Slanshroom Sorry to hear about your predicament bro' that sucks for sure, all that time off work and you can't play ! Perhaps you better calm the gymnastics down for the future - lol. I've mailed you about something which may or may not be of interest to you. Get better soon man.
ZincMaster Great date story, must have broken the ice for further dates, or did she not see him again through embarassment ? lol
MariMari Be sure and check out Dave Martone at NAMM, he's on the Tone Bone and Parker guitars stand.

Big Bunny,
Yes, Keith Urban is a big country hit in the US, and he's from down under...play's a nice guitar & writes some tastey pop country hits.
I'm told some of the ladies like him too!

Stevee T, If you want to hear Keith Urban at his finest you need to go back before his solo stuff to a little instrumental ditty called "Clutterbilly" on the band album "The Ranch".. Some smokin Tele on that tune...
SOTD "Sleepwalk" from Stray Cats "Rumble in Brixton" DVD. A truly virtuoso performance by Setzer on this tune. Not my favorite kind of music but the man can flat out play.....
Civgeek, we need your daily soap update and maybe some Thomas Dolby lyrics?? "She blinded me with science" perhaps?

Hello Joe and other website members.
James B here, currently in Sydney Australia, on tour as a guitarist in Queen's We Will Rock You musical. Yes, I can hardly believe it either; I get to pretend to be Brian May! I am very glad to see Joe is touring Australia. I certainly hope to see Joe in Sydney on a Wednesday in March. However, it may work out that I have a show to do myself that night...I certainly hope not, as Joe is one of my alltime favourite guitar players ever and I would love to be there. In fact, the Aussie promoter is our promoter too, now THERE is a thought.,.!!
Best wished to all of you out there. Get well Joe and kick our Aussie butts!!
Cheers,
James B

Wednesday's Soap Update.....
This morning, since I got a nasty elbow from my wife with along with a request to turn over and "Stop that F#$%in' snoring !" I was a little more coherent as I stumbled to the bathroom. Therefore, I managed, in the dark, without my glasses mind you, to waddle my fat ass to the other bathroom where in the cubbard awaiting me like a beacon of nice smelling clean was a brand new bar of Dial soap. This is not my usual soap. I am a bit of the princess and normally use Aveda soap or sometimes we will get all "earthy" and make our own soap. But, Hail, today I am clean AND I don't have that feeling of being chased by an orange every where I go. So far a good day.
Mikesb - I love Brian Setzer. That guy has a great vibe when he's playing. Having spent a lot of years playing in a big band I really dig the new stuff also. Nothin like having the horns popping behind you as you're soloing. Awesome stuff.
Sotd:
Everyone get their white cowboy outfit and sing (If you don't get that joke I'll post later on it)
With the heartbreak open
So much you can't hide
Put on a little makeup makeup
Make sure they get your good side good side
If the words unspoken
Get stuck in your throat
Send a treasure token token
Write it on a pound note pound note
CHORUS:
Don't drink don't smoke - what do you do?
Don't drink don't smoke - what do you do?
Subtle innuendos follow
There must be something inside
We don't follow fashion
That would be a joke
You know we're going to set them set them
So everyone can take note take note
When they saw you kneeling
Crying words that you mean
Opening their eyeballs eyeballs
Pretending that you're Al Green Al Green
No one's gonna tell me
What's wrong or what's right
Or tell me who to eat with sleep with
Or that I've won the big fight big fight
Look out or they'll tell you
You're a "Superstar"
Two weeks and you're an all time legend
I think the games have gone much too far
If the words unspoken
Get stuck in your throat
Send a treasure token token
Write it on a pound note pound note
Don't drink don't smoke - what do you do?
Don't drink don't smoke - what do you do?
(repeat)
Subtle innuendos follow, must be something inside

Hey Joe, just wanted to give you my "get well soon...we miss you!" I just got back to a computer workstation, so I had to re-register, but it's good to be back.(I was the original Strangebeaut) We can't wait for you to reschedule your show in Phoenix, I NEVER miss you guys. I do miss Stu(tell him that his fans in Phoenix say Hey!), but Matt is a perfect solution. All I time for is a huge Thank You for yet another exploration of the emotion of music. "Is There Love In Space?" is incredible! "Souls of Distortion" has touched me deeply-like the latest "Echo" or "Why". Gotta go! Hope to see you soon!
Chuck(Strangebeaut65)
P.S. If possible, could you work the "Jam" portion(at least) of "Holy Night Jam" into a show or live recording sometime? And, as long as I'm asking, how about "Green Grass and High Tides" for an "all together" G3 jam? Maybe? O.K. Thanks again!!

Delfino I believe this is what you were after.

Function: verb
Etymology: alteration of Middle English mouten, from Old English -mutian to change, from Latin mutare -- more at MUTABLE
intransitive senses : to shed hair, feathers, shell, horns, or an outer layer periodically

JUJU - That's a lot of scratch for books!! We try to get as many of the web as possible . You can save a bundle. Look for the international editions they are 50 - 75% less than the book stores. I have only spent 250 bucks for the last two qtrs of full time.

Mikesb - Cool, I'll do that. My wife is getting a little payback for all the yarn she's bought over the years (she knits) by me bringing home new DVDs and looking at new guitars for this summer's purchase. Payback is a bitch!! Ive bought 3 or 4 DVD/CDs in the last week. Ha ha.

I am not sure what post you are referring to. The last post to you was to explain that Fight the good Fight is a Triumph tune not a RUSH tune. Use the quote feature and explain your question if you care to.
