yeah cat's rule
Big Bad Moon you've been talking about pedals for ages. drop it already. go at the music store pick out 5 or 6 test all of them and get the one you like most. it's as simple as that.

Civgeek yeah, sounds like what wer are doing. thermo something equations and stuff. the test is tomorrow, I'm screwed! lol. I am pretty sure I can at least passt though.
PFields do you mean gear as in guitar and such? if so then I play an Ibanez S 470 dx qm which I am very happy with. and I Berhinger Gx212 for an amp. It's sweet but of course like anyone else I want a tube head and all that. and I recentely got a Boss GT-3 which really helps make the amp sound better and it has some really killer effects and stuff. I am happy. for now, lol.

Mr. Webmaster!! Thanks very much for the update, we know how busy you are and appreciate any info you share with us about Joe and the guys!!
Mari: Nice to talk to you here! I'm sorry things aren't going very well for you right now, but things always manage to get better sooner or later! I have to confess, I didn't even notice your friend at the concert "flying"! I was too enthralled with watching Joe perform, and also very worried about him at the same time. We were right up against the stage both nights and I could see what a toll it was all taking on him. But I'm sure your friend cracked Joe up, he appreciates his crazy fans!! Hang in there..........
Steven, hi there!! Nice to hear from you! You sound as though you are doing very well and in a creative place! My son and I are doing well, and he continues to teach me how to play guitar. My fingers are very sore!! I type quite a bit in my job to narrate all my contacts, and they were suffering all day today! But I shall continue to play to toughen them up. Don't know how all you guitar players do it!! Take care!
Mark, sorry to hear about Jordan being sick. I remember those days very well and all the worry I felt when my baby was sick. I would have taken on any pain or suffering in his place!! Thank you for the mail and I'll answer it soon. I hope you, your wife and son all take good care!
Austin, where are you? Still planning on posting a review of the San Fran shows? I've been looking forward to them!
Jazzzzzzzy, how's life? Ever get moved from the "dirty south"?
Michelle, you had very good advice for Bahduh... a parent's job is never done, huh? Some days I wish I could resign, but no one will let me! Lol!
To anyone who went to the 12-26 EWJS show and had platinum tickets: Have any of you gotten the link yet for our pictures? I sure haven't......if anyone has, can you send me the link please? Anxiously waiting for the pics!
And to Mr. Joe, sounds like you'll be jumping in with both feet touring again......please don't forget us in the US and come see us too!! We can never get enough of "Curly Joe Satareenee"! :)
Jeez, it's almost mid January.......WHERE does the time go anyways!!! Wish I was going to NAMM to see Joe and Steve!

Hi all, been out of the loop since November 18, I got fired that day, sucked pretty hard, the 4 months leading upto that were stressful, in June got a new manager, we just didn't seem to hit it of at all. she made it miserable for me. after 5 yrs of exceeds and meets reviews she found all kinds of things to nit pick with me. So I put my head to the grindstone and kicked more butt, this just pissed her off. it left her with no recourse but fire me. and give me some corporate line about not meeting company standards, all along it was just her standards. earlier tonite I heard on the news that the company got bought out. God works in mysterious ways, he got me out of there before it all went south, I've been looking for work every day since, tomorrow I go with a temp agency, I don't have any worries about it, I know my profession, to temp to hire is better than nothing. I'm writing this from the lobby of the hospital, my wife soulmate is in emergency, severe stomach pain, on top of early diagnosis of MS, God will take care of this as well, of that I have absolutely no doubt.

Hi all!
Bahduh: it was disappointing to see the game over so quickly. I was broadcasting on the radio and every now and then I'd look at the TV and see that someone else had gotten out. 16 million dollars, that's a pretty good effort!
Zenfish: hi yourself! Hope your band is progressing. I'm meeting with mine tonight for the first time since before Christmas.
It's 26 degrees outside, which in this location is a lot less endurable than when it's 26 elsewhere. Sweat.
Blue Buffalo: great attitude, I'm impressed. Let me encourage you to continue seeing your predicaments this way.

My lead will be featured next to some scary players..so i played mostly pentatonic .. thats in character for me.. that is it..

GUITARNETT:
Thanx for taking some time to listen to my songs...
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/chunkyvomitmusic.htm
For the CIRCLES cover, making the exact intro was easy...hehe...I just plainly took the actual real pad intro from Joe's CD and slowly cross mixed my version into it. If you listen closely, you'll hear little texture changes and some out of sync shakers in the area where both tracks jump over each other.
Sorry, no JS guitars in there...I play self made guitars and violins. I do own a few Strats and an exquisite LesPaul. But mostly, I play my self made axes!

Hey Joe Hope your feeling better, Your two months older than me, ,saw you twice House of blues in Chicago g3 and Aragon Brawl room Chicago, I always tell people when you come out of a Joe show you have to ask yourself if you just saw what you think you saw, Flying in a blue dream fits. anyway I just joined and have a specific question, I have a 10 year old son who has dabbled on guitar for about 2-3 years
Now however he picks it up every night after school, I just bought him a Baby Taylor so he can get past the constant tune and re-tune and focus on the actual playing. I play, since I was a kid and we have a complete band downstairs with lights P.A the works.I did this to expose him early, Now that he is getting serious I want to ask you what is the best way to teach him , I read anything I can get where you discuss teaching and have the basics, Is there a good structured way to teach, I thought about creating a bound practice schedule for him so he covers all the various elements on a
regular basis and so he has structure, What would you suggest ? or is there a program out there I don't know about
It would be great if you put one together, I just ordered your guitar secrets and have an idea that will be along this line but I guess what I want is a structured program for him. This little guy is a guitar parahna he can't put it down. He reads tab and can play lines after just hearing them once so I want to keep him going Hope you can Help. The next time your within
500 miles of Chicago I bringing him to the show if that doesn't inspire him nothing will.

Happy new year Joe, listen I just dropped in to say hang in there. I had pnumonia around this time last year. I never ever, ever want to get even close to getting that sick again. Its pretty unreal what it does to you. It took me like a month or so before I could function again. What a life altering expierence, anyway stay warm over there in the bay. - another album!!! oh yeah bring it on! cant wait - I still cant get enough of the last one. Souls of Distortion makes my hair stand up evey time. You really are brilliant, and what is really amazing is the quality of your work after all these years. You still got it ( not that you ever lost it ) but you still have that wonderfull soul that comunicates so much feeling and attitude, thank you for that.
