.... would companies actually pay people more? i think they would have to, because no one would agree to work for $2 an hour...or the minumum of $6.75 here, but due to that being a minumum people accept it, maybe a sort of "the government has deemed you being worth this much an hour, thats what we'll pay you" i dunno....

IN OTHER NEWS---- did anyone else watch 60 minutes tonight? they had this guy named Lang Lang on, a 22 year old piano prodigy from china....all i can say is holy fuck.....the guy is crazy!!!! people bash him because he gets so emotional with the music that they think he's just attention hungry and drawing attention to his feelings....i say when you have that much talent who gives a shit what he does, watch and shut up.... they showed home movies of him at like age 4.....it was so weird to see this little kid ripping the piano in half with his tiny hands..... Lang Lang for G3.... i'm gravitated towards people with insane amounts of talent....him, joe etc....they are special people whom you can learn a lot from, rare people who possess something few others will ever.... a change from the hum drum processed filler crap everyone feeds on.....fresh air.... ahhh it's still raining....woohoo

I'm kinda new to this, so I hope this gets to Joe or someone who can help. I'm a graphic design student that just recently got a really cool assingment, "Make a poster that embodies the sound of a band or musican that you like to listen to". I've always wanted to try something like this but, never had the tools I do now to actally do it. I've got a handful of ideads, one of them involves using sillouettes of Joe & the band, but I can't seem to find any photos of that are of the individual musicans and are full shots, as in not cut off by the sides of the image or being obscured by something else, other that thier instrument. If anyone, ANYONE knows where I can find such photos (I have already tried here) that would be a major help. If Joe is reading this, then, well, um, would it be too much to ask for someone could run around with a digital camera or something and take pictures during rehersal while you guys are playing? Only two or three per band member? 'cause if you could, that would be absolutely marvelous. And if you can't, I'll understand. Hope to hear back soon!

big bad moon, I'm not a Chargers fan either, I just thought it would be cool for them to win. I'd like to see the Eagles and the Steelers go to the SuperBowl, with the Eagles coming out victorious :) It was a good game, wasn't it.

bahduh, my kids are great, thanks. Still haven't gotten to your email. We were away most of the day. I'm behind on a few emails. Hope you're doing well.

Suzie, glad the move is finally over, but sorry about your piano. Hope you get things sorted out soon so you can practice properly for your exam.

Mr Nick, HAPPY BIRTHDAY old man!

Steven, I hope the sun dried things out a bit. Have you been getting a lot of rain where you're at? They were showing mudslides and many accidents on the news in CA, and snow in Seattle. It's supposed to go up in the 50's and possibly hit 62 this week here. That's nuts! I think Mother Nature is smoking crack again. Stay well my friend!

mikesb, as sorry as that pun was, I still found it very phunny. lol!

Alexandre, looking forward to your email :)

Big Bad Moon: I told you to get a Tonebone pedal...Not a DS-1...Aaaargh! I hate these cheap distortion toys! But if you have $$$ issues, I guess a Tonebone pedal might be out of your grasp.

If anybody wants to hear some of my music (and some Satriani covers), go to my page on soundclick: www.soundclick.com and look for ChunkyVomit in the artists database. Or simply copy this url in your browser window:

Hey guitarnett...I went to your website and checked some of your stuff up. Great shit! Keep up the good work dude!

I f you feel like it, go take a peak at some of my stuff on www.soundclick.com and look for ChunkyVomit in the artists database.

I play guitar and a selfmade electric 6 string (tuned in fifths like a standard violin) on there. Sometimes it's hard to tell the guitar from the violin...I plug both instruments through my guitar rig. Sweet!

See ya bro!
