Mr Nick (incidentally that's my name too) I like the joke. Question for everyone - why are Irishmen seen as being thick in the first place? Just a wonder that ran through my head after seeing that message

HELP!
I was just on the point of buying the JS 1000 when I read the news! A new chrome type. Now, because it's a year that I was thinking to buy the js model and I really can't wait anymore here's the question: would it be worth waiting another month? And is this new model going to be like with what pick-ups (the 1000 or the 1200)? What do you think?
Thanks

Back after a long break (Oct '04) and even longer before that (Jan '04). Funny how three changes of shift, change in job, change in girlfriends, going through a slump in my own guitar playing, and moving can make the year fly by.
Hope all is going well for everyone. Glad to hear Joe is on track for recovery by the end of the month. For those of you who remember me, I hope all has gone well since we last spoke...and for those who don't remember/know me, nice to meet you =]
On a side note...it's really nice to see all the pushes to donate to charity organizations re: the tsunami. Unbelievable power that nature can unleash...kind of puts things into perspective with how insignificant humanity really is...
Anyway, wish you all the best in health and prosperity in 2005...

hey Joe what kind of wah pedal do you use on The Crush of Love and are ya going to be putting that on a album anytime soon, I want to learn that song sometime. Workin on Always With Me Always With You and Surfin With The Alien at the moment but sadly I need a wah pedal and a bigger amp, stupid fender practise amp doesnt do jack all for tapping and artificial harmonics. Im going to invest in a JS 1000 or 2000 this summer when I have a job and the money to get one but at the moment im actually building a Stratocaster of my own from scratch, thank goodness i took my squier apart to use as a template :D Putting the PAF's that you use in it though if i can figure out how to install humbuckers with a single coil guitar. You have to come back to Toronto sometime and do a concert again, I will bring my camera along too and take some photos.

Joe- Glad to hear you're recovering. Since you mentioned it....A special thanks from myself and all the 'troops' for the support and for mentioning us. I'm nearing the date for my first deployment since becoming a Marine. A good many of us look forward to coming back and seeing you or others perform, so, by all means, keep up the awesome work. Do be careful about the illness thing though. Even us tough guys have to take a break and get better.

You couldn't access my site? That's weird! I am absolutely sure that I have the right address, since I basically copied the link from the page's browsing window...Can't go wrong this way. Here it is again:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/chunkyvomitmusic.htm
If it still doesn't work, just go simply to www.soundclick.com and go at the bottom of the opening page. There is a search engine...Just do a research by artists name and look for ChunkyVomit.
Does anyone else has provided links to get to their own music?

I again folks,
Don't mind me too much here, but I just wanted to try to make my own impression of Joe Satriani here...Meaning: Writing a complete post in blue. I see by the numerous posts installed here that Joe is bathing in a pool of dedicated fans and this is quite remarkable.
Sorry about your pneumonia Joe. If anything positive could get out of this, you could try to write a song on it...Call it: Pneumonia #9 or something, and try to make us feel the pain through your guitar!
Hey Joe! (That reminds me of something...) Do you need an electric violin player for your next album? Hint...hint...hahaha!

Joe: Glad you're doing better! Sounds like your last two shows were like the Packers game at the beginning of the season where Favre (under a concussion) jumped off the bench and threw a touch down strike.
Phrydom: Good to hear from you, I'm glad things are holding together for you. Take care.

Stevee T, "I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner....that is what I truely want to be..ee..ee " err, be careful what you wish for there bro. They don't plump when ya cook 'em. lol! As for what I do - I work part time in retail at an outlet center, but I'm not in the sales end of it. I work in a warehouse getting clothes ready for the store downstairs. That way I can wear jeans and use foul language ;-) lol!
PFields, so you're telling me that where you live the wind don't blow, it sucks. lol! I couldn't stand to live in the middle of nowhere. Are your parents happy there? Is it safer than where you were living before - not including the poisonous critters you may come in contact with whilst taking a stroll out yer front door. lol!
Alexandre, very happy to hear your sister is doing better. Very good news!
Civgeek, one more pop song like that and I'm going to start a prayer chain that you pee in bed!!!
SupaaDave, the spider took care of the fly - ACK!!! I'm making the same face Dennis' mom!! LOL!!
bahduh, I'll get back to your email soon.

Aaaarrrgggg! Time to ice the kicker! Nooooooo! Mecca-lecca-hi-mecca-hiney-ho! HE MISSED IT - NO WAY!!! Geez man - effin rookie! Damn! Now we need an interception and a run-back! Go Chargers!
Steven, have a good weekend buddy!
Mr Nick, what Irish drunkeness? *looks left, looks right* Oh... nevermind.

It's been a long time. I've skipped 65 pages, I'm sure I've missed heaps.
Bahduh: hello! Sorry to not have responded. I saw nothing of the 3rd test as I was at a Scripture Union mission for a week. I read the news today and on Friday.
Joe: great to hear from you! Glad you're on the mend. I hope I'll catch you in Melbourne.
My absent-ness is because I went to visit my family for a few days, then it was Christmas and New Year and all the important places closed down, and then I went away for a week. Awesome time running a kid's holiday programme at the beach (it's summer time here) and sleeping in tents.
To anyone affected by the tsunami, I offer my condolences. A friend of mine is from the Maldives and I haven't been in contact with her yet.
