962- to be honest, if that's how folks on here took it about our new "great sound insulation," well that's fine! After 10 months of misery, including some no-brain w**ker doing DIY all hours, hearing people doing allsorts??? in the flat below, being woken up by some idiot who EVERY night came in at 2 a.m. after his bar job (after a few beers I assume... waking us up anyway!) .... it is just nice to be able to sleep at night. At last! If you want to offend me BTW, you will have to try harder! LOL!

marimariSRV,
Keep that positive vibe goin...maybe there's somethin at the NAMM show that's right up your alley?
If you stop by the DiMarzio booth, I know Steve Blucher (he designs Joe's pickups) will be there..tell him Hi from me, and take his picture if you'd be so kind....so I can razzz him a little about it...he's a good sort of chap!
Peace, Love & Happiness!

Big Bad Moon 1889- Hi, Actually i have been playing for two years, but have been trained by some really gifted player's. And they all taught Me, That when I asked at how to play riff's, and go fast. They said to have the knoweledge of the type of song's and style you want, and to Also work on scales, Pentatonic scales, Major, and minor. and the circle of ffth's pattern, and develpo speed, and endurance runinning over these progression's, and slowly build speed. and endurance. and invent your own patterns, built off of the pentatonic scales, you will soon be able to speed up Your playing, and nimbleness, to Conform to whatever style you choose. Also apreggio's and legatto form's will help with speed, and stuff!and knowing basic chord structures, you can write Your own song,'s, and in key, Play these scales over them, and have A whole song! Hope this help's!
Rock On! :-)

Re: bahduh
yu come from perth...du yu play cricket......perth is supposed to be the fastest pitch in the world...a lot of bounce.........is it really so?cheers mate........fosters to yu....
no i don't play cricket (i'm a chick you see ;) though women do play cricket) - my brother does have the odd fun game with his mates. but that doesn't really count because hitting a tennis ball around is totally different to facing that heavy red rock the real cricketers use.
a year ago i was outside The Hyatt Hotel waiting for MetallicA - & i saw Brett Lee & Wassi Accram (sp?) arrive :) i recognised them, but i was waiting on my favorite band :D
and most Aussies don't drink Fosters - thats a big con pulled by the advertising companys. my brother drinks VB, Carlton Cold & what's that Tasmanian beer with the Tassie Tiger on it called? i can't remember its name.

BigBunny Cats rock...especially fat cats, although when I get my own house I'm only ever having 1 bulldog....I'm finished with animals that malt everywhere lol
malt? is that what you call leaving all that fur everywhere?! LOL ;D
BigBunny... . . . .
p.s. rabbits leave fur around too - my Big Bunny everynow & then gets all motherly (ie: wants to have baby bunnies) so she pulls out her gorgeous grey/silver fur & makes a cosy pile somewhere. usually in the shed :)

Keith who? isn't he a country & western guy....i don't know any of his stuff. but the only country i like is Johnny Cash :)
Re: DelfinoPie
This may seem like a silly question...but what does S.M.F stand for? It's been bugging me for a while now lol
i always thought it meant Slow Mutha F*cker - because the song has a slow bluesy thing going on....i could be wrong though :)

Guitar Cowboy: If you buy a copy of the Satchurated Feedback CD we'll consider doing another one haah! Kidding....but your money go to a good cause, and there are really great performances/tunes on there, the clips on the website online give you a taste, especially in the case of Clarky's tune, which really develops in a Dream Theatre sort of way. Were still up in the air about another album, but the best way to find out is to hang around the forum and see what develops.
962: Yeah, the library is killer! I had no idea that that leval of realism had been achieved until I heard it. Basically the library is so large because instead of recording one note per octave, then pitching it up or down to create more notes (which is typically done in many midi libraries) this library recorded every note of every instrument in the actual Vienna orchestra, which means you ar actually triggering pure recorded notes every time you hit the keyboard. That's why the library is 100 gigs (mind you it's only 16bit 44.1.....you can imagine how large it would be at 24bit 96khz...probably 3-400 gigs!).
